Crud, I'm going in January...

I agree seeing him perform beats anything we just hear but that's how we were introduced to him. It's part of his appeal. That's why I cannot WAIT for the tour!!

Did anyone catch him on Martha??? :happytv: That woman had my sweetie making and hanging handmade garlands!! He looked soooooo adorable, like a good husband doing his chores!

BTW, I am falling for his drummer! What a cutie!!

Tickets go on PRESALE this afternoon.

These are small venues - you might want to get on it now! CLICK HERE , get busy, and let me know what happens!

Still waiting for a visit to PA/NYC. I will not panic, I will not panic......

You guys are going to be sooooo mad. I will be at Universal, Feb. 24 when Taylor is going to be performing at Mardis Gras.

I wish I could say I was a big fan. Maybe I will be after the concert!!! He is a hoot to watch!

oh geez, what should i do? :sad2: I prefer NOT to go to Boston... 90 minutes and the TRAFFIC. Do you think if I hold out he'll play other places around New England as well. I'd rather do Worcester, MA or Hartford, CT or the Chevrolet Theatre Wallingford,CT or any place other than Boston...
OOOOOOh what to do, what to do :confused3

Oh how I wish I could help answer that. I have a feeling that I will have the same issue. There are some fantastic theaters very close to home that he will most likely play. But they will probably post a Philadelphia show first and passing that up will be a big gamble.

I've heard a lot about Worcester, MA and Hartford (as far as being frequent concert tour stops.) Maybe hold out? But I don't want to be responsible for you missing it! :duck:

DAMO!!!! :badpc:

If you don't mind can you put him in a box and send him to ME??? :lmao:

ckay: I checked with ticketmaster and ours are not on sale yet. There were some on some other sites but I don't know if I can trust them.. and the seats were HORRIBLE!!

I'll wait until TM releases them.

oh I won't blame you ckay ;)
I did hold out :bitelip: there are 2 open dates before Boston and 2 after so I'm hoping those dates were left for additions

I keep trying to add Taylor to my favorites at TicketMaster so I can be notified in advance of ticket sales but it keeps telling artist unknown or not found or something like that :confused3

Does FOXWOODS work for you? I thought of you when I saw it listed:Click here for the latest tour schedule - better than his own website!!!

I'm so pathetic. Is it ridiculous that I have Taylor's tour schedule set as my homepage :rotfl: :rotfl:

But it's a good day...Lancaster, PA. :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc Sweet looking venue. And the best part is that I won't have to put the tix on my credit card til next month (sigh of relief!)

Those aren't on sale yet are they?? I've been looking but can't find them!!

I don't know about the onsale date. I know Lancaster isn't going on sale til the end of January, thankfully. I'd watch the Foxwoods website and the TH website closely.

Yay! Your show will be a week before mine. Can't wait to get this party started.

Hey - Just got this in my emailbox. Can't wait for this freakshow......

"Taylor just launched an interactive photo upload community -- this means we need your help! All you have to do is go to the site, upload pictures of yourself and then rate the other soul patrollers you think are the best. Keep in mind that pictures should be focused on promoting Taylor Hicks the 'soul patrol way' such as - pictures with the new album, with Taylor posters, spreading the word, etc. "

Well, of course I didn't mean YOU. We are normal. Not everyone is, you know. You've seen Taylor's MySpace. Heck, my son's MySpace is a freakshow!

How's that? Did I cover my butt?

:rotfl2: :lmao: Butt COVERED!!!

Yes, I can only imagine the looney tunes from the AI boards with their pics.... I think I was the only person on that board who had NOT met him!!

Don't worry, Michael, your mother will NOT embarrass you by posting her picture kissing Tay's album cover!!

American Idol Taylor Hicks Appointed Grand Marshall of 2007 Carnival Season
By: Mariel Concepción

POSTED: 12:06 EST, December 21, 2006

American Idol winner Taylor Hicks will reign as the Krewe of Endymion's grand marshal for the 2007 Carnival season.

The 30-year-old, Birmingham, Alabama native will be joined by singer Al Green and the musical groups Journey and Styx, whom will also ride in the parade. Actor James Gandolfini will also attend, as he was recently appointed 2007's celebrity monarch.

Hicks was in New Orleans for a wedding just before Hurricane Katrina struck on Aug. 29, 2005. When he found out his flight out of town was canceled, he took a cab to West Monroe, and turned his free plane ticket into an Idol audition trip to Las Vegas.

Before ousting fellow Idol finalist Katherine McPhee in May, Hicks was a struggling musician unknown outside the small Southern clubs where he performed. His first single "Do I Make You Proud" sold more than 190,000 copies in the first week of release, according to Billboard magazine.

Endymion, among the city's largest Carnival groups with hundreds of participants and roughly 30 floats, will roll down historic St. Charles Avenue on Feb. 17, the Saturday before Mardi Gras, which is Feb. 20.

:thumbsup2

It's been a while, thought I'd check back in. Happy New Year - wow, it's going to be a good one!

4/12 - Taylor in Lancaster, PA. This is MY show. But dangit...APRIL??? That will never come fast enough!

Who else got tickets?

I'm sure you all know that the single from the CD is Just To Feel That Way and I couldn't be happier. It's my favorite. He ROCKS that songs.

I have the Wal-mart version of the CD w/HOAD on it and I just adore the new version. Wasn't a fan of the original.

What do you all think of the CD? What's your favorite song? He's done good....yes?

Hi, it's been a while! My fav two songs are the ones he wrote! Has anyone heard anything on the radio yet?
