That may have been the case. I got back on property after attending a football game in Los Angeles and the Grand Cal room service was so busy that the operator said there was a waitlist for a callback to take the order… so I walked to Downtown Disney and all of the restaurants there were jammed so I kept walking to the Disneyland Hotel.

The wait for Trader Sam’s was 40-50 minutes for a solo person, but the app said Palm Breeze was open until 11pm. I walked over to Discovery Tower, but the place appeared closed off and I didn’t see any guests.

Tired and frustrated I went over to the walk up line at Tangerora Terrance and was finally able to order some food. I ended up sitting by myself at a table for 6 in the area right next to the tables earmarked for Trader Sams…..

It's really tough to deal with being hungry and not being able to find a place to eat. I seem to end up at DL during super busy times like this. I hope it was just a one off that Palm Breeze closed so early. I'm concerned that they are reducing the hours and it just hasn't been posted, yet.

This is probably posted somewhere multiple times, but can someone tell me if the upstairs Garden Rooms are only accessible via stairs? I realize it's only one flight of stairs, but my travel partner can't always do stairs.

I get it, but they are supposed to have extended hours on the weekends…. or at least put a sign up so I don’t walk around the resort trying to find another entrance…..

Yeah people plan around hours posted, not cool to just shut down.

There is a walkway from the 2nd floor of the main tower to the 2nd floor of garden units. So they can take the elevator in the tower and be good to go.

Okay, yay! I booked one for next summer and I don't want to change my room type.
