I used this as a guide:
CARAMELIZED BAKED CHICKEN
INGREDIENTS
3 pounds chicken wings
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 cup honey
1 clove garlic, minced
salt and pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
Place chicken in a 9x13 inch baking dish. Mix together the oil, soy sauce, ketchup, honey, garlic, salt and pepper. Pour over the chicken.
Bake in preheated oven for one hour, or until sauce is caramelized.

But I didn't measure anything, added corn starch to thicken, used bl/sl chicken, and cubed it to make it cook faster. Oh - and we were out of ketchup so I dumped some honey bbq sauce in it. It was the best I could come up with
It was actually really tasty, but really didn't caramelize (though I read the reviews and noticed that it didn't for others either). Might work better with skin-on chicken though. The sauce is runny but very tasty put on the rice.
