Janice, that cake recipe looks soooo good!

I also grilled up asian chicken wings. I'm so thankful I finally learned how to use that grill. Makes cooking so much easier! It was a marinade of soy, brown sugar, and white wine. Maybe from here too...?

I think that may have been my recipe...glad you liked it. It is really good with flank steak too! :thumbsup2

Whatever my Mother makes me and brings over. I think I have pneumonia and dh and ds are going to "the hunting camp" tonight (thank God for small miracles!) so my Mom said she'd bring me dinner.

I hope you feel better!

I think we are going out for dinner.
I work today, also it dark and gloomy oh did I mention cold. I should be in WDW again

I was playing around with my points yesterday wondering if I could swing it.

I love playing with those points. We just rec'd a $200 credit each from Continental (they had to put us on another flight in Nov so this was our enticer sp) so I have been toying with the idea of SSR or my sis can get us a deal at the Atlantis...that might win though...

It is colder here too. I hate it.

The kids and I are going to my parents' house after Liam's soccer game. I think she is making Cornell chicken. Tomorrow, we are going apple picking and to a homemade ice cream stand for sundaes as big as our heads. Well, actually, just one sundae. The kids and I will share, and we probably won't be able to finish it. It is really that big.

ETA: GO RED SOX

What is Cornell Chicken? Forgive me if its posted here already. Have fun apple picking...that sundae sounds yummy!

I forgot to post WFD...we are having pizza. Iam not feeling 100% so I am lazy. I think I pulled a muscle in my chest so I have been sore since last night...only me! ;)

Tonight I'm making Steak-umm's in egg noodles covered in beef gravy. It's a quick dinner that can sit. DF isn't expected home until 7-7:30 tonight.

We had Creamed chicken over biscuits w/glazed baby carrots on the side…yum!

1 large onion chopped
2 tsps butter
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 cans condensed cream of mushroom soup
2 cups sour cream
½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup milk

Chop onion, sauté' in butter.
Add soup, sour cream, and milk and cheese.
I then dumped this over 4 frozen chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
I cooked this on high for a couple of hours and then turned it down to med-low…as the chicken cooked I shredded it…total cooking time 5 hours.

I served this over biscuits and it was very tasty!

Oooh, that looks good. And looks relatively fool proof.

Aimee It is very easy.:thumbsup2

I used to make very involved recipes before I had Alex I would make puff pastry it take 2 days to make it since it has the rest between rolling it out. I also decorated cakes too. Now I'm all for easy and fast.

Me too! I attempted baklava one day, well it took ALL day, needless to say never again. That was way before Kyle was born.:rotfl:

I'm making chili (with toppings and munchie sides) and we'll probably have some Halloween cookies after dinner. :)

I'm feeling MUCH better today!! I'm going to try a new recipe "Creamy Chicken and Noodles" I got it off SparkPeople and it sounds like a yummy warm hearty meal for a chilly day! Some lowfat biscuits to go with it and we'll watch the Pats and Dallas!:thumbsup2

Glad your feeling better. What did your Mom put in that mac & cheese that heals you so fast?

I work again today so maybe some kind of soup. It's going to be cold and rainy here. Fall has fallen hard around here. I'm going to dig out my crock pot recipes and start planning.

Good morning!

Lauren - How are you feeling today?

Mermaid - Glad you're feeling better!

It was too nice outside yesterday to be inside cooking, so we grilled up some chicken and I threw together a salad. I'll cook the Shrimp & Potato stew today!

Have a great day everyone!
