Thank you! We’ll probably grab lunch there and then check it out!Yes - they have model rooms set up at the resort

Not interested in buying Riviera, but can you do a walk in room tour there? Thinking I’d like to see the rooms so I know what it’s like in case it’s an open option sometime when booking. The DVC booths were too busy to ask this AM. Thanks!
This is exactly how I feel. I personally am fully on Team Preferred View, but I understand the incentive to save points with resort view. For us, the Preferred View is worth it.
We’ve seen the Epcot fireworks enough times, plus it’s a ways off in the distance.
And I don’t want to look at the parking lot.
We ask for a room overlooking the quiet pool at the RIV. Those rooms are centrally located in the building and have a balanced, serene view.
You were correct - not getting a view of the Skyliner without a preferred view. And, only some preferred view rooms would have a view of the Skyliner. My husband asked can you see the skyliner from both views? I took a guess and said only preferred, he paused, I thought he was going to say preferred but he went with resort.
We love seeing the skyliner against the resort, I think that’s why he asked.
We also talked about RIV vs CFW for the one night. I can say it’s crazy how much fancy coffee rules my lifebut we decided RIV mainly for Skyliner and to be double triple sure we didn’t want to own there (and close lattes)
Wish you were there for more than 1 night! My husband asked can you see the skyliner from both views? I took a guess and said only preferred, he paused, I thought he was going to say preferred but he went with resort.

I advocated for more than 1 night after our cruise. Alas I did not win and we have to come home on Thursday. Crazy I know when the weekend is then only 1 day away!Wish you were there for more than 1 night!
Bummer! Next time try demanding instead of advocatingI advocated for more than 1 night after our cruise. Alas I did not win and we have to come home on Thursday. Crazy I know when the weekend is then only 1 day away!
We will be at Boardwalk pre cruise for 6 days, I’m too direct point poor for that many days at RIV in a 1 bed.Bummer! Next time try demanding instead of advocating
Are you staying any before the cruise?
"It is better to beg forgiveness than ask permission."I advocated for more than 1 night after our cruise.
What view gives you the most shade on your porch? That sun is HOT there!![]()
We've never purchased the refillable mugs at RR but we are considering it for our trip next week. How early can you get into Primo Piatto to refill the mugs? When we used to stay at BCV, you could get in at 6:30am to get coffee and tea even though the store didn't open until 7:00.
Does anyone know how early the Joffrey's stand at the CB skyliner transfer station opens?
I'll never understand why you can't get coffee until 7am at Disney. When we used to stay at the Swan I could get a latte as early as 5:30 (and there was always a line when I was there).
