Today for Sunday linner we are having a seafood mixed grill: seared peppered tuna with devilled shallot butter, grilled swordfish marinated in olive oil, white wine, rosemary, and fennel, and bluefish marinated in lemon pulp, white wine, and grilled on a cedar plank. Sides are twice baked potatoes and roasted broccoli.

liamsaunt said:Heck, I'd rather visit you! DH and I went to New Orleans once, when we drove from Boston to Houston to see his sister. We were so incredibly broke back then, and could not afford any of the cool restaurants, but we just walked around and looked at the amazing architecture, the cemetaries...I remember there was a shop in the french quarter that sold handmade marionettes, and I swore I'd come back and buy one when I could afford it.
Dinner was good tonight. Despite all the fish, my favorite was the twice-baked potatoes!
liamsaunt said:Whoo-hooty everyone! I changed my mind. Me and my big old chest cough are heading to Paris after all!! I leave Thursday to meet up with DH.I can't believe we are doing this--we usually plan forever for our vacations, this time we are flying blind. I figure we'll see the Louvre, the Eiffiel Tower, and after that, well, I just frankly have no idea!
Food related: I am going to my parents for dinner tomorrow--DH will be en route to Paris, and I'll be having spaghetti with my Mom's sauce (yummy!)
