Comes out Tuesday!!! The first chapter of the new book was posted on Charlaine Harris's website (not sure if its still there). I didn't read it because I knew I'd be annoyed that I couldn't read the whole thing I need to go preorder it for my nook!

I didn't think the last one sucked. I think it was a good bridge book between stages of action - kinda like book 5. (which I dont see how is going to be made into a full season worth of material) I think they are going to have to combine 5 with 6.

I'm excited for the next book.

Just finished the 11th book... I thought it was good... fills in some more information, cleans up old business, and preps you for the next book. I am lost on how the series will end though.

We just moved into our first house but didnt have cable for two weeks and I was freaking out thinking we were missing TB only to find out its just reruns of Season 3. I was way off on the timing.

Can't wait for the next season. I forget which book I left off on. I was a fan of the book series before the show hit. I need to finish them off.

IMO, even better. Your imagination is going to take it farther than the show can. Book 4 is my favorite. I can't wait to see how the show will interpret the shower scene.

I really wanted the spandex scene as well, but I'll take just the shower scene.

I really liked the new book. Though I agree that's a high price when they have no production costs to make the book. But I'd rather pay and have it on my kindle than have another hard cover book sitting around my house.

I think as the show goes on it will be harder and harder to match up to the books at all since they have already taken so many diversions from the book story lines. But I also hope we get that shower scene this season.

I guess I just need to forget everything from the books when watching this season...The whole fairy land thing...then the grandfather...I was like...is that...(left out for those who still need to read the book)...

And the small appearence by Barry the Bellboy...just weird..

^^ This, a thousand times!!!!!! If they don't give us some Eric love I will not be a happy camper!

Onto the subject of the book. Finally got around to reading and finishing the book a few weeks ago. It was MUCH better than the one prior but still not quite on par with how good they were in the beginning. That being said, I'd still recommend them to just about anyone. I love Charlaine Harris' writing and she's got some fantastic characters.

Someone refresh my memory. Will we see Claude this season?
