The first book is called "Dead Until Dark". Second is "Living Dead In Dallas", I think- I lent the first 6 to a friend, so can't check the titles to make sure.

Hey. has anyone read any of the Black Dagger Brotherhood books? A friend told me if I was into vampire books, I should read them. Are they any good??

These books are great. Very different from "the sookie" books. My fav paranormal romance authors are JR Ward, Gena Showalter, Kresley Cole. If your like this genre, you will like these authors.

Poor Daphne- she shouldn't have trusted Maryanne. But, she did kinda deserve it for luring Sam to Maryanne's "party".

I really love Jessica and Hoyt. It's like she's getting her Vampire education and her Woman education at the same time. They're both just so innocent and head over heels.

And thank goodness Lafayette has his "SPARKLE" back!

I'm interested to see how Bill will react to Eric now that he knows that Eric brought Lorena to Dallas.

I always knew Jason had it in him! Remember, he was a big time football player in Bon Temps and he was the best LODI recruit!

I absolutely hate the Newlins! HATE HATE HATE, but that's how I'm supposed to feel isn't it?!

Definately wasn't looking too good for her was it--then Maryanne just stood their smiling at her so evily (I made a new word just for this post LOL)as the blood gushed out her mouth.

I wondered what Bill would think as well after hearing that Eric brought Lorena there----there really isn't anything he can do since Eric is more powerful but I am sure they will have something that will have us gnawing at our nails!!

Can hardly wait to see what Goderick and Eric will do to the Newlins and their whacked out followers---I do love this show!!

I turned away from the TV for a couple minutes. When I saw that scene, I thought it was a preview for next week.

Now that I think of it, I missed the previews for next week.

I wondered what Bill would think as well after hearing that Eric brought Lorena there----there really isn't anything he can do since Eric is more powerful but I am sure they will have something that will have us gnawing at our nails!

I'm not liking how they are writing Bill this season. It seems like people are leading him around by the balls. Bill telling Sookie he can't protect her, then she says they are going to Dallas together. Later, she tells him she wants to check out the Fellowship. Eric is his sherrif and is more powerful so he always has to toe the line. Now Lorena is pushing him around since she was his maker. I liked him better last season when he had a pair.

A lot of questions were answered: why and how Bill split from Lorena 70 years ago, who the snitch was, who Sookie finally contacted her to get her the heck out of the basement. ;-) I at first thought it would be Eric since he zoomed out after hearing Barry the Bellboy.

I had first thought the Fellowship had taken Jason in and promoted him so quickly because they *knew* he was Sookie's brother (and hence, a connection to "her" vamps) -- guess I was wrong there.

I can see poor, poor Sam getting framed for Daphne's death, though.

Can't wait for next week!

I finished book 8 and ordered 9 from the library. Book 4 is still my favorite, but Quinn is a close 2nd.

You know, I'm not sure why, but this week's episode really didn't do much for me. Really, I knew I shouldn't have been rereading the books because then it irritates me when they veer so far off course.

But the whole Eric/Godric and Lorena/Bill thing is annoying to me because it is so different from the books.

I agree on the Bill comment. He was more appealing last season. I'm loving Eric this season though.

LOL Bill doesn't have a choice. They don't really have the time to develop the dynamics of those relationships on the show, but it's all about power and Eric and Lorena (and others ) have it.

Also there's more that I'm sure they'll write into the show somehow, but not everything is as it seems

Yes, apparently Godric heard her maybe? The plot thickens.

As far as Sam, yea, I can see something bad happening. Even if he is captured as a shifter he will probably be able to escape.

Sam is my favorite character so far.

I see that the former director from the SYFY show "Eureka" has dropped in as a vamp. Cool. He is the tall dark haired guy with the beard.
