This is the picture I took the night of the concert! It was free from State Farm! Notice who I posed next to and I tried to show off my SOUL PATROL tee shirt! Yes, that's me, looking like what the love child that Mandisa and Lisa would have if they could!!
BTW, this was about the closest I got to my guy that night! And there were women just chomping at the bit to get a picture next to him. I covered him up and scream 'BACK OFF!!"

Happy MonTAY Everyone!
well, here it is - workplay day. the last time i'll get to see Taylor in a while. i'm very excited yet sad at the same time. I won't lie either - i'm also a little scared.
why you ask? well, the lady who gave us our tickets stayed with us last night and explained some of the people that are coming. and well, robin i'm sure you know what I mean when I say this, some of the more "special" people will be there. i'm not one of those people (thank God) which is why I rarely post on the AI boards. I just have a bad feeling some of them might embarrass the Soul Patrol.
and I hear they are planning on "booing" Kat at the AI concert?? if this is true, I am really going to be ashamed...I just hope everyone acts mature.
but regardless, I am going to enjoy myself and listen to some AWESOME music and dance my butt off!

I cannot take concert pics. I've tried many times, but I end up with a lot of blur. I think I'm doing something wrong. I need to get it right before the Taylor solo tour.
Did I mention I can't wait for that? Still contributing to my *Taylor Ticket Fund*. If it gets big enough, I'm coming to Atlanta

DG - I hope you have a fantastic time tonight. I wouldn't worry about those people booing Kat. I agree that would be an extreme embarassment. But I think when something is all the buzz on the net, it seems huge while we sit alone at our little PCs. But when you get in that arena of 20,000 or so people, those 50 dopes on the web forums don't seem so significant anymore. Know what I mean? I think it would take an enormous number of people booing together for her to even hear it. Otherwise, they're just going to sound stupid to the people around them. I'm not a Kat fan, but I'm not that rude either!
By the way, DG, did you ever post the whole story about how you got to touch and talk to THE MAN? I could have missed it. Report back, we want to hear!

I have to tell you that, with the Idols here in Tampa the past couple of days, our local Fox station had 2 interviews with Taylor! The guy doing the interview said this was the first time a winner of AI had made themselves available. The others didn't or wouldn't give interviews.
Taylor looks fantastic and seems so relaxed and happy. Glad to see that someone down to earth won this contest.

He's the "first idol" in A LOT of things, isn't he??? He's really raised the bar for what an IDOL should be!

LOL, you are soooo bad, Faith!!! I have YET to hear my song outside of my own playing of it (ad NAUSEUM per my co workers
) ... the stupid radio stations here don't play it!I also hear that Black Horse and Cherry Tree song a lot, too by KT Tunstall, though. I hear Kat's song every now and again on the Daily Buzz.
