This doesn’t change the fact that VDH is a very studio and duo heavy resort. It’s going to be much harder to get villas than at VGC. Not impossible, but more difficult if not booking at 11m depending on number of nights & flexibility.

We got 2 studios and waitlisted a 1bd right at 11m for this upcoming Jan 1-5 and it never came through…..

Possible ..yes. Cancellations happen & may depend on how long you let waitlist run. One plus with VDH, there is still inventory to declare. Might get lucky and hit a time when units enter the system!

Downside to WL in CA is the way they classify rooms. You should be able to say give me any 1 bed that becomes available.

That’s what we were hoping too…. doesn’t seem to have happened. Now we are just hoping the rooms will be close by.

On the plus side, the studios are really nice as long as I don’t have to sleep on the pull down.
