We just grabbed Chinese takeout tonight. I got Sesame Chicken. The place we go to will spice it just how you like so I get it medium and it is great. I looooove sesame chicken!

Happy Sept. 1!! :)

My hubby is off today and we are going on a date. We're going to probably the Olive Garden, then to see World Trade Center. No cookiing for me!!

WFD at your house?

We are going camping all weekend so tonight is hamburgers with mushrooms and onions..... tomorrow night is ribs with baby red potatoes......and since it looks like Sunday Ernesto will visit us..... it will be chicken soup in the crock pot. We don't rough it if you couldn't tell.

It's been crazy here, so no cooking or Dis'ing for the past few days. It's crunch time on the farm, and we partner with a friend so that both have enough help. This means that I have a lot of driving because I shuttle the guys back and forth. Oh well, it's almost done, just hope that the rain holds off a bit.

Lindsay, I just saw that you were hurt, those bruises look wicked! I hope taht you hurt less than those bruises show.

I have been watching this storm, and hope that those in the path do not suffer any damage.

Last night I made DH a hamburger and I had a BLT, nothing fancy, but we ate at 9 PM so there was not a lot of time to make anything.

Tonight we are going to the Red Sox game (Green Monster seats, whoo-hoo!), so dinner will probably be popcorn! Go Red Sox! (They could sure use some help right about now...)

I think my dad is taking me and my hubby out to dinner at The Chop House tonight. If so, filet mignon it is!!! :)

Don't know, yet! I'm off to the first page to find something yummy sounding!

I'm going to make Spanish rice (with ground beef) and cornbread today. :sunny:

Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, salad and corn on the cob!
BTW, just back from grocery store and saved 59.00 by coupons! :woohoo:
The cashier said "Do you want to use ALL these coupons?". Duh! No, just run through the ones you want to.
High five me!

I don't know what we're having yet. I'll have to look through these pages. It will probably be something with boneless chicken breast. Any ideas?????

I am making Shredded BBQ Chicken in the crockpot today. Needs to be little or no effort on my part as we will spend the day outside repairing our damaged fence from Ernesto.

So, last night's dinner was...a handful of peanuts. Oh, and a watery Fenway beer. I have sunk to a new dinner low.

Tonight's dinner will be better: grilled porterhouse steaks and portobello mushrooms, sauteed summer squash and zucchini, sliced tomatoes from the garden, and from-scratch macaroni and cheese.

Sorry I failed to get on last night. We had Taco Soup. It really hit the spot.

:cheer2: Tonight DH and I are going to the OU game, so dinner will probably be a hotdog or hamburger. DD and my mom are going to watch it on tv, so they'll probably eat the rest of the taco soup. Boomer Sooner! :cheer2:

I'm not sure about dinner. I do have some leftover rice. Think we'll have a baked cheese & broccoli rice dish with crab cakes and maybe coleslaw.

Thanks for the suggestion! It sounds good. I definitely will try this! I ended up making Lindsay's Jambasta again!!! Everyone loves that one in my house!
Does the La Jolla Chicken have plenty of taste???
Thanks again!

Even though I missed the deadline for the paper we went ahead and tried the garage sale today. We made $170! Not too shabby! We're doing it again next weekend with my cousin and we are going to put it in the paper so hopefully we will do even better...I still have plenty left.

But anyyyway...my aunt brought us some leftovers from her catering gig so no cooking. We had chicken breast stuffed with ham and mozzarella cheese, mashed taters, green beans and rolls with cinammon butter. It hit the spot!
