DisPhd - I'm glad to hear that Lily and Anna are feeling better.
Taha - I'm so sorry to hear that you are not feeling well. I hope you feel better soon. Great pictures of Kylie. She's so adorable. Where were they taken? I love the backgrounds.
Lissawynn - I'm glad you got the package. ISS- what a nightmare. It has finally gotten better in our school. We have a man in there who is a retired teacher and he created a whole program for them. Also, they are not allowed out of ISS now if they act up or don't complete their assignments. It has gotten much better with this new guy supervising them.
Does anyone else feel like they will never be done Christmas shopping? I keep going out to finish "a few gifts" and it takes me away from the kids. Every time I get home, I remember something I forgot. I think I'm finally done. I just have to get gift certificates for the men in the family who I have no idea what to buy for. My nephew is 14 and impossible to buy for. The only thing he wants is an x-box game that costs fifty dollars. I'm sorry but I'm not spending that. His mother "regifts" our kids. Sometimes, the holidays start to seem so pointless. DH's family just frustrates me.

Can I just vent for a minute here? She makes this BIG deal every year about getting the grandkids bonds for Christmas, and she has decided this last year to just get them one gift each, plus the bond. Before she would buy them a couple gifts plus the bond. Whatever, it's her money, the kids all get more than enough anyway, I see her point. No arguments there. BUT, the last 2-3 weeks, I swear to god, she has called me about 8-10 times on either my cell or my home phone, in a panic at a store, cause she's trying to decide what to get the kids, and do I think it's a good idea, and do they already have it, etc. The clincher- she already asked me to buy each kid a main present, about the $25 range, so I have and she knows it cause she already reimbursed me! Yet, she is still getting her panties in a wad over this and I could fricking scream. Yesterday she was shopping with my niece and 2 nephews (there are 6 grandkids total- we have 3 and my BIL has triplets who are 6 1/2) and they were picking out gifts from them to my kids and that's what had her in a tizzy. Calling my home phone (I couldn't get the phone in time) then calling my cell (Could not get that in time either!! You would think I'd be more on the ball with my gimp leg- like having my phone handy) and leaving these frantic messages. I was glad I didn't answer. She calls later and tells me what they ended up getting- they boys already have them!
I couldn't help but laugh to myself. I just got my niece and nephews gift cards to avoid the whole nightmare.

at 215pm. Oh my!

! I'm sooo glad he's back to normal. He's a crabby sick person

So sweet!
, but tomorrow I'm definitely catching up on this thread. Oh, DisneyPhD, my husband actually didn' quite get that Madison got hurt. I hung up the phone and ran in to see what happened and he called back like "uh, you hung up on me!" The next day when he got home I said "wait till you see Madison's bruise" and he said something like "what bruise?" I reminded him and he said "I didn't know she was actually hurt." I took that as an opening to remind him that he needs to pay more attention when I talk!

Thank you all for the well wishes for our weekend trip and my 1st day back at work!
