I've been lurking lately, but Glynis, that is a parent's worst nightmare! I'll keep them in my prayers.

Forget dinner....more pictures! :goodvibes How come when I have a guy working in my house he doesn't look anthing like that?

I am going to look thru the list to see if you all have posted any fondues. I can make a chocolate one that the kids love...well, what wouldn't taste good dipped in chocolate? But I'd like to find a cheese one that they'd like.

However, tonight will be some kind of pasta, since DH is playing golf.

Lori- Thank you very much for pointing out to us that Sheryl is holding back....hmmmm I wonder if she does have a shirtless one then??!!??

Most important---Huge congrats to Rick!!! I am so glad to hear you will have health insurance once again.......have fun with the Bonus money too!!!!

I too agree, best of both worlds!!! Kris' younger cousin is gay and sent us a picture of himself and his friends on the beach in florida, well I scanned it in and cropped him out of it, and made it my wallpaper for Heath to see when he came home, he asked why I took him out of it........I told him that it was creepy to be starring at him on the beach, but his friends were hot to look at, lol. Good thing we are close or he would think I was insane!

Glynis- What a day you have going on for you!!

Nancy- you won't drive me away....I totally agree with you on how ridiculous insurance plans are. Dh would quit his office job and just have our own business if health insurance wasn't so darn expensive. The plan through his office is just to good to walk away from.

The one day that Ross doesn't have any sports going on to get hurt at, and he gets headbutted by the dog (110lb lab) and has this huge egg and bruise on his forehead. Now he is walking around with an ice pack on his head....oye the drama!!!

Poor guy!

You guys are so freakin hilarious!

Iam not holding out on you guys, I wouldn't do that to y'all! I went hunting through the pics for that one!

Wendie, I really tried to get a better pic of the arm & tattoo, but he just keeps moving, darn it!!!:lmao:

And I'm so depressed, he has stopped calling me just Sheryl & is now saying Miss Sheryl!!!!!:sad2:

I'll have to keep DH off of the DIS for a while, I can't let him know I think this guy is hot!. Cus then he'll never let me get all of my remodeling done!!!:lmao:

AHHH you guys are making me laugh. Thanks I need to laugh today.
I'm not eating dinner we had a late lunch. I had the best crab cake I ever had. I like crab way better than lobster. Sorry to all of you lobster lovers.

I'll pick something up for Alex for dinner. I'm sucking down some coffee so I can wake up I promised to go to the movies tonight. We are going to see Ratatouille.

Lori -- Congratulations to Rick! When I was younger, I was always hopelessly attracted to gay men. They smelled nice, they dressed well, they didn't think belching in public was funny, they liked seeing indie movies, and they didn't mind spending hours in the mall while I shopped for a dress.

Pennst8er -- I can't help you with your fondue, but I bet DSis (liamsaunt) can. I'll let her know you're looking for a recipe.

Wendie -- I hope Ross's head feels better! My kids always seem to get more bumps and bruises at home than they do in their respective sports.

Nancy -- No worries about driving me away here! However, I do have to say that health insurance is one thing the Army has right.

Sheryl -- Your kitchen looks beautiful. I really like the backsplash.

Caili and I ended up having fish and chips for dinner tonight. It's one of her favorites, and is quickly turning into the meal we have when Liam is out elsewhere.

BOYS! In our home "Boys" is a four letter word lately. :rotfl:I used to think that they were easier than girls but I think I forgot all of the bumps, bruises, cuts, scratches, falls, breaks, ER visits and blood that goes along with them:eek:

And I'm so depressed, he has stopped calling me just Sheryl & is now saying Miss Sheryl!!!!!:sad2:

I'll have to keep DH off of the DIS for a while, I can't let him know I think this guy is hot!. Cus then he'll never let me get all of my remodeling done!!!:lmao:

Today we are going to try, again, to go to P.F. Chang's :)

WFD at your house?

ETA: We have now seen the first 4 episodes of Heroes and we are HOOKED!!

Also:
Double holy moly! Who said anything about ending this thread? :confused3

Sorry, I didn't mean to stir the cooking pot. :stir: I was just passing on the link cause I was surprised the DIS even had a Cooking Board. I need to get off the CB more and see what else is out there! :)

I knew you weren't stirring the pot!! :) I should have added a smiley after my first comment. Sorry :) I wasn't mad or anything that you had posted that. Hakuna matata :)

Hey Guys! We're back! We had a wonderful wedding and a great honeymoon! Thank you all for being suck good friends!!!

Welcome home my friend! Your pictures are beautiful, you were one gorgeous bride!

Glynis, This thread has your name all over it!!! :)

:thumbsup2

Ok I just went and read Lauren's wedding post....I commented over there, but had to make sure I comment here as well!!

I saw the candy buffet on Food Networks weddings but I did not know what to do with it. This was such a fun idea and it looked so pretty. Now I just have to get to work finding a nice girl for my son so I can "help" plan a wedding :rolleyes1

Mario is pretty to look at but I enjoyed Lauren and her family much more.

But a little diversity is nice, Sheryl..........so don't stop sharing, please. :rotfl:

Since I'm working today, I think Glynis pot roast in the crockpot is in order. I'll figure out the sides later.

I never did eat dinner last night thanks to my snack on those crab cakes ;) I'll need to make a trip back there again, I'm already thinking about them.

Lauren--So glad to see you back. Love the pics--especially the one with you, DH and DS--Do you have anymore to share??? Love the candy buffet, when you were describing it, I wasn't really following, but it's beautiful and what a great idea!

We ended up going out for pizza last night, even after DH had told me we were staying home:confused3 Today I have to work, but I think we're gonna grill some chicken when I get home

No cooking for me as we're heading out of town for the day. Don't know what we'll end up eating, but it should be an adventure.

I hate to ask this, but if any of you have any prayers to spare, I sure could use them. I can't talk about the reason, just yet, but I'd be grateful for your good thoughts.

Thanks.
