I LOVE the pics SL - keep 'em coming! I love Lucas's face with Marry Poppins. What a flirt! I think I'll run to target today and get the harness thing. Then we can try it around the mall or something to get him used to it.

tasha - Sorry you are so stressed. I know it's hard to imagine, but you are doing a good thing for Kylie!! Hang in there!!

nucpharm - So do you think Jeffrey will go or stay on Project Runway? I think he stays. Should be a good season finale.

jill - Sorry your babysitter had an emergency. I hope everything's ok. I hope John is an angel for you today!

alice - I would have been really shocked if Emmitt was eliminated last night. I think he'll go far. I know she (I assume everyone has watched it, but just incase) wasn't very well known, but she was doing a great job, IMO.

Tyler is playing by himself and I'm not sure I like the noises I'm hearing. I need to go see what he's gotten into!

have a great day everyone!

tamie

GLT- The Mets game was rained out, so you didn’t miss much :)

Tasha- Congrats on all those As! I’m going through a lot of the same stress as you are with trying to balance things lately, so I sympathize 100% I just have to keep telling myself that it’s hard now, but it’s the best thing I can do for the long run.

Jill- Too bad we’ll miss each other at WDW! I’ll probably be so sad to leave on the 19th while you guys are just starting your vacation. I always hate the day when we have to leave!

I forgot to mention, in addition to losing the power yesterday I had another surprise when I got home. My neighbors from across the street just put their house up for sale. Now I’m afraid of what kind of new neighbors we’re going to get!

I’ll check back in later. Have a great day moms.

Morning! I only have one hand as the other is full of a certain little boy, but I had to tell you that it is snowing hard and sticking!!!! So strange! Anyway, be back later to chat! :)

We just got back from the ped for Henry's 2 month check up. He's so big that it kinda makes me sad cause I already miss having a tiny baby. He was 24.5 inches and 14.2 pounds. His ped said she thinks he can skip the rsv vaccine since he's so big already. Reminded me of Jill's fiasco with that thing last year. I premedicated with Tylenol for the first time ever (I always forgot with Madison so she had to wait till we got home) and I really think it made a difference cause he slept through the first 2 shots and just minimally cried through the second 2 and went back to sleep right after nursing a bit. Then again, I might just have weird kids cause Madison just watches them draw blood from her arm, do ppd tests, etc.

I have to pick up the terror in a few minutes. My goal tonight is to have them both asleep at 7. My husband is on overnight call so I would like to relax and watch my Thursday night tv in peace. Of course since Henry slept all night Tuesday night he had to make up for it last night. So even though I went to bed at 8:30, I was up at 9, 1:30, 2:45, 4, 5:30, and then 6 for the day. Oh, and throw in another couple of times when Madison asked to come in my bed, I said no, then hearing her ask my husband (who does not wake easily so there were a couple of minutes of "Daddy? Daddy? Joey? Daddy?" over and over), then hearing my husband complain that she was kicking him (shouldn't have let her in the bed!), etc. So I think I am actually more tired than I was yesterday with just 5 hours of sleep.

I didn't realize so many other moms will be in WDW the same time as us. Now I'm happy that my husband was so persistant in going! Maybe I'll get to meet some of you, even if it's just a quick hi. I guess I should make plans for that today, including a resort and the ADRs, since I know it will be getting crowded by our last day so things will be booked already I'm sure.

justhat- I had a 'fun' night with Molly last night too. For whatever reason, she started crying at 3, kicking me at 4, put her back in her crib, then she said "Momma, Mommy, Momma" over and over and over and over........I finally went back and grabbed her, and she fell asleep in our bed. That lasted about, oh, a good 2 hours. What the heck!?!?!? DH got Sam up and off to school for me this AM, so that was kind.

SL- More great pics of Lucas! I really love the siggie pic with his tongue out- that cracks me up! :teeth:

Tasha- I am so sorry you are struggling so much right now- I know how hard of a juggling act it is. It's so hard to know when is the best time to do things like that, you know? My mom went to school a lot when I was growing up. She went part time and got her BS (in nursing) while I was in elementary school and got her masters when I was in high school. And wow, did it pay off for her career wise! You are in a great field, that will be very rewarding both emotionally and financially in the long run. Just my .02, but I would think it would be easier to just try and get it out of the way now, while you just have Kylie, and then have another baby when you are done. I know I just couldn't handle going back to school for the teaching/master's program when I found out I was pregnant with Sam, so hats off to you! and Jill! and SL!

Jill- I hope they place you in a school ASAP! And that your sitter's emergency wasn't too serious.

Diz- I can't believe you have snow in mid-October! Wow!

GM- hope you get decent neighbors- who knows, maybe you will really hit it off!

Tamie- I thought Sarah Evans would be the one to go- she just didn't seem to have that extra flair or something to me. All the other dancers seemed shocked that Willa was voted off...

lissawynn- how did your appt go?

Kim- how is your Aunt? Any better?

No big plans for us today. Just laundry. :laundy:

Hi Everyone,

It seems as if i'm so out of the loop - this thread has been moving lightning fast and i've been so busy that I can't seem to keep up. I'll do my best for a quick update:

SL - WELCOME BACK! I was wondering when you were going to be back. I just love the pictures, esp. the one of you and Lucas at Le Cellier. Looks like you all had a great time!!! I stayed at POFQ for a quick 3 night trip in the fall of 2004 and we didn't run into the housekeeping issues you seem to have experienced. Hope they improve on that because it's a nice resort!

Ryan840 - I am so sorry to hear about your Grandmother. :grouphug:

Tamie - I voted for Willa twice, Jerry Twice, and Emmett Twice. I felt bad that Willa got voted off, because she seemed to be working so hard at the show. I really like Sara Evans as a singer, but I think she's the worst dancer out there - she's so stiff. I like Jerry's partner Kim, that's part of the reason I keep voting for them.

Tasha - hang in there! :grouphug: We all have our days where we feel completely overwhelmed and wonder how we'll ever find a minute in our day to have a life with our family. My husband is itching to go back to school to get another Master's degree, and I told him not until the kids are a little older. When he was getting his Masters Degree it was very chaotic with everything we had going on. Hope things get better for you soon - and never, EVER worry about venting to us!!!!! :grouphug:

Jill - it was just starting to rain here so I only got in 1.5 miles of the 3.1 we had hoped! Thanks for asking! You sound sooooo busy - I bet you can't wait for Winter Break! Glad to hear you're in for '08 though - can't wait to meet you and the kids!!! :Pinkbounc Does your husband golf by the way? My husband has always wanted to golf in WDW but he just needs a golfing buddy!

Gottalovethem - SNOW!!!!! WOW! It's too early for that! Good luck finding some warm gloves and coats!

Diskim - Continued prayers for your aunt! :grouphug:

Lissawynn - hope you're still feeling good today. WTG on finishing grading all of the papers! :woohoo:

Gems - How are you feeling? Do you feel your baby boy kicking a lot???

Ginamarie - we were looking forward to watching the Mets game, but it really poured here. It was really sad hearing about Cory Lidle - I still can't believe no one else was hurt or killed in that accident - so scary!

Ginamarie - Sorry to hear about your power going off. :grouphug:

Nucpharm - Did you have a nice day out with your friends yesterday? LOL that it edited out your word on your last post for "TV".

Joats - HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!! :cheer2: :cool1: :goodvibes

Dizagain - Can't believe you have snow today also!!!!!!! WOW!

Robin - our kitty had really bad ear mites also - GROSS! They went away but it took about 3 weeks of that gross medicine! I hope she comes back and you're able to take her to the Doctor!

Justine - sorry you had such a horrible night with Henry. Those nights where you're up 5-6 times are mind-numbing!

Welcome Pooh Angel!! :cool1:

Hi to J & D, Bellacam, DisneyPhD, Floridafam, Loretta, fabumouse, Gretchen, Val, Buzznbelle, and all the mommies!

I may not be on much this weekend - i'm seeing Nick Lachey tomorrow, and then we're going to be running all weekend and taking a 1 night trip to PA after Kevin's soccer on Saturday AM. I will update at some point in a few days, hopefully with pictures!

Hillbeans - I thought of you this morning when I saw Nick on the View. He was on and I figured you'd be going to the city to see him today or tomorrow since he is there! Have fun and remember lots of pics!!!

My DH's cousin called us last night, she is my age (38) and has been trying to get pregnant with her second baby for 6.5 years. They could never pinpoint why she was not getting pregnant again and she was having fertility shots the past 2 years....and she is 4 weeks pregnant! It could be twins or more because of those shots but oly time will tell. Her son will be 7.5 when this baby is born. Hearing her announcement makes me miss when I made mine!

Dizagain- I can't believe you have snow already! We had lots and lots of rain yesterday, but it's in the 60s today.

Justhat- I would get working on those ADRs for sure. I recently changed a couple of mine for 12-18 and 12-19, and although I was able to get reservations they weren't necessarily for the times I wanted. The good thing is that now I'm too afraid to try to switch them around again, so I can't keep second guessing my selections.

Alice- I'm going to keep my fingers crossed for good neighbors. I just found the house listed on the multi-listing website and it's priced pretty low, so they must be really ready to move. In hindsight, I should have suspected something when I saw all of the extra maintenance and them cleaning out the garage, etc. I just thought it was their "autumn cleaning" though.

Hillbeans- The Cory Lidle thing was pretty scary. I caught a glimpse of the news report as I was walking out of class and saw that it was a plane crash uptown. DH works uptown so I was worried about him for awhile, it it was 6 blocks or so away from him. I still can't imagine how it's so easy for planes to fly in over Manhattan like that when it's supposed to be a "no fly" zone.

Hey all--just a quick message--for some reason unknown to me, we received a second of the prints that DVC is sending out to members b/c of the 15th anniversary. I guess when DH changed our address they sent another one to this address as well--anyway, if anyone is interested in it, please shoot me a PM and I'll get it in the mail to you. I would feel guility putting it up on Ebay since we were only supposed to get one anyway. I could also post a pic if anybody is interested.

I'm way behind today. I got a call from my sitter today. Aidan developed a fever today. He had still been coughing and woke up gagging last night. I called the doctor on Monday and he just told me to give him Albuterol. I'm going to take him back in today :guilty: . Well, I'm going to fly out of here since the bell just rang and I'm anxious to get Aidan. I'll try to catch up later but probably won't since DH is working tonight.

SL - great pics I forgot to mention that! You look like you all had such a good time. And I have a question for you and all the other moms, if you know....so after reading your post where you mentioned the baby swap - we have never done this because I too, thought we'd have to wait in line and then take turns on the ride. So what you're saying is, if the ride has baby swap, you guys got in the Fastpass line and by-passed the entire line and THEN rode taking turns? There was a TR a few months ago where a woman eluded to this, that there is a way to ride a ride 2 times without two fastpasses and I could never figure it out! So this is it??? I am losing it that we never knew about this! Tell me its true!

zalansky - We only used the baby swap for Soarin and this is how it worked for us: DH and I had fastpasses (we got them when we first got there b/c we didn't know if we'd need them or not) and went up to the fastpass entrance. We told the CM we needed to do the baby swap and he sent me in the fastpass line (I had the fastpass) and gave DH what was basically a fastpass ticket with no time on it. DH waited until I got off, then went in the fastpass line. We both had to wait in the line with the regular fastpass people before we could ride. I imagine that if you had no fastpasses, the first person would have to wait in the standby line and the 2nd could go in the fastpass line.

Good afternoon, all! Once again, I only have a minute--Luke is awake, I think, but not screaming for now, so I'll ignore him! I have two apple pies in the oven--silly me, I had told the kids I would make them, and went so far as takng the dough out of the freezer, so then I had to use it up. It sure smells good here, though!

I think DH is getting himself really overworked and stressed--we got into a fight last night, that I didn't feel like having, so I jsut shut up. Then this morning, we were able to talk like rational human beings. We're both exhausted--Luke's still not sleeping through the night, and his work just keeps getting worse and worse. They shipped out a bunch of people to work on a problem elsewhere, leaving the guys here to do even more to cover their load, and a new problem came up yesterday (they called him twice on his "sick day"!). And I really feel for him, because he's trying so hard and they like him and he's very competent at what he does. But he's becomign a monster to live with--snapping at the kids and me, forgetting to do his chores, which means I have to pick up the slack, and then he gets mad when I treat him like a kid. But if he acts like one more person I have to pick up after, he's just liek another kid. But truly, it comes down to being overtired and overworked.

Okay, rant over.

Robin--Your kitty may turn up yet. We had one disappear for over 6 weeks, then show up on the patio like he was never gone. That one still disappears for days at a time, and he's 13! He'll be around more when the snow flies.

Speaking of which, that snow will be hitting us tomorrow, dizagain and glt. Gee, it's like it just left!

SL--LOVE your pictures! Lucas is just so adorable, and looks like he had a great time. Nice to see he's charming the ladies already!

I have to run, Luke realized I'm ignoring him, and Celeste needs all the sleep she can get--she's really been a "Dictator Tot", as we like to call it. One of these days I'll catch up! Hi to everyone else!

FF & nucpharm - did you see the news about AKL??? I am totally psyched! Even though that resort did not really appeal to us I am more excited for that than the Contemporary. It will be exciting to see.

Hi Moms!

I see some of you are going to be at WDW around the same time I'll be there. We are staying offsite in a villa. Our dates right now are the 18th to the 25th of March/07. I'm not sure how many days we'll be at Disney, but would love to meet up with you. Maybe we could make a dinner date outside of the parks?

I've been feeling a little blue about having to go back to work next month. I know Dean will be fine and so will I. It's just the thought of going back to work and not doing all the daily things we do together! My niece will be babysitting Dean and I'm very confident it will all go well. It seems like I have so much to do before I go back to work. :sad1:

Anyway, we have a one night trip booked to go to The Great Wolf Lodge in Niagara Falls at the end of this month. All the boys are really looking forward to that little trip. Of course they keep asking when we are going to Disney again. I really wish money grew on trees. We have a front porch that totally needs to be rebuilt as well! UGH!

Hi to everyone!

Marilynn

What news????? Is this one a "for sure thing"??!! If it is--I'm totally there!!! We loved AKL on our last trip, and I would love to stay there again, especially if it's with DVC!!!

Hi mommy!

I just had to share. I just got the blood work results in the mail about Lily's allergies.

They were low, very low. The doctor thinks she has out grown them and we have the green light to start slowly trying things (start with products with milk in them like mashed potatos and the like.)

I am so excited I just don't know what to do next. I hope they results are right. :cheer2: :cheer2:

Oh and it is snowing out. What is up with that?

z--I just read the link! Yeah!!! :cool1: :cool1: I'm ready to book for our trip in Jan '08 for the marathon. :cheer2: We'll be child free on that trip, and I think that would be great for the 2 of us. We probably won't add on any more points, but having that option is great!

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you to Tamie and Tyler!!!!!!

We love our exchange package! We got personalized buckets for trick or treating for the kids--Emma is so funny, she won't let Matthew come near hers, since she can spell her name now. She runs over and gives him his, and tells him not to touch hers. She's also already put the window clings up, and wants to know where her candy is (I hid it before she could grab it ;) ) There is also a sweet book and stickers. And then I love the turkey towel and leaf coasters! So wonderful! Thanks again! It really brightened an otherwise dreary day here!

Can it get any better? A DVC at AKL and my wonderful exchange package coming today--don't think so! :thumbsup2

Hi Moms-

BNB- I thought of you when I read about the AKL DVC over on Deb's site! Do you think you might buy into it? :cheer2: Unless we got a substantial inheritance (which I don't want to think about because it would mean our parents had passed on), I think I would buy into it if they did it at the Contemporary. Otherwise, I don't think DH would ever want to buy into it unless we just had cash flying around.

Hillbeans- I hope you have a great time at the concert tomorrow! I hope our kitty somehow shows up too....

Hi Cabmom- FF, Zalansky and I are going to try and meet up the evening of the 25th- if you are able to join us, that would be great! Right now we are just throwing around the idea of perhaps meeting for drinks at one of the resort lounges. Dean sure looks cute!

DisneyPhD- Great news about Lily! I can feel your excitement! What a relief!

Nucpharm- sounds like you got a great package! What does the DVC print look like? I always like Disney art, but don't want to take it away from someone else here who might like it too. :goodvibes

Kim- I certainly hope Aidan is OK! Is Albuterol an inhaler type thing? I think Josh had that prescribed once when he had a bad cold. Please let us know.

I am so moody and crampy right now, it's not even funny. I swear ladies, this better be Aunt Flo starting, because I have just had it with my mood. I almost started to cry last night to DH because I just can't stand this anymore- I have never been a person that is volatile to feelings of depression- I mean, look how I handled DH being gone. Most of the ladies I knew were going off the deep end, but I was OK. But these last 5-6 months being on this Depo has made me just kind of 'there.' I told DH if it weren't for me making myself exercise most days, my mood would completely be in the toilet. I just ate 3 1/2 trick or treat candies to get some chocolate in my system- I know, bad, but desperate times.... :confused3 I need to get Molly down for a nap, quickly fold some laundry and exercise. I would rather lay on the couch and watch my soap though.

Oh, a funny- for any of you who watch the Wiggles- that Quack Quack ****-a-Doodle song they do? Molly out of nowhere will just start doing it- she puts her arms up under her armpits and starts flapping and says, "Quack- Quack- Quack- Quack- Quack...." LOL! So funny! :rotfl:
