Hi ladies. We survived the birthday party. I think all of the kids had a good time. There is a huge park/play area outside and the kids ran around like nuts. They played pin the spider on the pirate and had a treasure hunt so they could get their loot bags. I have some great pics of Jimmy and I'll download and post them later.
It did get a bit much after a few hours with 15 5/6 year olds. I came home and crashed in the recliner while DH entertained Jimmy.

We have no plans for today. I have laundry and packing to do, but other than that, we're pretty much free.

I hope you're all having a great Sunday!

nucpharm - I hope Matthew's fever goes down today!

Alice - I'm glad your kitty came home. I am a cat person and would be devestated if we ever lost one of our boys.

DisKim - Yay for your trip! I agree about not telling your in-laws!

I have to run! See you all later!

Morning all!

Matthew's fever has come down some--it was 102 this morning around 5--but he did sleep from 8-5 w/o needing any more meds. Now he's down to just over 100 and sleeping. I hope we're on the downhill portion of this--and the "Man flu" is definitely gone

Speaking of DH, I don't know if the bug he had messed with his mind, but he actually asked me this morning what I thought about adding on some more DVC pts. next year! WTH, this from mister tightwad--I was like "well, yeah, that would be great" I think the whole AKL thing pushed him over the top--we would add more on at SSR b/c we didn't want to split our membership between home resorts. WooHoo--more trips to WDW forus!!!! :cheer2:

Diskim--congrats on extending your vacation to include WDW. How fun! :cheer2:

Alice--have fun at the soccer games! :goodvibes Too bad about the chaos last night--seems to always happed when the DH's are gone, doesn't it??

lissawyn--sounds like theparty was a great success--glad Jimmy had fun!

disneydancer--Welcome!!! :welcome: this thread moves fast, so just jump in whenever you get a chance!

tasha--good luck studying for your quiz!! Keep up the good work, by the looks of it all your hard work is paying off with all those A's! :thumbsup2

Well, today is laundry day here--want to disinfect all I can. But at least it's an icky day outside, so I don't really mind having to stay inside and do chores. Hello to everyone I missed!

DisKim - your plan for your cousin's wedding sounds great! I would be so tempted to do the same thing. I mean, you're already there, the weather is great then, why not!! And with Alex's birthday the timing will work out well.

Alice28 - thanks for the code for Toys R Us, that will be a nice help for Christmas toys. BTW, Madison just asked me for her purple toy that you sent her. I, gasp, cleaned up so it's not just "out" wherever she had left it but actually put away!

Nucpharm - I hope Matthew's fever goes down. That must have been so scary to come home to last night. Neither of my kids have had a fever so far so I know I'd be just as scared as you if their first one was so high too.

Lissawynn - Glad the party was fun and I can't wait to see new photos of Jimmy! I bet he had a blast with all those kids around.

Fabumouse - I was happy to hear from DavidsCoco too. (Though I can't take credit for her reappearance!) There were a couple of people on the other thread who sort of vanished that I wonder about. Disney 1derland (or something like that) is one of them. Heard anything about her?

Yesterday was so bad it was almost funny. Henry was so crabby cause he's sick so I was holding him and on the phone with a stupid Hilton telemarketer trying to get me to take a vacation. Why I didn't hang up I don't know. Anyway, at the same time, Madison found one of those laundry sharpies and drew all over her plastic drawers in her closet, a travel neck pillow, picture frame, her Pooh toybox (that I just bought in June!), her Minnie Mouse shoes that she will be wearing for Halloween, and, here's the best part, all over the bathroom!!! She got her Nemo wall stickers, Nemo stool, toilet, and wall. Then she called me from the bathroom cause she peed on the floor! Well, worse, on her Nemo rug. It seriously happened in about 2 minutes. I was just in shock and amazement and when I tried to undress her got pee all over my hand so I just stopped, told her she needed to take off her wet clothes, clean herself and the floor cause I needed to leave the bathroom. It was either that or go insane. After my husband got home we went to Target and then out to dinner. When we got back Henry was asleep in the car but I had to change his diaper before he went to bed cause he sleeps too many hours before his first feeding. While I'm changing him Madison peed on the floor next to me. So now of course Henry is awake and insanely grouchy that he's not asleep and Madison is wet. So Joey was cleaning Madison while I was holding screaming Henry and somehow they got in a fight over something (yes, he actually argues with a 2yo) so she was crying, Henry was screaming, and my husband decides this is a good time to decide he's done parenting for the night and goes downstairs to watch the baseball game. Madison went to bed, but Henry contnued to scream for an hour. He "helped" intermittently by telling Henry to be quiet, saying something to the effect that his night was terrible, asking if I tried feeding him, and repeatedly telling me to just leave him to cry, which he knows I cannot do with a 2 month old. The kid rarely cries and has only done this screaming twice ever and I know it's cause he is sick and was up too late (he is a kid who needs to be asleep by 7pm) but according to my husband he's colicky.

Well, time to get Madison dressed and head out to the store. I have snack next week for her school so I actually have to get myself to the grocery store today.

Alice - I just wanted to say thanks for posting the code for Toys R Us. I bought all of the toys Jimmy is getting from us for Christmas. I got the Elmo toolbench, the Elmo drill and goggles, and the Sesame Street toolbelt. Here's the kicker...my order came to $74.97! Three bleepin' cents short of the $75 I needed to qualify for the discount. I ended up getting the Little People School Bus b/c Jimmy loves the school bus when his cousin gets dropped off at my dad's house.
Anyway, thanks for posting the code. With the toys and a few clothes, he's done. And, yes, I did buy some girl clothes from Gymbo. I bought a sleeper and hat for Annabel to wear home from the hospital. I also got her a really cute cotton top and bottom from one of their newer lines. I just can't bring myself to buy the frilly stuff yet.

justthat - Sorry your night was such a bust. It's kind of funny, but I can see how frustrating it must have been.

nucpharm - Glad to hear Matthew's fever is down some. Good luck with adding on the DVC points!

Whew...you miss a single day around here and you're SO FAR BEHIND!!!

Carson is temporarily in his bouncey playing with his lights ...DH is watching his Bengals play, so I'm on duty and may have to sign off, but I'll give it a go.
We're staying home today after a crazy Saturday running here and there with the girls. Warmer today and some sun so I'm encouraging everyone to get outside. DH is going to practice volleyball with Hayley - she's one of those people that everything is easy for and she has a hard time when she's not one of the best at something...volleyball is proving hard at the middle school level. It's so good for her to find something she's not so hot at, though, and I tend to get irritated with her when she gripes! She has been AWESOME with Carson this weekend and helps out so much, I can't stay grouchy with her long!

Oh, DH met with his boss's boss a few days ago - nothing spectacular. He had "heard" that DH was unhappy with his current position and wanted to know what DH's goals were. He told him what he wanted - a regional mgmt position or definitely a NON-DESK-JOB. Anyway, there is nothing currently open, but supposedly they are "working on it". We shall see. Most of all I'm ready for him to have a company car again!!! He took our 10 1/2 year old station wagon in for an oil change and the diagnosis wasn't pretty. He only uses the car to go back and forth to the train station every day, but we really need it to live until he gets a company car. I drove that dang thing every day until a year ago and I'm ready to get rid of it!

Justhat - sorry about your crazy night...Madison is really on a roll, isn't she? Every time you talk about the National Zoo, I picture my girls there when they were 3 and 5. I can even see their matching outfits, hair bows and all....ah those were the days. Hayley got her "Orange Eye" there...a stuffed wolf that she has slept with every night since. I have good memories from that zoo!

DisneyDancer - WELCOME!!! :Pinkbounc

GLT - Sorry about the insurance issue...I feel very blessed to have DH's company insurance as it is very good. I'm not paying too much for Carson's birth, thank goodness. Hope you get to find a way to Disney again soon!

Cabmom - What adorable pictures!!!!

Bellacam - Love your pitures, too. Seems like a long time ago that 2-month-old Carson was so small! And I just wanted to try to comfort you - Carson was measuring 37 weeks at 32 weeks as well. He was born at 38 1/2 weeks and was only 7 lbs 10 oz. so he definitely slowed down. His head WAS as large as predicted, though, and as it was also turned sideways a bit, he was hard to deliver. You're almost there!!

SL - Glad Lucas is feeling better!

Gems - Yahoo for DH bathing Shelby!!! You got me thinking, and I don't remember my DH doing much of that either. He pops in as we bathe Carson at night (the girls LOVE it) and that's about it. I do remember him supervising baths when the girls were like toddlers/preschool age, so maybe you'll get a break then!

Nucpharm - Oh, I'm so sorry Matthew (and DH) is so sick. That high fever stuff always scares me. Hang in there!

Alice28 - Wow, the cat came back! Hey - isn't that a song..."The cat came back the very next day..." Hmmm strange visions of my Daddy playing his guitar and singing... Oh and thanks for the TRU code - I will sit down and look over what I need later to see if I spend enough. I have to get a *#* Nintendo DS Lite for Hannah, but of course that wouldn't be included in the deal!

Tasha - Good luck and have fun planning that WDW trip! I'm sure it will be wonderful! The girls and I are absolutely itching to go back, but we'll be waiting until Carson is two as well. It will be a LONG wait for us!! Can't wait to hear how your trip goes as I will take notes!

Diskim - Good for you in deciding to take a week off and enjoy your family time. Have fun planning and I don't see anything wrong in keeping a little side WDW trip a secret. My mom happened to "pop in" on our two WDW trips, but she was very nice about it and only stayed one day and paid for all of our food and treats for the kids!

Ok, I have to go....Carson lasted longer than expected. Hope you ladies have a great Sunday and a wonderful start to the new week. Enjoy the fall weather! :)

hi Mommies!

Alice - I love the new pics! Your parent's house does look like a blast for the kids. For your shower, yes, I would have to do food too. Just a couple of snacks like you said. Thanks for the toys r us code, I'll have to go check that out. I hope the soccer games go well today. I wouldn't want to go to a soccer game at 9 am either. That's great that your kitty is back, poor thing!

lissawynn - Cute new picture of Jimmy! I'm glad the bday party was fun!

nucpharm - I'm glad Matthew's fever is down. How scary! I would have died if they said "wait for a seizure"! Woo hoo on the adding more DVC points! How exciting!

justthat - OMG, you poor thing! I'm so sorry your DH is so unhelpful. Did the marker clean up or is it on there for good?

diskim - Yeah! What a great opportunity to sneak a few days in at WDW! I agree with everyone else, don't tell your family!!! :)

disneydancer - Welcome and congratulations!!

tasha - I'm sure your disney trip will be a blast! Good work with school!

gem - Happy Birthday to Shelby! She'll be walking before you know it! I'm not sure what's more work though, carrying them or chasing them! ;)

val - Sorry about your computer problems!

SL - Where there any rides that Lucas hated in WDW? I'm trying to make a little list of "must sees" for Tyler to do. Did you do dark rides like Peter Pan and Snow White?

glt - So, what DO women want for Christmas? A couple hour break sounds great!

fabumouse - Those tights sound adorable!

bellacam - Your nephew is adorable! I love Aiden at the pumpkin patch!

ginamarie - Kermit, what a cute idea! I bet she'll be adorable!

jill - Hi

I'm working today and DH dropped Tyler off at his sister's so she he could go fishing.

We had a great day yesterday. My girlfriend's aunt and uncle have a farm and they invited a bunch of people over for hayrides and pumpkin picking. They had 2 tractors and wagons and TONS of pumpkins in their field. I bet there were 70 people there and each kid got at least 2 pumpkins. They also had food (pot luck), sack races, pinatas, an inflatable jumper, pumpkin painting, 4 wheeler rides, and little goody bags for each kid. It was crazy!
Tyler had a blast.

I've decided that were are going to do some family pictures when I get Tyler's 18 month pictures taken. Now, being the girl that I am, I have to decide what we are going to wear! LOL. How do you all feel about matching? I can't decide if it's goofy or not to all wear the same color.

I should get back to work and eat some lunch.

hi to everyone I missed!!

Tamie

Hi again! On my way from cleaning the bathroom to the laundry room to start clothes. I pass the office on the way and I am drawn like a magnet... ;)

Tykes- I never know about those family portraits either. I was really happy with our last one...I wore a white sweater, DH wore a blue/white striped polo, and the DD's wore matching white shirts with denim jackets/jeans. It turned out to be a great combo. I always wonder about matching as well, but I do see some cute ones. What a great idea! We need to think about having a picture made or at least taken by a friend as none of the family photos include Carson!

Ok, gotta really do some laundry and vacuum upstairs. :wave2:

Fabumouse- I’d be really pleased if they have the cruise itineraries out by the end of the year. Although since we’re paying for our Disney trip at the end of the year, it might be better for me financially if the dates didn’t come out until February! We’re probably going to look for a couple of Category 10s, because I really loved having the split bathroom/shower set up, and they’re just a little more expensive than the 11s. We had four category 10s on deck 5 last time. We book directly through DH’s employee program with Disney. I think it works out to a small discount on top of the early booking discount that everyone gets, but our tips get included in the cruise fare. What type of cabins are you guys looking into?

Alice- I’m so glad your cat made it home safely. Most cats are pretty resilient outside. I know I’ve seen lost cat posters up a few blocks home, and there’s been a black cat that looks like the one in the poster walking across my property every few days, but I can’t seem to catch him. I left some food out for him the other day too. I feel badly because I can’t give these people their cat back, but he looks healthy, and at least I made sure he’s still eating!

GLT- DH was a complete grump last night after the Mets game. It was just AWFUL!

DisKim- Lucky you for getting to take an extra trip to WDW. The wedding sounds like it will be beautiful.

Nucpharm- I’m glad Matthew is doing better. It’s so hard to see the little guys sick!

Justhat- OMG it sounds like you had a doozy of a night. My DSis went through a stage like that where she was completely into spilling things and writing all over things. Hopefully she’ll get out of it soon.

Lissawynn- Before Olivia was born I didn’t think I’d get into the frilly dresses either (I’m so NOT a girly girl), but once she was born and I got to dress her up every day I got a lot more into it.

Tykes- I go through phases where I think matching clothes is cute and then sometimes I think it’s cheesy. All of the professional photos we’ve taken we wound up deciding against matching, but I’ve seen matching photos by other people that I’ve really loved. Sorry, I know that doesn’t help much!!

OK, just a short update from me since I wound up writing so much about everyone else’s posts. We successfully added SIL to our reservations at WDW. She’s only coming for Saturday through Tuesday, but we have a lot of good things planned for that time. I was able to add her to our reservations for our Cape May clambake, Hoop de Doo and Rose and Crown for fish and chips and Illuminations. I’m in such a Disney mood today! Oh, and my mom bought us one of those blow up decorations with a giant Pooh and Tigger dressed up for Halloween, that they were clearing out at BJs already. We already blew it up so that Olivia could look at it.

DH is in a good mood because it’s his day off. He’s cleaning the office area, which still has a bunch of unpacked boxes in it. He’s bothering me about the Kermit costume though, because he thinks it’s a “boy’s costume.” I don’t know why, but he’s always so afraid that people are going to think she’s a boy if she’s dressed in blue or not wearing girly things. OK, going to do some more work and get some spaghetti cooked for dinner.

I am stressing out this afternoon and I am not sure why. I am just irritable. Ever have those days? I'm mad at myself for my spending habits for one. I still sometimes feel like I am 12 and it's allowance day when it's payday....I'm so not a saver and I really need to switch gears now that our debt is under control.

I'm glad the TRU coupon code helped some of you out.I ordered 3 items, and of course, 2 of the items TRU is now saying are out of stock and they will be back ordered. Great. These items were only released today (Star Wars light sabers that are spring loaded)- I guess they were a super hot seller. I only hope they are back in stock before Christmas. I wrote out everything I ordered for the boys, and I think I am done. I didn't want to spend more than $75 per kid this year, as we always go way overboard between us, the grandparents and other relatives. The kids can't even think of that many things to ask for! Anything I don't buy them, their grandparents will, so I'm just going to reign it in.

I got irriated at DH cause I said something about spending $300-400 more the next two months for Christmas, and he's all, "I thought you said you were done with the boys." I was like, "Um, there's still Molly, my parents, your mom, the triplets, and each other." Duh.

Tamie- I don't like totally matchy- matchy for portraits, but I do like coordinating.

Justhat- Oh no about the marker all over! Madison is on a holy terror roll, isn't she!?!?! I totally sympathize with you

lissawynn- I hate it when you are only a few cents under the minimum for free shipping, or a discount, etc. That happens to me all the time. Glad you found something cute for DD; I'm not into the totally fru-fru either, but I do like girl stuff! I just can't dig ruffles and big, big frilly dresses and such.

GM- I think Kermit sounds like a darling costume, for a girl or boy! And yum, fish and chips at Rose and Crown sound delicious right now.

Diz- I know what you mean about the computer being a magnet! I hope your DH gets a company car soon!

Nucpharm- congratulations on possibly adding on more DVC points! Very nice!

The soccer games went fine. I bribed Molly with Skittles. I ran to Costco between the two games (I actually did Costco in less than 30 minutes with all 3 kids in tow!). Good deal on candy there if you got the coupon book last week- $4 off a box of Skittles, M&Ms, Starburst, etc- there's 30 bars and it comes to $7. I got two for the boy's classrooms and to pass out on Halloween, (since we get all of 5 trick or treaters). I was probably going to spend $10-12 on the mini kind anyway, so I thought this was a bargain!

Well, I am going to attempt to put Molly down for a nap again- she refused an hour ago and threw everything out of her crib and got herself undressed and was just SCREAMING. Cute.

Happy Sunday! :sunny:

Poor Kailey woke up yesterday with a cold - she couldn't go to soccer, missed apple picking with a friend and isn't going to school tomorrow. I'm just so grateful right now that Madeleine isn't showing any signs of catching it.

Robin - your poor poor kitty! How can anyone hate RFC?? It's cheesy, but in such a good 'n cheesy way! Sorry you didn't get the gymbo holiday stuff - I'm sure you'll make up for it. :teeth:

ETA - we posted at the same time. So, I mean, I'm sure you won't make up for it because you are going to show the self-restraint of a . . .of a. . . shoot, does anybody have self-restraint anymore?

GLT - I have to admit, every time I got a bill from the hospital or the doctor from Madeleine's birth, I cringed before opening it. $5000 for this, $13,000 for that. :sad2: I worry about all those people who have NO insurance.

So, what DO we women want for Christmas??

J&D - those are all great ideas! I've never done the candy thing in Japan.

Tasha - Kailey had a fever of 106 when she was 3! She had no other problelms - no seizures or confusion, she was just a bit lethargic and very very hot. I don't think I even called the doctor because he had been useless up until then anyhow. Thanks for the encouragement on taking Madeleine when she's 14 months - I'm even more excited now for the trip. How did the studying go?

Justhat - I think Disney 1nderland was one of the people I tried to find and didn't see any posts after her last mommy to be post. It is nice that everyone seems to have come through it all pretty well, even though having babies can be so scary. :teeth:

And what is it with men just giving up on childcare??? My DH is wonderful about a lot of things, but he'll do that too - he'll bring the child back to me - "she won't quit crying" . . .. er - that's why I needed a break from her, you fool. And more than 30 seconds! I hope he feels guilty and makes it up to you. Oh, and I hope that Madison quits peeing on everything.

Dizagain - I'm crossing my fingers that your DH gets that non-desk job. :thumbsup2

Tkyes - what a fun day you had!! I haven't even picked up a pumpkin from the grocery store. :sad2:

Ginamarie - I think we're going to get 2 category 5's on Deck 7. We'll have 5 people for sure, and possibly 6 if my FIL changes his mind about going. I want the verandah because DD gets motion sick, and it has to be on a quiet part of the ship because both girls are light sleepers, and I really don't need to have exhausted kids all week.

When do we get to make exact room number requests?? When we book?

And I never thought we'd do the frilly dress thing either, because that is so not me - but because Kailey enjoys it so much, it's fun to indulge her (especially like today, when I picked up a frilly dress from Costco for $19, so I don't mind if she wears it as playclothes). However - I leave it all to her, and since she likes dinosaurs as well, she's had plenty of dinosaur clothes in the past. :thumbsup2 Enjoy your dinner.

I've never seen Kona's name so much in one day. We've been watching the news of the earthquake in Kona.

DH and I were just shocked because he had talked about going there to watch the Ironman this year, which is next week. Something always goes wrong for him. He didn't believe me when I told him there was an earthquake in Kona. It would be really something if they cancel the Ironman next Saturday.

Hi to everyone! We are relaxing here. :wave2:

Well, I made it to the pumpkin patch today but DH couldn't come because of his homework. I really missed him and felt bad he couldn't go. We were going to try a new place but I went to the old one since I was alone with the kids and I know where it is. They have animals to feed there too. I had a lot of fun with the kids, but we skipped the hayride and decided to do one next week with Daddy. Then, we went to MIL's for dinner since they haven't seen the kids in so long. Aidan was so cute. He walked in their house, went directly to FIL and put his head on his shoulder for the longest time.

Tkyes - Wow, the farm sounds like a lot of fun!! My kids would love that!

Robin - Thanks for the code. I'm going to check out TRU and see what I can pick up. I'm trying to be good this year, but I could never keep it to $75 per kid. I'm a terrible spender.

justhat - Oh my goodness, I think I would have gone insane if I had a day like you had. Madison is really testing you lately. Does it help if I say it will soon pass and before you know it Madison will be grown and you'll be joking about these times with her. Emily used to throw terrible tantrums when she was 3. She would scream and throw up in the mall if she didn't get her way. It was awful. Now, I just tell her these stories and tease her about it. It will get better  .

Robin - I'm glad the soccer games went well. I bribe Aidan with food too. I brought tons of snacks to Alex's game, but he ate all my friend's crackers. He doesn't even like crackers, but I think he liked them because they were hers.

dizagain - I hope the job works out for your DH.

Well, I better get the kids to bed. Have a great night!

Alice- bribing kids with candy always seems to work ;) Olivia wasn't great about napping today either. It's funny because the days when I leave her with my mom and grandma she naps about 2 hours while she's there. I don't know why she won't do that for me!

Fabumouse- Yes, you get to pick your room when you book. I always take a look at the deck plans and try to decide which rooms I'd like best. If you have someone with motion sickness you're best bet is midship. Midship is also good because you're in the middle of everything. I'm pretty sure we were on deck 5 last time too. It was convenient.. a little bit of a walk up to the pool deck, but we ate so much that the extra exercise was a good thing.

FloridaFam- I heard about that earthquake. I hope that things are ok over there.. it's been so tough to get any information about the actual conditions after the quake.

DH was very helpful today. We got some more cleaning done in the office/spare bedroom so that we're down to only a couple of random boxes in there. I also finished a motion that's been haunting me. :woohoo:

OK, going to watch some Amazing Race and get ready for bed. Tomorrow's a super-busy day, so I'm trying to get to bed early!

Molly never napped today, the little stinker! Can we say 7:30 bedtime? I think that will be the case.

Fab- My DH pretty much rolls his eyes at anything that is overly PC or tries to shove an 'agenda' down your throat. He tells our kids, "Just call it a jungle, not a rain forest.' And he's eaten there more often than I have, as he went once or twice in Vegas and he's just never had a meal he liked. (although he did admit the grilled chicken sand he got last time was good). The topper was when we went to Seattle RIGHT when he got back from Iraq- some of the ladies will remember this- his FIRST time driving our car, we were driving from our hotel to the mall where the RFC was....he got pulled over and ticketed for not wearing his seatbelt. He was so pi$$ed as the officer wouldn't even let him say, "I'm so sorry officer, I just served 18 months overseas and we didn't wear seatbelts in our Hummers- I am out of the habit"- the officer just said, "I don't need you to say a word." So, our meal at RFC was not a happy one. :sad2:

OK, that was a long-winded explanation!

Kim- if it makes you feel any better, I got all that stuff on sale for the boys- it's at least $110 worth of stuff each. I know when they all get older, it won't be so easy. But Sam's bday is 3+ weeks before Christmas, so he seriously runs out of things to ask for. And like I said, my mom and my MIL buy them 3-4 things each too, so I just have told myself to hold back this year. Last year 75% of what they got for Christmas sat unplayed with by March. I sold a lot of the Lego stuff on ebay for some decent money for Disneyland money for them.

FF- that is so unreal at what happened in Hawaii today! I wonder if they will cancel the Ironman- I should turn on the TV and watch some footage. I will be sad I am sure as we had such a wonderful vacation in Kona some years ago.

Tamie- I meant to comment earlier that it sounds like you had such a fun day yesterday! I bet Tyler was just delighted!

Well, hopefully DH will be home soon. I have been fighting a headache all day and it's just dreary here. I am putting myself on a spending hiatus for 2 weeks except for groceries next week and $40 for my Coldwater Creek trip (MIL's gift card covers everything else). Wish me luck that I can do it! :wizard:

Hello, hello.

The pumpkin patch was pretty chilly and things were really picked over. Here are a few pictures. I just couldn't get that damn pacifier out of his mouth. I'm going to have a terrible time taking that away from him. I haven't decided when I'm going to attempt that, though. Anyway...

Game night last night was fun. Half the people my sister invited cancelled so it ended up being us, my friends, and my parents.

Gem - Congrats on your DH bathing Shelby!! ;)

glt - I haven't organized my WDW pictures yet. I plan on scrapbooking the trip. We brought DH's video camera wire and plugged my camera into the TV and gave everyone a slideshow. Hope you enjoyed your day!

val - Sorry to hear about your computer. Hope it's fixed soon.

Alice28 - Having an additional hot appetizer is a good idea. Mini quiches sound good or maybe some sort of hot dip? DisKim's kielbasa recipe was a hit at Lucas' birthday party. Glad your cat came home.

nucpharm - Oh, no! I hope Matthew feels better soon. Those high fevers are so scary.

ginamarie - Olivia will be adorable as kermit! My DH would flip - he LOVES the muppets. I hope you can post pictures!

fabumouse - Glad you enjoyed your walk. I had a Bjorn for Lucas but only used it a handful of times. He didn't like being confined in it. He's a free spirit. :teeth:

J&D - Have a great week. We'll be missing your posts!

Tasha - I'm sure Kylie will be great at WDW. For some reason, Lucas freaked out at both our local amusement park and the local fair, but was an angel at WDW. It must be all the pixie dust.

DisKim - The plan for your cousin's wedding sounds great! You deserve a nice vacation.

lissawynn - Hope you're feeling better.

justhat - :grouphug: I hope today was better than yesterday.

dizagain - I hope something good comes out of your DH's meeting.

tkyes - Lucas was ok on all the rides, but he didn't like the fireworks, parades, and shows like the muppets 3D or Philharmagic. We took him on Pirates (twice), Pooh, Peter Pan, Small World, Great Movie Ride, Imagination, Spaceship Earth, and Rio Del Tiempo. We skipped Snow White and Haunted Mansion because we thought the theme would be kind of scary for him (yet we brought him on Pirates, so I'm not sure what the logic was there).

floridafam - :wave2:

Hope everyone else is having a good weekend. I have to go back to work tomorrow and I'm absolutely dreading it. I'll probably have nightmares about it tonight.

Hey Ladies,

Robin - I am glad that your kitty came back, we have a house cat (long story) and he managed to escape past me the other day, he was out nearly all day roaming and I was so worried that he would get hit by another car. Luckily he came back safely. :)

SL - I love the pics of Lucas! I was thinking about maybe trying to get rid of the paci now too, but I don't know if I have the energy to attempt it right now what with everything else I have going on?!

Fabmouse - Do you hav eto pay all of those mediacal bills? How much does the birth total in the US? I guess that we are lucky in the UK that we have the National Health Service and don't have to pay for stuff like that.

Nuchpharm - I hope Matthew is feeling better! I have really started something with calling it Man Flu haven't i! :lmao:

Lissa - Can't wait to see more pics of Jimmy! He is such a cutie!

Justhat - SOrry that you are getting a hard time from Madison and your DH, I am afraid that Men just don't get it at all. All women are super human and can deal with everything! Take care! :grouphug:

Hi to all the other mommies that I missed.

:dance3:

Heads Up Ladies!

Most of the Christmas Exchange Buddy PMs have gone out this morning, I think there are four that I am just waiting on further information from and as soon as I get that I shall PM it out to the relvant buddy!

I just wanted to recap on a couple of things for those who like me are a bit forgetful or have a lot on their plates! ;)

Please mail your package by the 19th November to allow for Christmas postage delays etc.

It would be nice to wrap the gifts to make this exchange that little bit more special!

Your exchange gift should cost no less than $15 not including the postage and packing

A few people have listed more than one child, the majority decided to exchange for just the babies on the thread, but I have included other children it's up to you then which kids you include! - woo hope that made sense!

Please PM me when you have mailed your package so that I can try  to keep track of where I am with things!!

If there are any questions or anything please PM me!

Most Important Rule of the Exchange

HAVE FUN!!!

Ok ladies Let the Shopping Begin! :dance3: :moped:

Morning! Looks like a cloudy blah day here. Carson has been spoiling me by sleeping from about 9-3:30 or so at night, but last night he went back to his old ways and we were up several times. About 3 he was tossing and turning and grumbling a little but I ignored for quite a bit - then when I checked him he had spit up all over him, down his neck, etc. I felt so bad  . I went upstairs to get clean jammies, started changing him, and he spit up again...back upstairs for more jammies!

Well, Hannah-and-company were at it again yesterday. At one point I looked out front and they had cardboard boxes everywhere like they were building a house or something. Then they all disappeared, leaving packing peanuts blowing all over the yard. :confused3 . She then called me from her friend's house wanting to go to Target with their mom...I told her she could go as soon as she came home and cleaned up the mess. She said, "Oh, yeah. We forgot we did that. One of the boxes had peanuts in it but we didn't know!" It took quite a bit of do-overs before they got those peanuts up. By that time all the mulch around the bushes was all over the front walk because they used the rake and broom on the peanuts...luckily DH did not see until it was fixed :rolleyes1 .

Oh and a DH temper-tantrum story...We ordered Papa John's for dinner - we NEVER order from there. Anyway, when it arrived and DH presented the check, the guy said they only take cash :confused3, something the girl on the phone never mentioned when she took my order. So DH argues a bit and the boy says he can call in a cc# if we want. DH gets irritated over little things so he just gets furious and says "No thanks" and closes the door on the guy and his pizza. Well, he's slamming into the kitchen and I reminded him that the poor kid wasn't at fault...he ran after him and apologized (according to Hannah whom I sent to spy and report back  ). They stayed outside awhile and I guess he called in a credit card and returned with the pizza. He actually felt TERRIBLE and asked me how I live with him and his crazy self....sometimes I'm not sure, but I guess I love the guy!

Gems - Thanks for organizing the Christmas exchange!! I can't wait!! Oh and whoever gets my name, please don't feel you need to worry about the girls - I just listed them as it's my first time!! I'm excited!

Oh and Gems, don't sweat the paci thing - it will disappear eventually, I promise!!! I think you and Shelby will have enough to deal with!!

SL - you are on a roll with the precious pictures!!! Lucas is adorable with or without that thing hanging out of his mouth - just think, you'll have MANY more pumpkin patch pictures to come without it and someday you'll just love these and say "awww...wasn't that cute?" I am speaking from experience, here!!

Alice28 - Here's hoping Molly naps away for you today! You're too funny about your DH and his anti "Agenda" stuff....mine is the SAME WAY!!! Of course, I wouldn't have enjoyed RFC if a cop did that to me either...

Ginamarie - your cruise excitement makes me excited for you too!!! Glad your house is looking more like a home!

Diskimm - sounds like a fun day with the kids!

Fabumouse - hope Kailey feels better and you can keep Madeleine well!!! Carson's first cold wasn't TOO bad and he's finally breathing better...I HATE that stupid suction thing, feels like you're sucking their brains out or something.

Justhat - Hoping Madison has her halo on today! ;)

Well, hi to everyone...the boy is NOT HAPPY and has been ignored long enough!

WEll, I think I jinxed myself yesterday by saying Matthew was getting better. After I posted his fever kept going up again. I took Emma to my parents for a little break, and so she could get some attention as well. Then I returned to find my little boy buring up again. After he got some more Ibu. he was playing like he was just fine--then he woke us up at 2 again screaming and burning up. He felt nice and cool this am when he woke up and now is napping comfortably. If his fever spikes at all today, I'm headed to the doctor's office.

Well, it's a cruddy rainy day here today. We were supposed to go to the state fair this morning, kids and their parents get in free today and can ride the kiddie rides for free as well. But with Matthew sick I had to cancel, but I guess we would have anyway b/c of the rain.

Better jump in the shower while I have a chance. Hope everyone's week starts out good! Sorry I haven't responded to anyone and keep whining about our troubles--hope you ladies don't mind!

Thank you Gems, I got my buddy's name! :thumbsup2

And I cannot remember what info I told Gems- if you got me, please just shop for Molly. Don't worry about my boys unless you just want to add a candy or something. (they get PLENTY of other stuff, trust me).

Diz- sounds like you had a 'fun' time prodding Hannah to clean up! Why does it sometimes take 15 times of reminding before something like that gets done? :confused3 That's a funny story about your DH- sometimes our guys do nutty things.

SL- more cute pics of Lucas!

Gina- glad you are almost done with the unpacking! That's great!

Nucpharm- Awww.....poor Matthew! I wonder what's going on? :grouphug: to you and to him.

Anyway, nothing planned here today! Hope you all have a super Monday.
