We'll be at AS Movies then too!! From 24th to 29th October (then moving to BW). I still can't decide exactly which night to do MNSSHP though! I keep changing my mind.

Hey Deb. Isn't this fun! My advice to you about MNSSHP is don't pick a weekend night as they are the ones the locals attend so they sell out quicker or can be more crowded. I'm going on Thursday because we planned the beginning of the week and made ADRs before I got around to buying tickets. The Castmember on the phone last night told me that they weekday nights far from Halloween didn't sell out til Sept, so you have a little time!
Have you decided if you're wearing costumes. I don't know about the kids (5, 11, and 13) as they're not my children so....but the adults are all wearing halloween tees.

I'm thinking of t-shirts too for DH and myself. My boys (12 and 9) definitely want to dress up! My 12 yo mentioned wanting to do something connected to Rock 'n Roller Coaster as he's a big Aerosmith fan and a guitarist, my 9yo is thinking 'Disney villian' - not sure which one yet - and I have a lovely Alice dress for my 2yo! I like the sound of the 26th but I'm not sure we want to start our holiday with the Halloween party and we are planning Universal for that day. Oh decisions, decisions..... lol!!

Will anyone be taking advantage of EMH? we always do, but i read the unofficial guide and it says not to. We did last year adn had no problems!! what are you all doing?

My group (7 adults, 36-50) did MNSSHP for the first time last year and it was AWESOME! We all got Target Halloween tee shirts (cheap & comfy!) and I ordered a bunch of glow bracelets, blinking Boo pins and glow in the dark spooky body jewels from Oriental Trading Co. We made quite a sight (after our 'Ohana dinner) adorning ourselves with all this stuff before heading to the Monorail. We "big kids" felt very much in the spirit without heaving to worry about complicated costumes.

I hope you all love it as much as we did!

i am not the typical disney fan.


when i go , i am in orlando for 14 days. i take the first plane out of ohare and the return plane is always 8 pm or after.

i go to every early entry and extended evening hours every day i am there in the mother land.

i sleep about 5 hours a night. i am never in my room, always on the go.

on some days, i hit all 4 parks............and i do it by bus.

Now that I'm officially booked, please add my DH and me to the list....Sept. 29 through Oct. 3 at the WL.

This will be a low key trip (except for the 'stromer meet!), so no MNSSHP for us this time!

Oh, and DMM, my rule of thumb is to avoid extra magic hours, and to avoid the participating parks on those days, EXCEPT for the AM at the MK, especially if you have little ones who want to ride Dumbo! On those days, though, I usually shoot to get out of there by noon or so before it gets too out of control. I just feel that, as a rule, the parks with EMH are more crowded for the whole day, and I'd rather go to the less crowded park. I usually shoot to go for the EMH park the DAY AFTER, and it has worked well for me

I put on my Disney shirt to wear to work this week, also my Disney World jacket because it was cold. On the way into work I ordered my MNSSHP tickets on the phone, so that made me happy. And when I walked into the front door of the hospital I work at the player piano was playing "When you whish upon a star"

Made me happy all day!

I had a Disney Day yesterday. The mailman delivered my MNSSHP tickets! it was fun because I was babysitting one of the children who I'll be at Disney with and he got to touch his ticket
Then last night I took my mom to dinner and shopping for Mother's Day and we went to the Disney store. Just being in the store made me excited for my trip.
