Day Four - Part Two
Dinner that night was at Le Cellier. This is one of our favorite restaurants and we were really looking forward to it. I ordered DD the fruit cup, the beef and macaroni, and ice cream for dessert. She did not eat anything and would not try even I bite of the ice cream. I felt like Forrest Gump and even said at one point Lt. Dan
..Ahhce Creammm. I guess she didnt get the joke because still not even a taste. My best material is wasted on my family.
DN ordered the fruit cup which she only ate the grapes from, the cheese pizza which she ate all of, and had the ice cream sundae for dessert. She seemed to like dinner, but was anxious for it to be over so she could hit the rides.
For our appetizers, SIL ordered the mixed field green salad. It looked really good to me, but she took one or two bites and said it had more greens in it than she was expecting. Not really sure what she was expecting.

I ordered the seared rare tuna. It was ok, but not nearly as good as the app DH ordered. He got the Duck Two Ways, saying it was his revenge on the webbed fellow I encountered earlier in the day. If that was true, his revenge was particularly sweet. That app was absolutely delicious. The duck was cooked perfectly and the Chambord syrup was a wonderful complement.
For our entrees, SIL ordered the maple BBQ filet with cream cheese mashed potatoes. She said it was really good. DH and I ordered the Mushroom Filet. My filet was excellent and cooked perfectly. And that risotto is always one of my favorites. DH and I both cleaned our plates.
For dessert, SIL had the Chocolate Whisky Cake and did not care for it. She didnt or couldnt really tell us why, but she ate just two bites and that was all. I ordered the chocolate moose thinking maybe DD would have some, but she wouldnt so I ate it myself. It was really rich and the crumbs on the outside added a nice texture. I cant remember what DH had. Normally it is the crème brulee, but they were out of the maple that night and he didnt want just the vanilla.
