Loretta- Now that it is official, Happy Birthday! Enjoy the rest of your day, and good luck with the research group tonight. My Disney Shopping box just arrived as well. :cheer2:

GLT- Hope your DH feels better soon!

Tamie- Hope the lump is nothing serious. Jenna sometimes gets lumps like that after mosquito bites. We have a ton of them here, and they usually attack her as soon as we go outside.

As soon a Jenna wakes up from her nap we are going shopping for my exchange pal. It should be easy to shop for her since we like a lot of the same things. Wonder who it can be??? ;)

Don't forget to take a few moments today to tell your loved ones how special they are to you. Love you, gals! :grouphug:

TTFN!

FYI- A .05 click just came up at Sunshine! Hurry and get it!

Good afternoon moms! :sunny:

Well, the past few days certainly have been a struggle as far as studying has been concerned. I told my dh this morning that I might need to drop a class if things don’t change b/c I am going to lose my sanity. He wants me to stick with it so I am. It is so hard to be a full time student and a full time mom at the same time. I broke down and called a bunch of daycare places to see about putting John in one part time. I actually found one that can take him MWF, but it is going to cost me about $880 a month which is going to hurt budget wise. :sad2: He offered to ask his mom to come up to help out, but unfortunately that is more work for me since she really isn’t a help. Sweet lady, but very high maintenance. Gosh, I should stop moaning and groaning especially since I have so many blessings in my life……sorry about that!

Ginamarie – Today is such a tough day in remembrance of 9/11. :grouphug: I have a few neighbors who lost loved ones on that day and I am sure today is a tough day for them. On a brighter note, that is really sweet that your family misses you! Good luck finding your dishes!

Zalansky – HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! :cheer2: You look amazing in your pictures! You are tiny just like your BIL gf! Those pictures from the Boardwalk are so beautiful too!

J&D – My demos are September 26 and October 24th for K-3 and November 7th and 14th for the 4-6. Would the rocket demo be better for the older grade? I appreciate any help you can give! I’ll check out the Usborne site too! Thanks so much! :goodvibes

Nucpharm – I’ll pray that your garage door stays fixed for you! :wizard:

GLT – I hope your dh feels better soon! :grouphug: Sorry to hear that he has a kidney infection! Good luck with e-bay!

Robin – Yes, my reunion is at this fancy country club and I am kicking myself for signing up to go. It will be fun to see people, but I could really use the money at the moment. Sad thing is that I probably need to go by a semi formal dress since I won’t fit into any of my old stuff. Ugh.

Too funny about the counter tops! :teeth: I’ve done that too where I didn’t notice something for years! Some of my neighbors have Corian and their only complaint is that you need to be careful with it as it scratches easily. You also can’t put a hot pot on top of it like you can with granite. I think Corian is beautiful!

Gems – Oh, I hope that your eye isn’t infected! :grouphug: Glad to hear that work isn’t too bad today. I hope that everyone starts to be nice soon!

SL – I love the new picture of Lucas in your signature! So how was your bday?

DisneyPhD – Oh what a way to start the day! You poor thing with all of the smoke detectors going off!

Lissawynn – I’m so glad that you bought the maternity clothes!! You deserve a treat!

Justhat – It sounds like you certainly had an exhausting weekend! Sorry to hear about that! I hope driving goes smoothly for you!

Tamie – Sometimes bites can harden, but if it the redness continues to get bigger then I would call into the ped’s office. Sorry that I’m not much help! Good luck!

BNBmom – You’ve got me drooling with that pancake recipe! Yum Yum! Oh and tell Robert that Yankee fans aren’t too bad. ;) :rotfl2: I married one as you know and we have had a pretty good marriage thus far. I hope that Jocelyn gets a dancing part!!

Hi to Hillbeans, DisKim, Val, Tasha, Fabumouse, dizagain, Ryan840, Floridafam, Joats, Bellacam, Gretchen and everyone!! :wave2:

Howdy all!

Well, I heard back from our realtor that sold us this house (she's great) and she's gotten ahold of the builder and either he or the garage door company is going to come fix the problem in the next couple of days. Even if they have to put in a whole new door! :thumbsup2 If anyone ever relocates to my neck of the woods, I"ve got a great realtor for you!

GLT--hope your hubby is feeling better!

justhat--hope you're feeling a better as well--those full days away from nursing babies makes it hard on the mommies as well. Sounds like the wedding went well.

Jill--I hope you can get some studying in. And ouch about the cost of part time daycare! I got all excited b/c they just opened a drop-in daycare in our area, but it's 6.50 an hour!!!! Guess I won't be using that!

zalansky--sounds like lunch was such a treat! Happy Bday once again! :woohoo:

Nothing much going on here today--got the kids all dressed and schleped all of us to the park, b/c the mommy and me group here was supposed to be meeting there on Monday's--well, the whole playground was in disarray--all roped off and guys working on it--so Emma was hacked off that we couldn't stay. But my mom was in town watching dneice so we headed over there for a visit, so the whole morning wasn't a waste. DH is hopping on a plane in a few hours, and will be gone until Friday--Yuck! I'm actually going to spend one night with my parents, to save my sanity--and I heard through the grapevine that my dad really wants the kids to spend the night! cute! Well, I better go and see what Emma is up to--maybe we'll head to the mall this afternoon, I forgot I have a babyshower to go to on Wed. night. Good excuse to go shopping!!!!

 Hi everybody,
Just wanted to stop in and say hello to you all. I am knee deep in preparing for the baby shower for tomorrow night but I need a break.

Just wanted to ask those of you who have traveled to wdw with babies what things should I not forget on my packing list? I've never traveled with a baby as young as Katrina so I don't know what I may be forgetting. TIA :) .

val--Tylenol for yourself! :rotfl: Just Kidding!!! I would say enough diapers that you don't have to buy any once you're there--I can't believe the amount they charge for diapers! And even if katrina can drink out of a straw, at least one sippy cup for AK b/c they don't allow straws there. I had read on a previous thread of an idea to pack a disposable bib, a couple of wipes, disposable fork/spoon,and a disposable placemat in ziploc baggies so that you can just grab one or two baggies and go--and not have to be searching around for stuff on your way to the parks! Lots of sunscreen and a nice hat to keep her out of the sun--what else--Can't remember right now! Will let you know if I can think of anything!

Oh, Jill--I have a question for you--You go to one of those places where you go prepare meals to freeze, right? Well, I've been looking into going to one, so I can have some yummy food with little or no prep--and in Good Housekeeping this month they reccommended those type places to help families on a budget (made DH interested) So I guess my question is, Do you really save any money doing food that way? And, in your experience, is the food as good as it sounds? The place here is called Pass Your Plate and I can get 10 dinners for $159 plus a free entree--sound reasonable???

Val--a quick answer to your packing question:

bibs
food as necessary (if she eats any kind of baby food, snacks for the trip, etc.)
a couple receiving blankets from home (smell like home--help her sleep. I put one in the bottom of the crib, over the sheet)
a few surprises for the trip. If you're real ambitious, keep a few back, for the ride home
babywash--I brought my samples of the Huggies washcloths with the soap in them--if you're not so cheap, you could just buy some.
babysling if you use one
a few familiar books
sippy cups and whatever other feeding utensils you might need--spoons, etc.
dishwashing liquid--tough to use bar soap!
special friend, if she has one
more diapers and wipes than you think you'll need. FYI, Pampers had the smallest "footprint" in the suitcase, although I really prefer Target generics.
infant Tylenol AND Advil
Your medical insurance card
Clorox Wipes

I hope that helps! I bring other stuff, like burp cloths, but I'm thinking she doesn't need them anymore. A few to wipe stuff up might be a good thought, though.

I hope that helps!

Although I agree on the hat, we brought sunscreen and wound up never using it--we weren't out in the sun that long, really. Maybe bring one bottle? We also didn't use bug spray but had it.

We made it back and in just over 4 hours too so pretty decent. I was so tired that I didn't leave till almost noon cause I had to rest for fear of falling asleep in the car. I only had to stop once, to feed Henry just 1 hour after we left my mom's cause he was hysterical as though he hadn't just eaten an hour ago. We just ordered a pizza for dinner and finished bringing in our stuff from the car (which I had to wait on till Joey got home cause I was skeptical of leaving Madison alone in the house with Henry-sometimes she's just too "loving"). So I should have some time later on tonight to read through the posts.

Zalansky, great photos! Cam's birthday looks like it was fun, and those pictures from BWV are gorgeous!

The pizza just got here so time to eat!

Wow! This thread is so busy it's hard to keep up! Haven't really had computer time today as a Target outing took up alot of Carson's sleep time today! Loaded up on Pampers Swaddlers size 1 (which I have discovered I do really like - thank you for the suggestion!). Just gotta finish up about 15 Huggies newborns and I'm done with that.

Justhat - glad you made it home! You're so adventurous!!

Zalansky - precious pictures!

Disneyphd - Our smoke detectors had dead back-up batteries this weekend and kept beeping - very annoying. Ours go off all the time when DH puts extra cheese on his frozen pizza and it drips all over the oven!

GLT - hope your DH is feeling better soon! Glad he went to the doctor - sometimes "they" won't do that!

tykes - I had a spider bite on my foot once that sounds like you're describing. I did not go to the doctor, but it was a lump FOREVER and itched, and then later it started peeling and it did that for a long time too. By long time, I mean months, unfortunately. Hope everything's ok!

Alice28 - Too funny about the counters! When we sold our house last year to move to Chicago, we had our white formica treated with this stuff that I can't remember the name of...anyway, it is sprayed on and it makes your counters LOOK like corrian (sp?), rounded edges and all. It was like $200 for my whole kitchen and it looked so good. That was our cheap fix and I would do it again. Since we've moved, several friends did it and were happy as well.

BuzznBelle'smom - Does your DD do lots of theatre stuff? My girls have been doing 2-3 shows a year for about 5 years now and don't show signs of quitting. They are sitting out the current production of their company because of Carson, but Hayley is auditioning soon for her school musical. Hope your DD gets the part she wants - always stressful. Fun activity, but so time-consuming!

Well, DH is feeding Carson and I need to finish getting ready to feed the rest of us. I'm so pathetic...I hate cooking and I'm already looking forward to Wednesday when I can say I cooked three days in a row and am taking a break! And tonight is really the only healthy meal of the three, oh well... :confused3

Hello to everyone and have a great night!

Hi Gals!

What a busy afternoon!

BNB- I am officially craving some macadamia nut pancakes now- those sound delish! Hope Jocelyn gets a dancing part! :wizard:

Tamie- how is Tyler's bite doing? Better? Same? Worse?

Justhat- so glad you made it home safe and sound. Pizza sounds good!

GLT- How is your DH doing? That sounds kind of serious- is he still in the hospital? :guilty:

Val- I just have to vouch for disposable wipe containers (like the packs at costco)- I used those ALL THE TIME on our trips. And def diapers, and medicines of sorts. I would also pack some of her clothes in Ziploc bags so you can just throw an extra outfit in the backpack or whatever in case she gets wet/dirty/etc.

nuc- yay that your garage door will be completely fixed! I mean, you bought a brand new house, right? Things like that should be working!

Jill- ouch on the $880 for a babysitter parttime! I can see why that wouldn't be doable. I hope you are able to figure it out- I think you know whether or not you can handle your load. Good luck deciding to drop a class or not. :grouphug:

Z- Wow, you'll be more than halfway there paying for your dining plan! I agree the Boardwalk Bakery has some to die for items. I have only gotten coffee cake there, but it was the size of a brick!

J&D- thanks for the Sunshine headsup. I too have been thinking a lot about the victims of 9/11/01 and it just still makes me sick and angry. I just don't understand that kind of hatred.

I had a nice morning/afternoon though. I actually got a little choked up putting Josh on the bus. Oh, and STUPID me, I remembered the camera, but I had left the memory stick in the computer! UGH. It was too late to run back up to the house to get it. But then mom, Molly and I went to lunch and to the mall. Mom got Molly two more outfits at Gymbo (!!!!!!!!!) and Sam a sweatshirt and another Gymbuck for me! Then we walked around and I found a few things for my exchange buddy. Now I need to shop for exchange buddy's child! :teeth: I still have a few more things in mind for the mommy though....this is fun!

Something scary happened about 30-40 minutes ago. I was doing my exercise DVD in my bedroom, and suddenly I hear a woman's voice screaming downstairs. I run down the stairs (thank god I didn't trip) and it was dear neighbor, crying and panicking with her son in her arms, yelling for a fire extinguisher- I ran to the kitchen and grabbed ours and started dialing 9-1-1 for her. Apparently her stove caught on fire- her DH had made fried rice last night, and went she went to boil some water, the oil caught on fire and she panicked. I felt SO badly for her- you know when things happen like that, and you're pregnant on top of it....she got the fire out, but the firetruck came anyway (the fire station is literally about 4 blocks away) to check on things for her. Poor girl! She came back in my house crying and shaking....I'm just glad I was home to help her. She said she would grab a two pack of fire extinguishers later today. ;) She said she was just thinking she should have one in the house- I'm glad it worked, it's been under our sink since we had our housewarming party 9++ years ago.

Anyway, TTFN, I will check in after dinner.

UGH-I just got the kids ready to head to the mall to get a shower gift, and what happens??? My van has a flat tire!!!! Of course this would happen when DH is out of town!!!!! Luckily, my DBIL is a super handyman and he's coming over to put the spare on b/c I"m not doing it myself (and I'm ashamed to admit I don't even know how--but at least I do know where the spare is!) And then my dad looked up the best replacement tires for me and good thing that the tire place is in the Target parking lot--so guess where we're off to tomorrow am!

:wave2: Hey Everyone!

I'm a little behind these days as it seems to be a choice between cleaning my absolute pit of a house or time for myself. Either way, the decision sucks.

So - Lissa - good for you for getting the maternity clothing! I reallly do believe that when we take care of ourselves in a multitude of ways, we are better mothers, partners, and employees.

I myself gave into the Gymboree $10 sale and bought stuff that Madeleine will grow out of in 2 months. But, her clothing was starting to irritate me for various reasons and with $100 I got quite a bit. And free shipping. :)

Justhat - sorry about your breasts! That must have seriously hurt, as I know what it feels like when Madeleine hasn't eaten for 4 hours.

Robin - your epiphany made me laugh! It took me 3 years to realize that the tile in our bathroom was *both* orange and pink (in different locations, but still).

GTL - sorry about your DH!! :guilty:

BnB - I really do believe that you are better off talking with a friend than cleaning the house (well, until the house is making you totally crazy - then it's time to either clean it or hire a housekeeper :) ) And re doing a kitchen - I've never done it, but in my fantasies it costs 20,000 and up. Am I wrong? :confused3 DH really wants to update ours, but it seems financially unfeasible right now.

Jill - I hear you - your sanity is worth a LOT. And my DH once said to me, when I was embarassed about my angst over my DD5 never sleeping (and I was sick from exhaustion) - It's ok to be upset and if you are afraid to complain because other people have it worse - well then there's only ONE person on the whole planet who would have the "right" to complain. It's okay to feel blue about things, even if our lives are very, very good. :goodvibes

Dizagain - I also hate to cook. The only difference between us is - I don't do it. Seriously. I bake once in a while, but otherwise, I'll reheat, or make burritos from everything canned and pre-prepared, but to actually get out ingredients and take a knife to them? Wow - 3 nights in a row is amazing!

Nucpharm - sorry about the flat.

Oh - to everyone who recommended the Papasan swing - thank you!! I hadn't even seen it before you mentioned it and my MIL did end up buying it. It arrived today and is so very comfy. Madeleine is asleep in it right now - and I'm just amazed at how much nicer the baby swings are now, compared to the hard rickety things that were around when I was babysitting - oh, 20 years ago. I remember that most of them had to be hand-cranked. Like *that* wouldn't wake up a baby! :teeth:

Happy Birthday Zalansky!!!!
:bday: :cake:
:rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl2: About your comment on your MIL in the photo!!! (I agree!! :lmao: )

Look what arrived in the mail today....

IMG_1180.jpg

I am so excited. Man, if only I could have Tamie's talent. DH loved it too!!
Thanks so much Tamie!!! I can't wait to see what it looks like in Jace's room.

Poor Nuchparm! I'm not sure I could change my own tire either. Sorry that happened to you.

TGFR!! (thank god for Robin). So glad you could help out your neighbor. We have an exstinguisher in the kitchen. I dated a volunteer fireman once and have had one ever since.

Dizagain: Glad you like the Swaddlers. LOL - by wednesday night we are getting take out. By Wed I'm done being in the kitchen too.

Justhat: Glad you made it home safely. Enjoy your Pizza!

Val: Good luck with the baby shower tomorrow.

Jill: Did you find a daycare place for John. It must be so hard to be in school full time with 3 kids. Keep up the great work! Oh, and feel free to vent anytime :grouphug:

Hi BNB, GM, SL, Lissawyn, DisneyPhD, DisKim, GLT, J&D and anyone else I missed.

Sorry to cut the full replies short. DH just yelled the Prison Break is about to start. :woohoo: I love that show!!
Gotta run as I still have to take out the trash.
:)

Wow, you ladies have been posting like crazy. I probably won't remember half of what I just read!

I had a very bad day yesterday. DH and I had a huge argument. Once that was settled I got a phone call and found out my aunt has a mass in her lung. That's all I really know for now. She is only 40 and she is my friend and fellow Disney addict. On top of that, there was more family drama but I don't even feel like getting into it. It was just a horrible day. I was happy to go to work today.

Loretta - Happy birthday!! That view is amazing. It makes me want to go right now. I wouldn't even bother to go to the parks!! Camryn is just adorable. I think she and Conner are looking more alike.

lissawynn - Don't hesitate to buy yourself clothes. You deserve it :thumbsup2 .

Gems - Yes, Emily is still hooked on Animal Planet. It's kind of freaky.

Jill - I cannot believe it is that much for part time daycare! I pay $680/month for full time care and I thought that was a lot.

nucpharm - I'm so sorry about the flat tire. That is so annoying!

Thanks for all the advice about Emily. We will be testing this out next week and I'm going to be totally freaked out. I totally trust her. I worry that some maniac will follow her home. Of course, the bus stops one house away from us and she walks with her friend.

Other news - DH got a phone call from a local college for a job interview. He didn't have a chance to call back today. I'll keep you posted!

Well, I'm beat and my brain is fried. I know I'm missing a lot of people and I respond to you in my head while I'm reading but when I go to reply I forget everything that I was thinking two seconds ago. Does anyone else have this problem?

Diskim...just found your post about Emily...

Hayley's 12 1/2 and started staying home for very short periods of time like 15 minutes at almost 11. She has slowly grown more comfortable and now will stay home with Hannah or alone for an hour or two sometimes if I'm within 5-10 minutes of home. She has just now gotten comfortable with actually coming home alone, though...before I just left them already at home. Hannah is 10 1/2 and no way would she stay home alone for 5 minutes - she's just not comfortable with that yet. SO, my advice is to try it if Emily is up for it...that's a short time. I know you'll be worried, but just have her check in with you! Our bus stop is at our house which is nice and close like yours. Will she use a garage code or does she have a key? We have Hayley use a garage code and the key is in a special place in the garage so she can go in through the laundry room. Good luck! It will be ok! I hope you get better news about your aunt and hoping also you have a better day tomorrow!

Good evening ladies!

I'm back from school and thought I would send off a quick post before bedtime. :wave2: Tonight traffic was a total nightmare and it took me an hour and a half just to get to school. Of course, once I got there I was huffing and puffing across campus to make it to class. I was late of course, but I'm sure all the undergrads who saw me got a kick out of seeing some old geezer in a dress and heels run across campus. :lmao: Mental note to self: Wear comfortable shoes to school tomorrow! ;)

DisKim - I'm sorry to hear about your aunt! :grouphug: I'll keep her in my prayers. Keep us posted on how she is doing. I hope that tomorrow is a better day for you.

Robin - How frightening for your neighbor! :grouphug: What a blessing that you were there for her today.

Nucpharm - I've gone to Let's Dish about 9 times over the past year and for us, it is definitely economical. We usually get two meals out of one dinner so that works out to be about a little less than $2 per person to feed. The meals are pretty good, but we had to experience a few 'dud' meals before I got into the swing of what works for us. The big benefit for me is that I don't have to worry about what is for dinner. I just pull something out of the freezer. I hope that helps! Sorry to hear about your flat tire!

Joats - That growth chart is beautiful! You are right, Tamie is very talented!! Have fun watching Prison Break!

Justhat - Glad to hear that you made it home safely!!

Lissawynn - How did your meeting go this afternoon?

Val - Good luck with the baby shower! I bet it will be a roaring success!

Fabumouse - Thanks for making me feel better! :goodvibes I've been feeling like a big baby complaining over something that is at the end of the day a 'good thing'. What you said puts it into perspective! Oh and I'm so glad that you found a good swing for Madeleine!

Dizagain - Good luck with the cooking! I love to cook, but things have been so hectic this past year that I've resorted to going to a dinner prep place to make all my meals at once. It has been a lifesaver.

BNBmom - Great list! :thumbsup2 I might copy that for my trip in December.

Hi to everyone! :wave2:

Tomorrow, I tour the daycare place and then I go to school. After tonight's class, it doesn't look like dropping a class is an option. At this point, I would only get a 50% refund on my class and each class is costing me about $1700. It is expensive, I know... The DC area is so expensive that pretty soon we won't be able to afford to live here anymore........ anyways, my dh isn't ready to take a hit on the tuition. At least I will have a job next year so that is a plus! :thumbsup2

Good night ladies!

Jill- Are there any churches in your area that have Mother's Day Out programs? They usually only meet 2-3 times/week and are very reasonable in price. I'll copy my rockets and motion, forces, and energy stuff and send it soon. I taught a rockets class in summer camp to all ages, but it would probably be best to do it for your 4-6 demo.

nucpharm- Sorry about your flat tire.

Valerie- Good luck with the baby shower. Sorry I forgot to send you a pic of the baby food jar candle holders.

justhat- Glad to hear that the wedding went well. Welcome back.

Tamie- Has Tyler's lump gone down?

GLT- How is your DH tonight?

BnBM- Glad preschool went well for Celeste. Good luck to Jocelyn.

SL- Love the new pic of Lucas.

Loretta- How was the research group?

dizagain- Good luck to Hayley on her audition.

Alice- Glad your neighbor and her son are OK. How scary that must have been for her.

joats- Love the growth chart. Great job, Tamie!

DisKim- Saying prayers for your aunt. Good luck to your DH.

lissawynn- How did your meeting go today?

Gems- Hope you had a good day at work.

fabumouse- Glad you like the Papasan swing. Our style of cooking sounds the same.

Hi to Hillbeans, Ginamarie, floridafam, Tasha, DisneyPhD, and all other DIS moms!

Alice- it’s so funny how sometimes you look at something all the time and don’t notice stuff like that. I have corian countertops now. They’re REALLY easy to clean and I love that the sink is part of the countertop so I don’t have to worry about grime getting stuck where the sink meets the countertop. The only downside I’ve heard is that you have to heat up the sink before you can pour hot water into it.. so like when draining pasta, you have to run warm water and then hot water before draining the pasta. Not a big deal really, just something I need to get used to.
Oh my goodness, I’m glad your neighbor is ok. That must have been terrifying for her.

Tamie- That sounds like a spider bite to me. I’ve had a couple of them.

Gottalove them- Sorry your DH is sick :(

Buzznbelle- glad the preschool went well. Those pancakes sound incredible! Now I want to make sure we get some on our vacation. I’m a sucker for pineapple and macadamia nuts.

Jill- I’m sorry you’re having a tough time with school and all. My first class is Wednesday night and I think I’m going to be struggling to stay awake. I also broke down and peaked at local childcare facilities. I’m not sure how I’m going to do enough work to balance our finances and take care of Olivia all day anymore. I feel like The Little Engine that Could a little—I think I can, I think I can…

Joats- the growth chart looks great!

DisKim- Sorry for the bad day. I’ll say a prayer for your aunt.

OK, I’m pretty much out of energy tonight. Olivia was resisting sleep again, but I finally got her out. She just wants to snuggle (which I want to do too, but I need to be able to get stuff done during the day at some point!). My mom got a call from the library today about DBro. Apparently one of the mom’s complained that he’s too friendly and shouldn’t touch the other children at all. Of course we know which mom it is, because she hovers over her daughter the whole time and tells everyone “she doesn’t like to be touched.” The funny part is that the kid doesn’t seem upset by the other children at all, though the mom freaks out. It’s also funny because DBro is incredibly gentle and sweet with all the kids. He does like to hug hello sometimes, but it’s just like a gentle arm around the shoulder type of thing. Mom said that when she got to the library tonight one of the other little boys ran up to Grant and wanted to hold his hand.. so at least he had another friendly kid to play with.

Mom just bought some more stuff from disneyshopping. I swear we’re keeping that whole store in business. She got me the Mickey porch lights though so I can replace the old ratty ones that are out there now :) OK, eyes are drooping…

Goodnight ladies!

Hi. I'll have to catch up with everyone tomorrow. But thank you to those who are asking.. .DH is home. He is loaded up with penicillin - had two IV's of it at the hospital and is on 500 mg pills at home. They said he should be feeling better tomorrow already and if things don't improve to go to the dr. While he is tired, he doesn't seem overly miserable (maybe because he's sleeping ;) ), so hopefully he'll recover quickly.

Leif's lips are healing fine. The other two are doing fine too. Thank you ladies for caring/asking.

Joats/Tamie - LOVE the chart. Making me think about one for Leif.

DisKim :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :wizard: :wizard: thinking of you

nucpharm - One of the reasons I love AAA - oh, and the WDW discounts  ACtually, my dad made me learn how to change a tire when I got my first car. He actually watched me take it off and change it, turned out that was a good thing because I got a flat on the NJ Turnpike (in the left lane) while I was moving (i.e. my car/trunk was LOADED) adn all a police officer said was, "move it" :rotfl2: mind you the tire was already off my car. Hope you have fun at Target while you get a new tire :teeth:

Robin, fabumouse, Gems, BNB, Hillbeans, bellacam, J&D, disneyphd, FF, ginamarie, lissawynn and all other Moms, HI HI HI -- have a great night and I hope to catch up more tomorrow.

Thanks again for DH's well wishes!
