I wasn't surprised is was Donny Osmond dancing and knew right off it was Aresnio Hall this week.

When it came on this week I told DD12 that is was Arsenio Hall. She said- Who is that? How do you know that is him? She said the same thing about Donny Osmond. Made me feel ancient.

My son only knows him because he saw him on an old Living Single show back in the 80s when he was BIG!!

Nobody mentioned this....... was anyone surprised that it was Donny Osmond dancing? I knew it was him.

I think the mystery dancer for next week is Arsenio Hall.

Ok, really how weird did Joey look standing there with his mouth wide open & his eyes wide open in shock. Also its weird because he's very muscular, but he's so skinny & apparently short it just makes him kind of look weird.

Yes. I was surprised that it was Donny.
I also agree with you that the new one is Arsenio. I spent several years watching his show and knew it was him the first time they had the dancer there.

I forget where I heard it, but I just heard yesterday on a news program that Mario is involved with his partner ever since they got together. Also that Master P had hired a telemarking company to keep his votes high.

cteddiesgirl - I agree with you. It is more of a popularity contest, but the show forces that since:

1. you can vote during the show
2. the dancer's phone number doesn't change throughout the season
3. you only have 30 minutes after the show ends to get your votes in

Maybe the producers think it makes the show more interesting/exciting? We are our own Vote for the Worst club! LOL! (Idol reference there) We don't care how you dance - we vote for our fav!

I saw an interview with Joey and he said he had to shave his hair off to get a role in a movie. He said since his hair has been gone, good things have been happening for his career so he is keeping it off.

I wasn't surprised it was Donny, but I think this week's mystery dancer is Dennis Rodman. Did you notice how BIG those hands are?!? I also don't remember Arsenio having such a large lower lip. The first time I saw the clue I definitely thought it was Arsenio, but we rewound and watched the 2nd clue twice and I am going with Rodman on this one.

Oh, I don't think Harry will be going for a while-- atleast not til after Willa, Sara, and either Vivica and or Monique. His wife has a HUGE fan base from all her shows which kept her on last year.

I'm not sure who will go first Vivica or Monique. I'd have to say I think Vivica has the bigger fan base.

Never underestimate the power of the tween vote. If the fans of High School Musical are watching Monique will be there for a long time.

I went back to look to make sure. I did actually hear it somewhere else as a news item on the radio because they mentioned Master P. I was really disappointed they didn't show his son Romeo in the audience. I thought for sure Romeo would be dancing this year since MP filled in for him last year.

I hope so, I really like her. I'd like the final 4 to be Emmitt, Joe, Mario, and Monique-- top 5 would be Jerry!

Not sure who I'd like to win yet. Could be between Emmitt & Mario.

I wasn't saying that he can't dance. I think he can, and quite well.
But I was saying that he will be there not because of that. Why was Jerry Rice in the Finals last year? Yes, he impressed in the Finals, but not before then. Jerry should have been voted out quite a while before then.
Others that were much better than him were voted off because he had a bigger fan base. The 1st and 2nd spots should have been between Stacy Keibler and Drew. The same with Master P. He had a huge fan base voting for him even though he should have been the first to go.

It is popularity contest. And because Mario is so popular, he will be there a long time, regardless if he can dance or not.
