Taking a break from the parks...it's crazy in WDW this week. We have fast passes for later at Animal Kingdom so heading back shortly...

We are on the dining plan....wat too much food...Le Cellier is my fav so far...

We are at Old Key West...absolutely gorgeous! If anyone has any pros and cons about Disney vacation club...please PM me!!! Thanks!

Butter cake mix is used for things like coffee cakes. I used Duncan Hines Moist Supreme Butter mix. It is richer and denser than a yellow cake mix.

Barbecue turkey chili here tonight! It's a cold day, and chili will really hit the spot. I'll also whip up some corn bread, as DH doesn't believe in chili without it. A green salad rounds out our meal!

I just stopped in to see how everybody is and saw Glynis' good news! Congratulations on your success! I know how hard you worked because my cousin had the surgery a while back and she has worked so hard to lose the weight and then to keep it off. Enjoy the marathon.

I have been cooking but nothing special and not everyday. I hope everyone has a Happy New Year!

Argh, argh, argh!! We went out for an early dinner tonight and I ate WAY too much food. We ordered some oysters on the half shell and some peel and eat shrimp steamed in old bay and beer--the shrimp were from Florida, never frozen, and oh so good. THEN we had fried clams! I think my stomach is going to explode.

My stepsister, her husband, and my nephew are in town from Albuquerque for the holidays. My mom is making a huge lupper including a turkey. I can't wait!!

We'll probably have turkey salad sandwiches tonite. The only thing I'm making today is Lindsay's heavenly chocolate kahlua cake!! (we're gonna try and be good and not eat it until tomorrow night )

No kidding! Our street is already flooded! It's a great day to sit around and watch football, though

We're having Glynis' pot roast again tonight with garlic roasted mashed potatoes and probably corn.

Hey all! We're starting our drive home tomorrow. I'm really looking forward to getting home and eating home cooked food. I've not eaten out as much as I have the past week and a half. I think I might actually have to throw something together tonight, though--Jarred marinara sauce and some refrig. ravioli. But we might order pizza!

Tonight we're having leftover barbecue turkey chili. Last night we ended up going out to eat. I can't wait to try the chili.

Happy New Year's Eve!!

We are having a few friends over tonight for snacks and cheesy games. I am throwing a garlic bread Digourno pizza in the oven for dinner and serving dipping sauce for the crusts. For those of you who haven't tried this one, YOU NEED TO! It's an awesome pizza.

I am making Baked Potato Soup today. This recipe is one of our favorite soups. I lighten it a bit by using 2% milk, fat free sour cream, and turkey bacon.
