That wine sounds great! I'll have to look for it here? Reasonably priced Napa Cab would be a good one for my wine cellar!![]()
Actually this is a good wine for the ol wine cellar - it will age well - in about 5 years it will be perfect (if you can hang on to it that long!)
We are gonna get another bottle this weekend to age.
You guys are going to be seeing some different dishes from me thrown in to the mix in the next weeks. A friend of mine from another forum sent me a HUGE box of foods from New Orleans. Now I have all these different New Orleans things to cook with. I've got red beans and rice, some jambalaya stuff, all kinds of different spices and mustards, beignet mix...she even sent me grits! I think I am going to make a shrimp and grits dish like one that I saw on No Reservations recently.
wow - something to definately look forward to!!
I had a shrimp and grits that was to DIE for in Appalachicola, FL at a place called Boss Oyster. I'd love to try to replicate that dish - but I don't know where to start. It was a very cheesy grits recipe with ham and bacon and shrimp and chives. It was SOOOO goood.....
Think you can come up with something like that? Me and DH both would be all on that!!
THE TRIAL IS OVER!!!! Hooray!!!! DH will be home tomorrow afternoon!!!!! Can you tell I'm excited? Alan just called and told me. I can't wait until the kids get home from school so I can tell them. They will be thrilled!
Thats good news!!!
