Hello! Disney World FIRST TIMER here!
Disneyland is my main park and, as I'm sure is the norm around here, I figured it was time to check out what the other coast had to offer. I'll be there from September 17th - 25th (8 days is a good number for a first trip, right? Especially if you're already familiar with Disney), and I have to say, I'm interested in checking out how different the vibe really is!
Outside of all of the stuff people tell me to be excited for (Haunted Mansion, completely different Space Mountain, Tower of Terror, Test Track, Everest, etc. etc. etc.), I think I'm mostly interested to see how different Florida's weather is? Heard it's pretty humid, even in September...
Ah well, it should be a lot of fun!
One quick question though; so far on the refurbishments list Big Thunder Mountain has been listed, which is fine, it's Big Thunder, I know Big Thunder well, it's the exact same ride, down to the announcer, but the recent Dinosaur announcement was one that really had be a bit bummed; I know it isn't Test Track or Mission Space, but how much am I missing with Dinosaur being out of commission? I want to experience as much of the stuff unique to World as possible in this one trip, because I don't know if I'll be able to get back for a while...
EDIT: I'm also staying at the Pop Century Resort, if that matters
