"The Official 'True Blood' Vampire Thread" ...spoilers included.

Hey Peeps,

I'm a big True Blood fan and just found out about this thread and thought I would chime in.

OMG- I was wondering why they showed that again- I did not even pick up it was her!!!!:headache: I wonder what kind of trouble she is going to cause??

Was this in the books??

I think Tiff had said she is in the books.

That woman is a nutjob! Tara is such a sucker. I hope now that Sookie seems a bit more assertive, she will kick her butt out of the house!

It was really creepy how she had Gran's clothes on:rotfl2:

You would have thought she would have noticed the clothes right away! That was just creepy!!

It was not actually in this weeks episode- it was a preview for next week. You did not miss much- it was just a quick clip of Pam talking to Lafayette saying that Eric needed a favor. Lafayette looked a bit scared.:rotfl2:

I think she wants to try to lure someone in by selling "V". When she was saying Eric wanted a favor, she was holding up a bottle of blood.

Is it me- or is anyone getting tired of Bill always looking like a sad puppy dog when Sookie does not listen to him? He always has those darn sad eyes. He does not look very "vampire like" when he does that. I like my vampires to tell thier women how it is going to be!:snooty:

I totally agree and you about Bill, and you know I'm a fan of his, but he's becomming so wussy!!! He better step it up or Sookie gonna go for Eric. Wouldn't that be an interesting twist!!??

more so than boring me, it just annoys me...I wish they would just wrap up the Maryann storyline already...since I have to watch True Blood on demand...I keep getting tempted to just fast forward through her parts because I dislike that storyline so much!

I agree here too. I cannot stand Maryann, she's just so full of herself!

Oh I was hoping that when she was stopped out in front of Merlottes putting the angries on everyone- that she was just going to drive away into the sunset. Ugh- nope. There she was waiting to comfort Tara when she got home. And it worked. :guilty:

 Hi there!

I think she wants to try to lure someone in by selling "V". When she was saying Eric wanted a favor, she was holding up a bottle of blood.

OMG- this is true- I left out the most important part! Never count on me for the right info:flower3:

Oh- I can already see that one coming!:thumbsup2

I'm not sure if it's needy -- Bill wants to protect her.

Bill has an agenda.

I would like to think Bill has an agenda- but everytime you think he does- it seems like pushy Sookie goes and throws a wrench into it!:sad2:

I think I heard her tell Lafayette "You're back in business", which would make me think of selling V.

I love this show, and I love the books even more, but Sookie in the show is driving me crazy!! She is totally not what I have in my mind when I am reading the books. She sounds so whiny to me and her accent is horrible. She is just grating my nerves....too bad she is the star of the show. I would have rather seen the girl who is playing Daphne play Sookie, or even the actress playing Sarah would have been better. I just can't beleive that all these male characters would be falling for Sookie-as played by Anna Paquin.

ITA! Anna Paquin is driving me nuts. I thought she was a much better actress than this. I liked her enough in Season 1, but she's making me rip my hair out in Season 2!

I'm shocked at how much I like Jessica. I was totally against her character because she had no place in the books, but I find her refreshing and funny. And I like the nutjobs at the Fellowship of the Sun camp. They are entertaining.

They need to quickly wrap up Marianne's plot. Boring!

And why has Sam seen the claw marks on Daphne's back several times and he never asked her about them? Why didn't she die from the poison? I wanna scream!

I'm glad Lorena is on the scene. Sookie and Bill need a shake-up because they are getting old. Bill treats Sookie like a child, of course she whines like one. Please stay faithful to the books on this aspect and break them up!!

Respectfully disagree with your thoughts on Sookie, I really love her in the role. I liked her since she was a girl and I saw her in The Piano. I do agree that it should move along more right now tho, although I still super love this show, and I can't say that very much.

Oh no! ;) Love Anna Paquin in this role, couldn't imagine those others playing Sookie, ever. I find Daphne and Sarah dull and very expendable.

I think that now that Sam knows about Daphne being a shape shifter, maybe (just maybe) he thinks that she got them when she was her animal self. JMO.

I am sorry if this question was asked before. It's about Maryann's pig and shape shifting.

Is the pig actually "someone"???:rolleyes1

I blurted out to my husband that maybe Daphne is the pig, since she has the claw marks that aren't affecting her, she happened to come into the bar around the time Marianne showed up, her main storyline is with Sam, who Marianne has a history with. I'm sure getting a kick out of Andy's quest to find the pig, though!

I am loving that they are bringing so many of the books' characters to the show, even if they're changing things up a bit. I was especially intrigued that they kept Godric/Godfrey an ancient teenager with the strange body tattoos, even if they made him into Eric's maker on the show. Lorena showed up a bit early, but I was excited that they're throwing that relationship into the mix of the show.

I just can't stop replaying all of Eric's scenes, though
...

I did not think about it until I watched this past episode. I forget who said it, but someone called someone else a "pig"

It just sounded odd to me the way it was said. Darn it I can't remember who said it!!:headache:

I forgot to mention how much I love Jessica, especially with Hoyt! He was so cute when he was reading his comic book to her. With Bill, she is like a pouty little teenager:rotfl2: The eating disorder comment cracked me up!

I agree that there is something about bad guys but I really don't see Eric as a bad guy. I usually don't reread the book while the series is running but it was bothering me that I couldn't remember what happened in the book so I'm rereading it now anyways. ;) Eric is much more charming in the book--dangerous and always alert as to what will benefit him and his business, but charming.

I can't believe I've put this much thought into a literary character. :lmao:

I'm learning a lot here bc I have not read the books yet. :thumbsup2 Bad guy is probably not the best word could have used, I like what you and others said about the dangerous alpha male type better. There has to be a good side or a caring side with Sookie to the character and now I'm starting to see that with Eric as it moves along. It does make it interesting and super hot.

I never thought of that, but it's an interesting idea...

I'm loving Jessica, too - I hated when they brought her into the first season, but she'a a great addition to the show! Very funny and poignant to have a teenaged vamp's point of view.
