I think I read that Big Love will start after the first of next year.
Ok... I got a chance to watch the episode from Sunday last night finally.. I thought it was excellent. I know I'm the only one (well Entertainment Weekly has been loving this season too) but I just think the show is really excellent this season. I know I'm the only one but I'm just putting it out there.. just my opinion: I like the Maryann storyline still.. as long as they don't drag it out any longer then this season (which I really don't think they would)... I like the actress who plays Maryann.. she's excellent.. I was on the edge of my seat the whole one.. thought this one was more interesting then last weeks.
It was scary, funny, and touching.. I just love it! I said it before but it really does remind me of Buffy for HBO and its totally excellent. I plan on watching the episode at least once more before going through the last 3 again. I can't get enough!
So I just wanna put it out there (I feel like I'm setting myself up for an epic fail) but does anyone else really love this season? Like the Maryann storyline? Or am I just totally crazy?
Heres the review from Entertainment Weekly.. I don't always agree with them (they hate the Closer and Psych which I think is just crazy!) but I do here:

Amy, you SO have to stop by for a drink whenever you're in PA. We always seem to think alike. I agree with this completely.I do like this season much better than last season--that whole V subplot last season really irritated me. I'm not crazy about the Mary Ann storyling but it doesn't annoy me the way the V/Amy/Jason thing did.
I actually liked the queen. She's spicy! She was like a manipulative teenager making Bill stay around and withholding info about the maenad. I have a feeling we're going to move in the direction of the books in relation to Sookie's ties with Bill and Eric. Having cousin Hadley show up leads me to believe that things will be much different in Season 3.
Unless I missed it, I did notice that the Queen never introduced or explained who Hadley was to Bill. But before he left she asked about Sookie and it was as if he already knew she was Sookie's cousin. So could there be some truth that Bill was purposly sent to connect with Sookie? Just curious what other's thoughts are on this.

Was Hadley the girl who was Sophie's playmate? We couldn't figure out how Bill seemed to know she was Sookie's cousin.
Never mind I think this answeres me.
Although I do think the Maryann storyline is dominating too much of the season, I do like this season very much. There's a lot of good acting going on, as the characters who are under Maryann's spell are getting a chance to stretch their acting chops as they draw out different personalities. I've seen John Billingsley (the ME) in a number of shows now (Star Trek: Enterprise, Nine) and I am really getting to like him. Of course Michelle Forbes is another graduate of the Start Trek enterprise and I loved her character on ST:TNG. The Jason/Andy storyline is getting good. It's fun to watch two characters you thought were good for nothings, all of a sudden become two characters that are fun to watch. That whole bit with Jason wondering about things Bill could do when he is in animal mode was hysterical. ("He's not human, so it really isn't beastiality")
Actually, Hadley introduced herself as Sookie's cousin and asked about Gran. I remember that because I'd just looked at my husband and said, "That's Sookie's cousin" and Hadley immediately said something to the effect "I'm Sookie's cousin" and we both started laughing.![]()
OMG!!! Nobody mentionedEric and Pam's banter about the children! It was HILARIOUS!!!!
"TEACUP HUMANS"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I was cracking up!
Michelle Forbes was also from my favorite show Homicide: Life on the Streets. I didn't watch her in Star Trek though.
I agree about Jason! I like what they're doing with his character on the show, more so then in the books. He has some of the funniest lines... when he was talking about Sam being a chicken and laying an egg and then eating it after he changed back.![]()

OMG! How could I forget that? Also one of my favorite shows. I have the first two seasons on DVD and can't wait 'til Andre Braugher's new show, where he actually does comedy for a change.
Looking forward to the next season already!
