Thanks. A little girl dressed as Dorothy won. The librarian told my DH that she thought Jenna should have won first place, but she didn't get to vote on the winners.

Jenna looks so cute! I haven't seen a pic of her in so long, she sure has changed! Very cute Tinkerbell!

Tamie- Fab reminded me why the Dig Site gave me a minor heart attack when we took the boys when Sam was 5 and Josh was 20 months. It was very hard to keep track of them, and there are tons of climb nets, etc. However, there is only one entrance and exit, so it's very unlikely he could escape from you....it's just you have to be willing to climb up there if he goes up! It is fun though- we are definitely making time for it this next trip. At least for me, with Molly, I can ask the boys to keep track of her for me.

Kim- have you decided on taking the train or not? Somehow driving into Manhattan sounds so intimidating to me! Probably because I've never been there, lol! They must have plenty of parking garages, right? Have a fantastic time! I can't wait to hear about it. I bet the Nutcracker in NYC was impressive- the most elite production I have seen was in San Francisco. My mom and I went several times when I was growing up- we'd shop at Macy's and have high tea in one of the other big dept stores. I hope to do things like that with Molly when she's older.

I'm biting my lip at Dancing right now....here we go....am I gonna cry?......

Phew, my favorite is staying. Joey sure seemed like a nice guy though. I was getting a little sick of Edyta's bra outfits though. I mean, really---sparkly bra under swoopy doopy dress..

J&D~ Wow, Jenna has changed so much since the last time you posted pics of her! She is adorable in her costume!

GM~ Honestly, I don't think the doctors would be so concerned about Kylie's weight if she had started out small. I have known others that are small at 18 months and the doctors don't act so concerned but they were smaller at birth too. Kylie was 9 lbs 7 oz so I guess maybe they think she should be some enormous toddler or something. I am thankful that her pediatrician isn't overly concerned and is just cautious though so that I don't get panicky either.

My sister is 9 and she is smaller than a lot of 5 year olds I know. Scott's mom and aunt and grandmother are also small so I am thinking that it is just genetics at this point. I am still surprised every time I see Kylie next to younger kids though as she is just so small. Her 7 month old cousin weighs more than her and is only about an inch shorter than her! That picture in my siggie is not an accurate representation of her IMO. It makes her seem so much older and bigger than she is. IRL she is tiny. I am far from petite and dh isn't petite either so she is taking us by surprise with her size! It's nice that she's small when she wants to be carried though! ;)

Okay, I have to finish my online assignments now. I only have 2 more weeks in my online classes as they don't go as long as my regular classes so I am pretty much just wrapping those up now and getting ready for the finals in those and I am thrilled about that!

Good Morning all! Yesterday was soooo busy. I am still exhausted. Matthews appt. went well. He's 24lbs 7oun. and 30 something inches long. He's around 80th percentile in everything. He got 4 shots and has been a pistol ever since.

Today should be pretty good--I can't believe it's going to be almost 85 here today! WTH, doesn't Mother nature know it's november! Anyway, I'm due to run 10 miles today, and I'm already dreading it. I went and finally got some new running shoes last night, so maybe that will help me with my motivation

I haven't even started to get goodies for my buddy yet! AAAHH!!! I was shopping yesterday and found some goodies but didn't buy them b/c I thought I had so much time! Oh, and if any of ya'll have girls that like to cook, Williams Sonoma has the CUTEST princess aprons, mini pink rolling pins, and princess cookie cutters for christmas this year! I almost bought them for Emma, but we've already done so much that I should probably reign myself in.

J&D-nice to see you back. And OMG, Jenna is so cute!!!! She has changed so much!

Tasha--glad you got a chance to pop in with all your school work! Sounds like Kylie is growing just fine!

DisKim--have fun at hte spectacular!

bnb--now that we've gotten rid of our scorpion prob. now we are deaing with mice--they LOVE our dog food, and for some reason, unknown to me, DH would rather empty out mouse traps than find a plastic container to put the dog food in. :confused3

Guess I should get off of here. My neighbor across the street invited us over for a playgroup today. It's funny, we've lived here around 4 months and she's not been overly friendly--she's always rushing her kids (around the same age as ours) into the house.Hopefully today will go well! Have a great Thursday all--OMG I just heard a blurb that K Fed. wants custody of their kids, is he really off his rocker?????

Yesterday was insane at work but we managed to get the project out before I left. Then I developed a headache in the afternoon and went to bed early. I woke up 3 times last night and still have a little bit of a headache. Not to mention it's trash day and that darn garbage truck always come before 7:00.

J&D - Jenna looks so adorable in her costume! She should have won first place.

tkyes - Hope you had a great bday. Your itinerary looks great and I agree with the others...skip the ABC Commissary. You'll have to let me know how the Beach Club is because we're most likely staying there next September.

DisKim - Have fun in NYC. DH is now talking about taking the train in the weekend after Thanksgiving. I have to find out when they put the tree up in Rockefeller Center b/c that's what I want to see. Why do I think it's later than Thanksgiving?

fabumous - How's the computer situation coming along? All fixed yet?

bellacam - Sorry I didn't get to respond to your posts earlier - how's Aidan's rash? We've always used A+D when it's not yeasty.

Alice28 - I was hoping for an Emmett/Joey final, but I'm glad Emmett made it at least. Something about Mario put me off after the whole thing with the lifts a few weeks ago. I don't like his attitude.

Gem - Glad you got the hospital stuff straightened out. That must be a relief. My ILs play favorites with DH's sister, but she's not living on handouts. She's the baby of the family and since she's a girl, she gets more. They never bought her a house though. I'd be livid.

zalansky - I was actually pretty excited when Britney filed for divorce and I'm not even a fan of hers, personally or career-wise.

hillbeans - Glad no one got hurt in the light bulb explosion.

floridafam - I hope it's good news for DS's teacher.

nucpharm - How did Matthew's appointment go?

BnB - I'm enjoying your thorough investigation of WDW funnel cakes. I'm still mad that I didn't get one in October even though we passed the stand on the Boardwalk every night we were there.

Dizagain - Good luck to your DH on his interview!

lissawynn - Glad your house stayed dry.

Tasha - Kylie sure is a little peanut! I think it's easier on girls when they're small than on the boys. Lucas may be thin, but I'm kind of glad he's on the taller side.

glt - Sorry you're going to be without a car for a while. BTW, I love the new pictures in your signature.

ginamarie - Glad Olivia's appointment went well.

joats - I'm glad everyone is feeling better.

I have a toy on hold at the Disney Store so I have to go pick that up today. All the local Disney Stores ran out of the Little Einsteins Rocket stuffed toy so we called around and found one that's not too far out of the way. I also need to do my exchange shopping. I can't believe I forgot the mailing date, too!

Hope everyone has a great day.

I guess I really need to start shopping for my exchange buddy! I was convinced the mail date was at the beginning of December. Maybe I'm confused with last year's date.

Here's what's been going on...our big blue tarp stayed on the house. DH was "upstairs" last night and it was completely dry. I didn't get to take a pic b/c it was raining all freakin' day. The wind was terrible last night and DH was convinced that he heard noises upstairs. The weather today and tomorrow is supposed to be beautiful, so I'm hoping the guys get a lot done in the next two days.

My drs appointment went well. I have gained 24 lbs, though and am only 6 1/2 months. I don't think I look big, but I feel like a cow. The dr swabbed my throat for strep (again), but they won't have the results for a while. He suggested that I make an appointment with an ENT b/c my sore throat just won't go away. I'm not exactly looking forward to gagging like crazy while the dr is checking my throat, but what choice do I have?

DH is working on the heating for the addition all weekend. My sister and I are going shopping and I'm going to try to get stuff for all of DH's nieces and nephews at Old Navy with my Stuff a Bag discount. They could care less what I buy them (I never even get a thank-you) and last year one of the girls threw away the stuff I got her from B&BW b/c she was in such a hurry to open her other gifts. I also have to pick up a VB wallet I ordered for a friend. I have a coupon and a cert. for a free VB mini something with my purchase.

SL - Glad to hear you got your project finished. Sorry about the headache.

nucpharm - Have a good time at the play date!

Tasha - Good luck getting your work done!

Alice - I haven't been able to watch DwtS as much as I would like, but I'm pulling for Emmit. I also loved Cheryl when she danced with Drew last season.

J&D - Jenna looks beautiful in her costume. Thanks for posting the send info for the exchange.

DisKim - I hope you have a great day in NYC. The weather looks good for today.

Ginamarie - Sounds like you got a lot done yesterday. I'm on the fence about buying Cars. I guess Jimmy would appreciate it when he's older. I am trying to get most of the Disney stuff on dvd. I have a bunch of tapes and plan on getting rid of our vcr when we get a dvr or TiVo.

 Hi GLT, dizagain, joats, hillbeans, zalansky, and all the other moms I missed.

I have to get some work done while my kids are working so quietly.

ETA - Happy belated birthday Tamie!

morning :)

j&d - Jenna looks so cute! That background is so perfect for her costume!

tasha - Some kids are just petite. I have a friend who's daughter is the same way.

lissawynn - Glad your addition stayed dry!

sl - Sorry about your headache! I hope you feel better today. The stuffed Rocket sounds cute.

diskim - Have fun at the show! Congrats on your DH raise.

nucpharm - Enjoy your nice weather and the play date!

glt - Cute new pictures of the kids!

alice - (and fab) thanks for the heads up on the Dig Site. I guess I'll see if he's really antsy and how crowded the area is.

Anyone ever done the ABC Comissary for Breakfast? That's the only place that serves a counter service breakfast. I haven't decided if we'll do Starring Rolls or get Tyler some pancakes at Comissary.

I had a great bday dinner last night. I thought we were just going out with my parents, but there were about 15 of us! DH invited a bunch of friends to join us. It was a lot of fun!

My son has always been a bit of a monkey, but the past week he has turned into a crazy one. He is climbin on and in everything! He also started really throwing food and toys and is oblivious to a firm "no". I take him out of his highchair when he starts throwing food. Any other ideas? I really hope this is just a phase!!!

Hey gals. I have a minute before DS is gonna be picked up for preschool, then to feed Leif and if I'm lucky get him down for nap so I can work on a couple articles (and maybe catch up?).

nucpharm - scorpians? Ick, I missed that conversation. Sorry you are having trouble with the mice. That's not fun either. Those sound things bnb talked about with sound waves may be better than emptying mouse traps. Matthew sounds like he's growing well. Sorry he's being a pistol.

SL - Thanks for noticing the new pics! Wow, that's an early garbage truck arrival, ours is usually in the afternoon, unless I don't have the trash out, then it comes in the a.m. :confused3

Tamie - sounds like dinner was wonderful, how sweet of dh! I say keep taking the food away when he throws it. Eventually he'll learn.

lissawynn - sorry about the ongoing sore throat. My kids seem to have that lately too. 24 pounds, that's not bad at all. It sounds like a healthy pregnancy to me!

ugh, crying baby throwing himself at my feet, gotta run.

Good morning all!

Alissa--It sounds like things are moving along on the renovations--let's hope they continue to move along!

Tasha--Try not to sweat Kylie's size. Jocelyn was real average the first 3 years or so, then just started growing R-E-A-L-L-Y S-L-O-W-L-Y! No apparent reason. She's now the smallest kid in her grade, but she's fine with it. She has a shirt that says "Good things come in small packages" and her karate motto is "Small but mighty". And did I mention that the bus bully is afraid of her, and he's a good foot taller than she is? The only thing that bugs her, I think, is that Robert (who's 2 years younger than she is), is an inch taller and 4 pounds heavier than she is. And she wants to be a Rockette, if the pathologist thing doesn't pan out, and she may not meet the minimum height. But overall, she's happy with who she is. I do keep in touch with her doctor, and she does grow, just not much. So definitely, keep an eye on things, but try not to over-analyze (yeah, right, like we moms do anything BUT over-analyze!)

Kim--Have fun in NYC. We usually take the train down, but Jocelyn went to Beauty and the Beast last month, and the mom drove down, so I'm thinking maybe it's not so bad to drive as I'm thinking. I hope to take Robert to "Beauty" next summer, so I'm kind of thinking about it now. I did the Christmas show with Jocelyn a couple years back, as a bus trip, and it was awesome.

Stephanie--Up here, it seems like once the rodents are in, they stay, so we definitely are leaving the traps out for the winter. And our tenant told me about a rodent that kept coming back at her old place--it had a white marking, so they knew it was the same guy returning. I'm not super squeamish about rodents, but don't exactly want to make nice, either.

Well, I think we'll go off to the book fair this morning, and pick up one last thing for my exchange buddy. You know, there's always one last thing...

Oh, I forgot to mention--Jocelyn got picked for a ballet solo for her recital! I'm so proud of her! Three girls have solos--luckily, her best friend got one, too. Jocelyn didn't seem to care (she was pretty sure she'd get one, but would have been fine if she didn't), but the firend was real worked up about auditioning and I was hoping they would either both or neither get it. Anyway, this means more extra rehearsals in our copious spare time--sigh! Jocelyn already dances 4 nights a week, for a total of 9 hours, not including her sometimes helping another day for a couple hours. But hey, she loves it, and clearly she's doing fine at it--I guess I'm still scratching my head over how I got this thin, blonde, dancer daughter!

J&D - Love the pics of Jenna!

BNB - :cheer2: Congratulations to Jocelyn, she must be such an awsome gal. I hope to one day meet your family! Wow, what a busy dance schedule. Good luck with it -- for both you and her!

DisKim - have a great time tonight, I can't wait to hear all about it. I'd take the car, just because it'll make getting home a bit easier, and because driving now sounds like a luxery to me

joats - hope you were able to watch Lost last night

Hillbeans - crazy about the light. Good thing no one was there when it exploded!

Robin - hope you are having a nice day

Jill - hope school is going well

Tasha - ditto for you, hope school is going well!

gems - congrats on the test score! (I don't think I was able to mention that before). Sounds like a neat field to get into!

DS has an appointment to meet with a speech therapist today, his preschool teacher had concerns, and earlier this year I did too, but then thought it was better :confused3 Luckily it's on the way to dd's school so we'll walk over there first before getting dd -- good thing it's on the way :thumbsup2 I think it will go fine and that they will agree to see him. Not sure how often or anything, we shall see.

Leif wants my attention, gotta run

Hi! Just went shopping and picked up some stuff for my exchange buddy!! I also kicked butt at Gap and Aeropostale for the girls for Christmas. Since they're getting expensive electronic gifts, I have to find cheap stuff for their other gifts because I like LOTS of gifts under the tree. Anyway, I spent like $50 total on 5 gifts each including jeans, sweatshirts, purses, and messenger bags! Woo hoo!!! Carson is still knocked out in his car seat...we need to play outside today as it's amazingly gorgeous out and it's supposed to drop like 30 degrees by tomorrow.

buzznbell - Yay for Jocelyn!

glt - hope your meeting with the speech therapist goes well - glad it's in walking distance!

tykes - glad you had a fun birthday dinner - how nice of DH to invite some friends along! Hope your little monkey is good for you today!

lissawynn - glad the house is still dry! If you guys are getting our weather for the next day or two, it will be GORGEOUS!! I think your weight gain sounds perfect - hoping they can figure out what is up with your throat and fix it for good...sorry about the gagging, though. Have fun shopping!

sl - hope today is calm! Don't ya just hate those early garbabe trucks? Ours comes by 8 as well.

nucpharm - have fun at the play date - maybe you'll all make some good friends!

tasha - only two more weeks - yay!!!

j&D - What adorable pictures!!!!!

Oh no, someone just woke up and realized he's in his carseat! Hope to finish up later!! DH still hasn't called to tell me how the interview went - I'm assuming they're doing lunch...

Thanks for all the compliments on Jenna's pictures.

Here are some freebies I wanted to share:

I need to jump in the shower. I'll be back later.

Hey - DH just called as he's driving out to his parents' house. I'm so jealous that he's visiting them and our little niece...it's so sad that they haven't met Carson yet. Anyway, it's pretty much a done deal as long as they can pull together a full company move which they're working on. So, still waiting...

Ugh - Hannah's teacher called. Apparantly she isn't keeping up with her latest book/project in reading class. I had a feeling she wasn't reading enough but I feel like she needs to take the responsibility on herself. I remind her and ask her what she needs to do every day but she chooses not to do it, I guess. She's an A-B student, so I would hate to see her just totally mess up. I'm thinking I may ground her from tv/friends for a few days since her teacher had to call - we've never been in this situation before, so I don't know what I should do!

J&D - thanks for the links - I got my sippy cup!

diskim - have fun tonight!!! I'm sure you're already long gone - did you end up driving? I can't imagine doing that!!! We always take the train into Chicago. For Hayley's last b'day we took her to see "Wicked". DH made us leave before curtain call because otherwise we'd have to wait until after midnight to catch a train home. I guess car or train can be a pain!

Ok, gotta go catch up on laundry while Carson plays in his bouncey - I've already used up my "floor gym" time so it's all I have left!!! Hi to all the mommies!!!

Hi Mommies,

dizagain,

I was just talking about Chicago to my Mom. Her and my Dad are flying out of Chicago in December and they are debating if they should drive to the airport from Michigan or take the train in, stay in the city for the night and then catch a shuttle to the airport the next day. Any advice??? I e-mailed my SIL in Chicago but she hasn't gotten back to me yet.

Keep us posted on the move.

bnbmom,

Congratulations to Jocelyn. :cheer2: :cheer2:

We are off to conferences again tonight. Everyone has the day off tomorrow so I am very happy. We have to take the Tahoe in because the tire pressure light is on all the time and there is nothing wrong with the tires. Why does this kind of thing happen right as we are getting ready to sell it?

I measured Kona today while she was sleeping and she is almost 36 inches long. The girl is tall.

Anyone else buy anything at Gymbo today? I bought Kona the houndstooth knickers, the vest and the flower tee from the new line. I had more stuff in my cart but she really doesn't need anything.

I also got some great deals on bedding for her new toddler bed at Pottery Barn Kids. I bought a quilt, 2 pillowcases, 2 shams, a sheet and a bed skirt for under $80. Not bad. I bought a really cute pink and green collection with palm trees, dragon flies and flamingos.

Hi to everyone I missed. :wave2:

J&D_ Jenna makes an adorable Tinkerbell!

Tasha- Oh I know what you mean about Kylie’s size making her so easy to carry. We carried my sister around until she was like 8 years old without a problem. She could still go piggy back at that point and my back wouldn’t hurt. I wouldn’t try that with DBro anymore, and he’s only 3!

Nucpharm- I hope you enjoyed the nice weather.

BNB- Congrats on the ballet solo! DSis(16) danced at the Rockette’s training camp a couple of years ago. The Rockettes really loved her and said “you never know, maybe you’ll grow a few more inches!” She grew about half an inch in the last year, but I’m guessing she’s done now.

GLT- Good luck with the speech therapist.

Disagain- Congrats on the move looking more certain!

Things here are crazy. My brother and his fiancé are closing tomorrow on their house. I’m almost ready for the closing now. My desk is overloaded with papers though and I feel like I’m never going to get unburied. Why can’t I be more organized!!

The Christmas stockings came in the mail yesterday. They’re too cute. DH took one look at my cross-stitch and said “you mean you have to SEW the stockings?? That’s going to take forever!”

I gave DBro his copy of Disney Pixar Cars today. It was too funny. I had to take a picture because he was so cute. I’m going to a bridal show tonight for my friend. The planning is already in the works for the two weddings I’m a part of next fall. Thinking about it makes me ill right now though. I can’t believe I ever got excited at the production it takes to plan a wedding.

Good evening moms! :wave2:

I hope that everyone is doing well! I’m so far behind, but I am going to catch up as best I can. Tomorrow is my last day working in the 5th grade. Even though I only worked for three weeks with the kids, I’ve gotten a little attached to them. They are great kids and I’ve enjoyed every minute of it (even though I’m officially pooped!) And yes, Robin, I should be doing the 4 more weeks…..4 more weeks chant! :cool1: I’ve actually got two classes the week of the 11th, but nothing is due then so in my book I’ve got 4 weeks. That being said, I’ve still got a bunch of work to do over the next month. My MIL comes here in less than two weeks so I need to try to get as much done as I can now. It isn’t working out too well b/c Mr. John has been a fussy boy lately. I’m also a little burnt out with the studying, but I need to keep at it. Ok, enough about me.....

GLT – How are you doing? Are you still without a car? It sounds like you have a lot going on! :grouphug: BTW, your new picture in your signature is great. You have such beautiful kids. Good luck with speech therapy. My oldest had speech therapy and John will need it too due to his cleft repair. Keep us posted on how it goes.

BNBmom – Congrats to Jocelyn! :thumbsup2 That is wonderful news about her solo in ballet!

Dizagain – Hi! I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you that they are able to do a full company move for you. :wizard:

Ginamarie – You sound like a great lawyer that is extremely efficient especially with not having to go to court! :goodvibes Good luck to your brother and his fiancé tomorrow. Are you handling the closing for them?

Tamie – Happy Belated Birthday!!!! :bday: :bday: Your dh sounds like such a sweetie for inviting lots of people to celebrate your birthday. I don’t have advice for Tyler’s food throwing. John is doing it too and I don’t know what to do. At least my dog is eating well. BTW, your itinerary sounds great! We are huge fans of Beaches and Cream!

J&D – We missed you! Jenna is so adorable as Tinkerbell! I’m glad that your computer is working again.

Joats – Did you ever figure out what was causing your rash? I’m glad to hear that you all are doing well.

DisKim – Have fun at the show!! I love the Christmas Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall. Congrats to your dh on his raise! :woohoo:

Fabumouse – How are you doing? Sorry that your computer was messed up and they couldn’t figure out the problem.

Tasha – We miss you too! :goodvibes Good luck with finishing up everything with school!! It will be over before you know it!

Nucpharm – How did the playdate with the neighbor go? Your weather sounds amazing! We bounce between cold and warm and it is making us crazy.

SL – I love the new picture of Lucas. I hope that your headache is all gone!

Lissawynn – It sounds like your house is coming along. I hope that the contractors are able to get a lot accomplished with the good weather. You poor thing with your throat too! I hope that they can figure out what is going on so you can feel better soon. :grouphug:

Robin – Are you feeling better? I had to laugh about the drumstick and the couch. :teeth: That is something Katie would do. I’m actually afraid to look under my sofa (or behind it so see what the girls have left.)

I hope that Justhat is having an amazing vacation!!! :wizard:

Floridafam – How are you doing? That is great about your husband being able to take all that time off around Thanksgiving and Christmas. :goodvibes Here’s hoping too that all works out for your son’s teacher. That would be wonderful if she was pregnant.

Zalansky – I hope that you feel better soon too. :grouphug: Are you on antibiotics for the Lyme disease? Will they keep checking you to make sure it is gone?

Gems – I’m glad to hear that your c-section is all taken care of. Wow, about your IL’s buying a house for your BIL. Sorry to hear that they won’t help you with your business.

Hillbeans – How scary about the light fixture exploding! I’m glad that no one was in the room at the time. I think I missed your post about Mary Poppins. Was that a show on Broadway? It sounds like it would be neat!

Bellacam – I hope Aidan’s diaper rash is better! How are you feeling these days?

Hi to everyone!! :wave2: I’m sorry if I missed anyone! I better call it a night. I’ll try to check in when I can.

Holy Moly, I just realized that our exchange packages need to be mailed by next Wednesday! I bought some stuff, but I need to get on the ball and finish it up!! :santa:

Happy Birthday Tamie!!! :bday: Glad you had a nice dinner. LOL about Tyler being a monkey climbing on everything.

Thanks for the Exchange Reminder - YIKES!!! I've got to go shopping!

Dizagain - Good luck with DH's relocation package from work. I hope it all works out for you.

Floridafam - Kona is very tall at 36 inches!!! princess:

J&D - I loved Jenna's pictures!!! :cloud9: Thanks for sharing! (and for the links also).

BNB - Congratulations Jocelyn!!!! :Pinkbounc :cheer2:

Alissa - i'm so glad to hear things are going well with your renovations. I think we had close to 4 inches of rain yesterday and i'm glad to hear that the rain didn't affect you.

SL - Glad to hear you finished your project today. Our garbage truck comes before 7 am also. We're usually just leaving for work, but sometimes we're rushing to get the can to the curb on time.

Nucpharm - glad to hear Matthew's doctor visit went well. He sounds healthy and happy! Sorry to hear about the shots - the 1 year visit is usually the most shots - ugh!

Tasha - only 2 weeks of school to go!!! It's almost done. I also agree with the other mom's and wouldn't worry too much about Kylie's size. My friend's daughter used to be so tiny but somewhere between 3 and 4 she kind of caught up with everyone. I wouldn't worry too much about it - She's a sweet little girl. How have things been at daycare with her diapers and the woman who changes her? I hope things are better.

Alice - LOL - I completely agree about Edita's dresses....those swoopy droopy dresses with a bra and no underwear had to go! I have to admit i've kind of lost interest over the last few weeks. It's so drawn out and over 2 days that I just kind of fell out of interest at the end of the show. I do like Cheryl and Emmitt though but I have to admit my favorites were Willa and Max (and I liked Jerry's partner Kim).

Gottalovethem - let us know what the speech teacher says. Hope you and the family are doing ok otherwise. :grouphug: Love the new sig. pictures

Hi to Jill, Loretta, Bellacam, Cabmom, Diskim, Val, ginamarie, and all of my other mom friends! Our group is so large now i'm going to have to keep a sticky note by my computer to make sure to say hello to everyone by name.

Thanks to everyone for your well wishes about the bathroom light. It was so weird. I cleaned it up and now I just need to get a new glass cover for the light at some point. All of the bulbs (3) are still working - weird. :confused3

Today I went for my annual exam. It went well - I talked with my Doctor in length about various things, about how he's not delivering babies anymore and about his kids at college, my kids, etc. Of course while I was in the waiting room someone had a 5 week old baby and he was adorable! That alone made me realize that i'm not quite 100% ready to shut the door on having one more - I doubt I will, but even my doctor said he thinks I should wait a few years. (TMI ALERT - ) We talked about BC and decided i'd use the Nuva Ring. Has anyone seen one of these things? It has the consistancy of a glow necklace but it's clear and about the size of small bracelet and you insert it and it stays inside for 3 weeks and then you take it out for one week. He tested it out on me and told me to "practice" a few times alone while I was in the office - LOL - that was FUNNY. I finally got the hang of it after a few tries but it wasn't easy! The ring has Estrogen in it and it gives off a small amount over the course of the 3 weeks. What us women have to go through! Oh, and I have to store them in the refrigerator....LOL.

Oh well, have a good night everyone!

Ahhhhhh....I was able to partake in some serious retail therapy today! It was awesome! I got to my mom's about 9:30 and we were at the super mall by 10:15. My parents have a handicapped sign in their van for my dad's bum knee, so we got a prime parking spot. First stop: Gymbo. I got an outfit from the Peruvian doll line, as did my mom. Molly also got two nighties and an outfit I bought from Mix n Match...The top is a tad too snug, and I was going to exchange it at another Gymbo tomorrow, but she slopped some of my Diet Coke on it already. :sad2: (I changed her clothes after she drooled chocolate See's on the other top!). I still might head to the Gymbo that always has lots of leftovers from old lines tomorrow, as I am now stuck on the fact she 'needs' the matching socks or tights. Then I got my Clinique at Macy's and they had free samples of the 3-step stuff- what I use twice daily, so I was stoked to have some sample sizes for WDW. Let's see, off to Janie and Jack to drool, but no purchasing. Next, William Sonoma- man, this store is so much fun! I tried a sample of their pumpkin bread with pumpkin butter frosting- where is the drooling smilie? I suggested to my mom to get DH a gift card for xmas for there, since he also loves all their gadgets and sauces/spices. Went to Sears, found a Lands End top for myself, went to the Disney Store, saw lots of things I liked for the kids (including an abundance of the plush Little Einstein stuff- that is cute SL!), but didn't buy anything. Got Molly some nuggets at Mcdonalds somewhere in there, and then we decided to skip Cheesecake Factory as I felt she wouldn't sit through it as she just ate. Bummer. Went to Target and got something else for my buddy and I think we were done at that point! It was great!

Tasha- Sounds like Kylie is healthy and that's all that matters! Glad you only have 2 weeks left of some of your courses.

lissa- glad that house stayed dry! I think 24 pounds is a totally normal amount to have gained. I bet you will only gain another 10 pounds or so.

BNB- Yay for Jocelyn for getting on of the solos! That's awesome!

Diz- here's still hoping that the company still pays for a full move! Way to go on the shopping deals today! :woohoo:

GM- I agree with wedding planning- just can't get into at all anymore. Baby showers and planning however, I love! Good luck to your brother and his closing tomorrow! And have fun cross stitching the stockings- you will have to share a picture when you are done.

FF- why are you going to sell your Tahoe? I hate it when things like that happen when you are about to sell a car; it's happened to us 2-3 times. What kind of car are you going to get instead? Gosh, Kona IS tall! Last time Molly was measured I think she was 32 or 32.5 inches and that was in September. I would guess she's grown another inch since then? I'm bummed about that 18-24 top I bought her tonight- my mom said she can adjust the back so it will go on and off again easier....why did she have to slop soda on it? I could have so easily exchanged it. Oh well.

Tamie- I feel like the only things I have heard about ABC Comm. is negative, but maybe it's different for breakfast. I mean, it's pretty hard to screw up pancakes.

Nuc- how was your run?

Well, I don't know much else! This post has taken me over an hour to complete, between phone calls, making the kids dinner, other interruptions, etc. I have to go to urgent care tonight because my pink eye came back again this AM. I just don't think it's ever truly gone away. I talked with the nurse on the phone about it, and they wanted me to come in today or tomorrow; I was like, "Oh boy, I have all 3 kids with me, would it be OK to go to Urgent Care even though it's not truly Urgent?" And she said, "Absolutely- anytime something like this doesn't go away, you need to be seen, no matter what the time."

Evening ladies. I'll post the updated pics of the house tomorrow. They have the windows in the front and the front of the house is closed off. DH and I are going to have a small window put in before the peak of the roof. If we don't it'll be too much siding.

I hit the motherload at Gymboree. I managed to buy tops and bottoms for DH's three nieces and two nephews and jammies for Jimmy, my nephew, and my mom's boyfriend's granddaughter. I spent $135 for everything after my discount and the $5 for shipping. I guess I don't have to go to Old Navy this weekend and stuff my bag. Maybe I'll pick up a new sweater or two for me to cover my belly.

ff - I saw your post about the tire pressure in your Tahoe. My warning came on twice since we had the car and it was b/c of a change in temp. After DH adjusted the tire pressue, it went off.

I hope you all have a good night. I'm beat and will be lucky to make it through Grey's.
