We did it! We get the trifecta of extended deluxe hours!

Nice. I actually think it’s super underrated at AK. I was really skeptical at first but having actually done it in July I think it’s better than Epcot EEH tbh. And you’ll be there when it’ll be dark enough to really enjoy it.

Where are you seeing the Animal Kingdom is extended on Wednesdays. I don’t see anything on the app anymore.
It will be on the MDE Park "All Hours" Calendar tomorrow if AK will have EEH on Nov. 5th. It is very likely due to the schedule to record the Holiday segments at MK on No. 8-9.

Also HS will not be hosting EEH on Nov. 5th even though HS has EEH on Oct. 27th (the week before) due to prep for the first Jollywood Holiday party on Friday, Nov. 8th.

Agree completely. We had the best time at AK for extended hours. It was in early February this year and literally my kids went on Everest 5 times in a row with no wait. We actually walked through several areas and looked around and we were the only ones on the street. Saved FoP for last and that was only 25 min wait. AK at night is also amazing!

That was probably my favorite part, getting to see these richly detailed areas without tons of people around. I got some amazing photos. I only wish it had been during the fall/winter months when it gets darker earlier. Was so weird walking out of EEH when it was still broad daylight. I don't typically go later in the year and I can't remember ever seeing Pandora at night.

I also wish that Pandora would be open more often after sundown.

During the summers of 2017-2019, AK stayed open each evening until 9 or 10 pm with some nights until 11. Rivers of Light was performed nightly at 9 pm and again at 10:30 on select nights.

On our most recent visit, we found AK to be less crowded from 4-6 pm on a regular day than it was from 6-8 pm on an EEH night.

We are scheduled to visit 10/28 (Tuesday) to 11/7 (Friday).

Deluxe hours:
Wednesday 10/29 - DHS
Monday 11/3 - Epcot
Wednesday 11/5 - Animal Kingdom

We are most pleased with this turn of events! 😄

Not to dampen your celebration, but our Trifecta is even better. ;)

Wednesday 9/3 Magic Kingdom
Monday 9/8 Epcot
Wednesday 9/10 Disney Studios

Full disclosure, we don’t care for AK very much & rarely go there.

I have to disagree, we hold AK above ALL parks! (controversial, I know).

We are going to Halloween Party, so that makes up for no MK extra hours for us. Although I'd trade Epcot for MK hours...

I remember! First time we ever ate at Tusker House we had "brunch" with the Rivers of Light package. I miss that show so bad (the original version with the storytellers on the boats, not whatever it was by the end).

I hesitate to draw any conclusions from my AK EEH time just because it was abnormally dead that week everywhere except, but I hopped over from Epcot and tapped in at exactly 6pm and it was an absolute ghost town. FoP was as low as 15 posted at one point.

AK tends to be very dead in general by park close just because so many people hop out earlier in the day, but I really loved the time to walk around and just take in details with no one there.
