I'm just checking in while I wait for my husband to come home to give Madison her bath (bath has become his full time job). Wow, I feel like I've actually been on the boards a lot the past couple of days, but still I get behind.

Yes, I am still so, so sick, but the past 2 days I have at least felt okay till around noon or so. Then I get so hungry that I have to eat something and then the sickness starts in. With Madison I didn't really have too many problems with what I ate. I was still pretty sick with her everyday, and never wanted to eat anything, but the little I did eat didn't make me feel sick. This time though, I don't feel like eating anything ever, but then I get super-hungry, which makes me more nauseous, so then I eat, then whatever the food is somehow gets me sick too. So no matter what I feel like I can't win. With Madison I was sick till 18 weeks, so I look at it that I only have 8 more weeks of this, hopefully less. It still seems like forever to me, but when I remember that I have already passed 10 weeks it doesn't seem so bad. Of course, I wasn't sick till 5.5 weeks but I try to keep that out of my mind.

Vald, sorry to hear you've still been under the weather. I'll be wishing good thoughts your way for the interview though!

DisKim, I know you don't find it funny, but I was LOL at your description of your tax man. Sounds like the woman who took Madison's photos at JCPenney-maybe they're related. She was so smelly we couldn't wait to get out of there so I can only imagine having to go over something as exciting as taxes with the man.

Gems, I love the photo of Shelby! So adorable! I can't believe she's sitting up already-what a big girl!

InsideBall, your highchair sounds very cute. I've never seen one like that around here.

Nucpharm glad that you're enjoying your trip to see your family. I am not a cold weather fan either so those temps sound great to me.

Okay, Daddy is home so time to get the munchkin ready for her bath.

Gems- LOVE the pic of Shelby and her buddy! So cute! And Congrats on the 4 lb weight loss! WAY TO GO!!!

DisKim- we just filed with TurboTax and I guess it was easy according to DH. We've gone that route the last 4 years or so I would guess. I hope you are able to figure it out and not go to yellow fungus nail tax man! :rotfl2: Ew!

Nucpharm- I'm not sure what to do about the bottle dilemma either. #1 and #3 have been easy peasy for me to nurse and switch to the Playtex bottles to supplement....#2 however was a pooper, just like your little guy. He would eventually take it from the babysitter when he was starving but never from me. It was so hard. And that little bugger nursed til he was 26 months. Ugh. He even told DH today (he knew this cause he asked me if he liked his bottle and pacifier like Molly and I said, no, you just liked to eat off mommy) "I didn't like ba-bas and pacifiers Daddy....I only liked Momma's boo-boos----they're right...................(and he pauses to feel me up!!!) HERE!" I just about died....DH just gave me this look like, Nice one Robin....our kid is a nutcase. He's what we call our TAG child- DH is already deeming his Talented and Gifted...whatever. He's extremely smart but also the biggest fart I've ever seen. :teeth:

What else...I dunno. We'll see about the home repairs...right now we're dreaming and it looks good on paper, but we'll see how it all works out budgetwise. I HAVE to pay off the Visa first and get a few months of regular budgeting under our belt. But I keep dreaming of that Corian blue counter and white cabinets.

Val- your tooth pain sounds HORRIFIC! Gives me the jitters- I hope you get it taken care of ASAP- tooth infections can be very dangerous! :grouphug: Good luck with your job interview! Let us know how it goes.

I don't know much else. I think I'm ready for DH to go back to work (tomorrow). I'm not quite used to this much together time, and although on the one hand it's great, on the other hand I need some alone time to be productive around this house! you know what I mean?

I wish I had a WDW trip in the works....I joked with DH today that if they do that free dining plan again this Aug/Sept, let's go, put it on the Disney Visa so it's interest free for 6 months, and then pay it when our tax return comes in February. He didn't say no! But then again, that's only if free dining appears again. That was the most awesome thing EVER since I am so anal about constantly opening the billfold for meals on vacation. It's SO expensive!

Hi everyone!

I've been trying to get a block of time to reply to these last 4 pages however when I get home at night after work it's next to impossible and at work I only try to post if i'm on my lunch.

I'm so glad that you all agree that no one here would ever ignore someone's post. This thread does move fast and sometimes posts are lost in the shuffle, but I think we're such a great group of ladies that if a post was missed, it certainly was not intentional.

I also just realized - Tamie - that for the past year i've been calling you Tykes, and not Tkyes......DUH. Sorry Tamie! I LOVE the pictures of Tyler also, he's adorable!!

And Strawberry Lemonade - What a cute pic!!!!

Gotta run - baby's crying. We go for his 4 month shots and check up tomorrow.

Ok. I just posted last night and tonight I was going to try to reply to all. So then I log on and 4 PAGES!!! Since last night! Wow, you mommies sure are busy!

I was sad to hear that people feel that no one responds to them. This place has been so informative and supportive for me.

Alice: I just have to say how happy I am that DH is back. It is so nice to see your pictures.
Justhat: Sorry to hear about the MS. I had it real bad with Jace. I can't imagine what it is like to have it and take care of a child too. I'm torn on your i-pod dilemma.
KarenTx: I also heard Cosco is not recommended. I have the Britax Roundabout but we considered the Evenflo line as well.
SL: love the pic of Lucas and his new table. Look how good he is supporting himself up!
Gems: Jace has eczema too in his folds (knees, elbows). Our Dr recommeded Aquaphor and Eucerin creme. I grease him up daily. It helps.
DisKim: Wow, you are on top of things...Great job on starting your taxes.
Your taxman=
Val: Good luck on your job interview...let us know how it goes.
J&D: Sorry to hear about your leak & your MIL= :crazy2:
Oh and thank you so much we have the Winnie the Pooh teether - it's going in the trash!
Lissawyn: I love Jimmy's birthday photo! Everytime I see it I think "King Jimmy". :)
Nucpharm: Getting Jace to switch to the bottle was a nightmare! Ventaires worked for us after many bottle trials. Have you tried Dr. Browns?
Zalansky: I can't believe a 2 hour wait!! Oh man, I would be so bummed!
Jill: Thank you for always responding to all! Happy 3month Bday to JP!!
Hi Bellacam, DisneyPhD and anyone else I missed since last night.

PHEW!!!

I do appreciate all the kind thoughts towards Jace. The spleen (I think Alice asked?) is what fights infections in the body but having it removed is the only way to not be anemic. However, that being said, I tend to get sick anytime anyone around me is sick as I have nothing to fight infections. But, the blood disorder is doable - my mom, brother, uncle, cousin and little two year old nephew have it also. Jace's Dr specializes in hemotology. I picked her just in case. SL: I work in North Haven. We're thinking of moving out of Fairfield Cnty and up to NH county.

Question for all of you: Do you do something special for bathtime so that your back does not kill? I wish Jace would fit back in the sink again as my back is killing me everytime he gets a bath. Any secrets or will my back just get used to it?

Have a good night! :teeth:

ETA: Hi Hillbeans! Good luck with appt tomorrow
"also just realized - Tamie - that for the past year i've been calling you Tykes, and not Tkyes......DUH. Sorry Tamie! I LOVE the pictures of Tyler also, he's adorable!!" OH MY GOSH - I have been too! DUH from me too!!

Hillbeans - Is that a new picture of Liam in your signature? I don't remember seeing it. He's so cute and getting so big.

Alice28 - The home repairs sound wonderful. I really need to do some work on this house, but I need to decide if we're staying here first. Oh, and I highly reccomend you take advantage of the free dining if it happens again. It was AWESOME. We ate like pigs. I realized we had issues when we found ourselves chomping down on Mickey ice cream bars on our way to eat dinner at Le Cellier The only thing that was not awesome was the congo heat in August. I've been there in July and the heat didn't seem to bother me as much.

Valerie - I'm so sorry about your tooth pain. How awful! Good luck at your job interview :sunny:

Edited to add:

Joats - I still use an infant tub. It's called the "newborn to toddler bathtub" and I got it at BRU. I put Aidan in it and put it inside the regular tub. That way, he is sitting up comfortably on the toddler side of the tub and I can wash him easily.

Clearly I am bored silly today and keep checking the DIS, but LOL :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl: at your description of free dining! We did it too- I went with my parents and the kids in September and I felt like a freaking Queen being able to order whatever I wanted. I think we used most of our snack credits for water and Diet Cokes to fight the "Congo" (HAHAHAHA) heat! I asked DH last night if he could handle Orlando at the end of August and he was all, "Yeah, I'm not freaky about the heat like you are!" I guess so after sitting in 140 degrees in Iraq. But it's that humidity that's the killer.

I've already got a base quote for the WL for 6 nights in late Aug (value season)---with hoppers and dining it's....$2900! I need it at about $2100 (ahem, free dining or buy 3 get 7) to work it at about $3000 (IF I can get the $200 SWA flights). Please Disney code gods, throw me a bone!

Gem - Adorable picture of Shelby and her friend! Congrats on your weight loss also.

nucpharm - Enjoy that great weather!

Inside Ball - That highchair sounds cute. If I ever found a Mickey Mouse one I'd get it.

DisKim - I understand completely about not wanting to see that tax guy. You just can't ignore something like that. Ew!

Vald - Good luck with your interview tomorrow. I used to work at a daycare. The woman I work for now is actually the parent of a girl I had in my daycare class.

justhat - That stinks your MS is so bad. Hope you feel better sooner rather than later!

Alice28 - Good luck to your DH returning to work tomorrow.

Hillbeans - Cute picture of Liam in your signature! Good luck at the dr. tomorrow.

joats - Cute new pictures in your signature also! Jace looks so big in his car seat. We bathe Lucas in the infant/toddler tub placed in our big tub also. I haven't found an easy way to do it.

My boss asked me to come in 4 days a week during February to work on yet another project that came in today. The extra $$ in my paycheck will be nice, but I hope they don't think I'm going to change my schedule permanently. I'll probably go 4 days when Lucas is older, but I like working every other day for now.

If anyone is planning a trip to WDW in early October, I'd LOVE to meet up!

Oh mommies, you know those days when you know with in mins of waking up that what every you happened to have planed was out the window? Lily was hot and buggery when I got her this moring. She has been one miserible cookie all day (even with dimtap, tyenol and Motrain.) As the day goes on you start to realize that everything you have planned for tmw and the next day are gone too (and the next day.) I was going to get a faical at the health club to day (treat for myself, 1st time) oh well there will always be another time for that. I just hate it when babies are sick. She nursed good, but walked around all day saying and signing "eat, eat" and refused most everything I give her. :guilty:

Ok bottles, sorry can't help Lily never really took one well, the good news is once they get a we bit bigger then can take cups. It won't last forever. As my Doc said, she has enough fat on her theighs to go a few hours, don't worry about it. ;) :rotfl:

Ok, as far as tubs go, either DH or I always just got in with them and held them. Even now DH still gets in sometimes (but he wears his underwear in the tub and just gets them wet.) I am not too shy about it, the girls see me naked all the time, heck one still suck on me. :teeth: :rotfl: There was a big to do about it on the "bathing with kids thread." I was amazed there were some people who thought it was a no no. Still doesn't change my thinking. It is a bit of work, much safer and fun too. :goodvibes

Joats, I actually gave up bath duty cause it hurts my back and with the constant morning sickness I couldn't handle it anymore. I have to admit I feel bad about missing out though cause I hear her laughing in there all the time. Anyway, what we use now is called the SnugTub, it's an inflatable bathtub that fits inside the regular bathtub. It doesn't help too much with your back, but it does help a little which is better than nothing. The reason I think it works well is that since it's inflatable, they're a tiny bit higher than the regular tub, plus the sides are cushioned so if they tip over you don't have to worry about them getting hurt so much. And it really keeps them contained well, and has some toys on the sides, plus it has a cut out for their head so you can lean them back to wash their hair. It was pretty cheap, I think $19, and we bring it with us on vacation cause once it's deflated it doesn't take up any space at all. Also, you could use it outside the tub if you really wanted to, like on the kitchen counter, but ours isn't big enough so I haven't tried. But if yours is, you could just position the drain hole over the sink and then sit the rest of it on the counter.

Hillary, I love the new photo of Liam. His eyes are beautiful!

SL, I was planning a trip for October, but the baby sorta changed that cause I'd have to go alone and that seems pretty challenging. I think we'll head to DL instead cause I can get my mom to come along cause she's got a convention in Phoenix. Otherwise I would have definitely met up with you! We will be there 3/17-3/22 so if anyone is there then let me know! Other than that, I think my best hope will be to meet Jill at a DC DIS meet.

ETA: DisneyPhD, we always got in the tub with Madison too. Joey would wear a swimsuit on his days (seriously, even when Madison was like 6 weeks old) but I just went in naked with her. So, so much easier when she was little. I used the baby bathtub literally twice and that was that. This time I think I might have to use it more often cause I won't have the luxury of just bathing with a baby whenever I want, but with Madison it was so much easier. We didn't switch to the snug tub till she was about 19 or 20 months old.

Joats,
Sorry to hear that Jace has the blood disorder. I hope he won't need transfusions.

zalansky,
I must have somehow misssed your post saying you were going to wdw to try EE. I'm so sorry that the wait was two hours! I feel completely spoiled by FP and won't wait for anything longer than 20 minutes. At least you got some nice time with your dh, right?

Justthat,
We always found a lightweight umbrella stroller (ours had a sunshade and basket similar to what another poster described as their $40 stroller) was the way to go for WDW. That way it was easy to tote around and I wasn't worried about it getting stolen or broken.

Diskim,
We always do our taxes online (well DH does) and have never had a problem. He usually helps at least one or two of his friends do theirs also and always finds a way to get them more back than they expected. I don't think I'd be wanting to spend much time with the yellow fingernail guy either :crazy2: !

DisneyPhd,
I hope Lily feels better tomorrow. I just hate when my kids are sick.

You guys have me seriously excited over the possibility of a trip in the fall if they did free dining. Honestly, Disney is one of the main reasons that I am looking into getting a job. Sick obsession, isn't it? Robin, your base quote doesn't sound too bad. Right now I have a 6 night at the POFQ saved with dining for $2270 in April. Oh how I wish I could say screw the bills and take our tax return and go.

As far as bathing a baby, I never found a comfortable way. With DS, DH and I used to take him in the shower with us (oh the shame  !). Katrina has always hated baths so far so I do sponge baths with her. I feel it gets her just as clean (maybe even cleaner since I can really get into all the creases) and doesn't murder my back and make her scream. So it works for us. I have taken her into the shower with me a few times also.

I saw the thread asking the question about parents bathing with their kids and I knew enough not to even venture on that one :furious: . I really try to stay away from some of the hot button threads but sometimes I read them just for fun :lmao: .

Well, since I am posting you can guess that I did get Katie to sleep in her bed tonight. I don't know if she will stay there or not but I thought I would take my reprieve and post a bit more since as soon as I finished my last post I remembered a bunch more I wanted to say. Hope everyone has a great night  .

Hi, everyone!

Just stopping by to say hi. I have a lot of housework to do, so I can't respond to all of the posts made today. Thanks for letting me vent last night and for your words of support.

Our carpet is finally dry. However, it has started to smell, so we need to pull it up and probably replace the pad underneath. I am so tired of things going wrong around our house.

I missed out on the Christmas exchange that Tasha had organized. Anyone interested in an Easter exchange? I wouldn't mind organizing it.

I better go! TTFN

Um, where is tasha anyway? (she didn't get banned did she? Sometimes people just dis-apear around here and we never know why.)

No, she wasn't banned, she's having computer trouble. She PMed me her e-mail address if you want it so we could all keep in touch with her.

justhat said:

Oh good, wow, she has been "missing" for a while. Tell her we all miss her and hope is and Klyie is doing well. :teeth:

All right! I am able to post again! For some reason Internet Explorer has not been letting me post...I have no idea why! It keeps giving me an error message. I can read the boards all day if I want but cannot post. I finally got smart and downloaded firefox a minute ago and here I am! I just wish I had done it sooner! Thanks for worrying about me for those of you who asked! I am fine but you have no idea how frustrating it is to read this board and not be able to post especially since we have a possible trip in the works!

Anyway, I think it is safe to say I am pretty far behind since I have been unable to post in about 3 weeks! I will not be able to respond to all that I read and I apologize about that but I have been keeping up, I promise! That being said I think it is rather silly to think of this thread as an exclusive clique. Yes, a lot of us have known eachother since we were preg. and feel a "bond" I guess, but we are by no means exclusive. There are plenty of members on this thread that were not on the OMTB thread with us and they fit in just fine! I mean no disrespect to those that did not feel welcome but part of this thread is just jumping in and joining! No, not everyone will respond to you. We have A LOT of moms and this thread FLIES! Plus, we are busy and have infants and toddlers to take care of! There is no way that everyone can respond to you, that doesn't mean we are ignoring you! We welcome all new moms. Some of the moms on here just joined a month or 2 ago and have been posting nearly every day and we are glad they are here. Sometimes it takes a couple of posts to get in the groove so to speak! So please join us and we will try our best to make you feel welcome. That being said, don't leave the thread the first time you feel you aren't getting enough responses! I promise you that no one on this thread is answered every single time they post. I know I'm not and that's okay. I still feel the love, lol! And 2sweetangels, if you are reading this, I have to say I am REALLY surprised you feel we ignored you! You posted quite a bit for a while there and I remember responding to you as well as others responding to you. And you even participated in the Christmas exchange with us so I am kind of confused as to why you felt ignored? :confused3 I am very sorry you feel that way though and hope you will come back eventually! And I also want to go on record and say that although I will try to respond to posts as often as I can I know for a fact I will not respond to all. I just don't always have the time or the patience to try to remember it all and I am no where near as organized as Jill! ;) I have done the notepad thing once or twice but don't do it often. So if I don't respond to your post I am sorry. But we are all old enough that I would think we could understand that some posts do get skipped over from time to time and we should be able to get past that and move on. Again sorry if I offended anyone. One of my character flaws is I tend to speak my mind and can be very blunt from time to time! :rolleyes1

Anyway, Kylie had pink eye last week and today was the last day I had to give her eye drops thankfully! Her eyes look fine now but she is starting to sound a little congested. She doesn't sound too bad yet and isn't acting sick and has no fever. She has her 9 month checkup next Tues. (can't believe she will be 9 months on Sunday!) so I will have her pediatrician check her out then. Hopefully she will be fine until then. Scott also has his 3rd follow up appt. for his toe that day. So far everything looks good and I am hoping this will be his final follow up!

We are dedicating Kylie at our church Feb. 12 and I just bought a really pretty white easter dress for it at JCPenneys. I looked at some of the baptism gowns and it is hard to find one in her size right now and I can't fathom spending that much for one right now either. The easter dress works pretty well! I am really excited about it and we have a lot of family coming for it. My ex-stepsister is 14 and I rarely see her (she is also my half-sisters' half-sister but we are in no way related! Confused yet? ;) ) and she is going to go with us to it. Then I think we are going to take her and my 2 sisters out for lunch afterwards. I am looking forward to that day very much!

Kylie is pulling herself up on everything these days and she is a real nightmare during naps and at bedtime now! We lay her down and she stands up and either plays or screams to get out of her crib! It takes about 4 attempts to get her to go to sleep. Before she learned to stand we would be able to get her to bed around 7 at the latest. Now that she has started standing her bedtime is quickly turning into 10 p.m.! That's good in a way though b/c that means she will be able to stay up later when we go to WDW! :teeth:

Speaking of WDW, we are hoping to go the first week of May (Kylie's b-day is May 5) but we are waiting to see how our tax refund is first. We are expecting a decent one but due to dh's company getting bought out in October we have to wait on 3 W-2s! We received the one from his old company but are still waiting on 2 from his new company! They are sending one for his salary and one for his commission. I don't know why they won't just combine it but oh, well. I wish they'd hurry! I know we are putting some of it in savings for Kylie (thought about opening a 529 account for it but after researching it decided a savings account would be better due to personal reasons) but I really want to take a trip with some of it too. Anyway, I'll let you know what happens with that!

Okay, this is getting long and I need to play catch up anyway. I will start a new post to respond to some of the more recent posts! I am SOOO glad I can finally post again!!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: I missed "talking" to all of you!

Wow! There is sooo much to respond to and I know I am skipping some things but I am doing the best I can so bear with me!

Karentx~ Welcome! I don't think I was able to post when you joined so here is my "official" welcome to you! :wave2: When is your dd's b-day? I know you said she was 9 months so I am thinking she is pretty close to my dd's b-day. Anyway, as far as carseats we have a Graco Comfortsport and really like it. I would like to look at a Britax sometime based on reviews but haven't seen any around our area for some reason. That's okay, you have to order maternity clothes here too since the stores don't seem to carry any here either! :confused3

justhat~ I don't know what I really would do about the stoller situation as it is easier to say what I would do without actually being in your shoes. If I was in your shoes I may not think the same way. But anyway, I *think* I would get a nice lightweight stroller for Disney and wait on the good stroller until closer to your due date and let your dh have his toy. But like I said so much easier to say when I am not in your situation. We are in the process of looking into buying a new stoller ourselves. I sold our clunky one back in November. My mom bought it for us but I really didn't like it that much. Of course I did not realize I wouldn't like it until after we used it. I then bought a lightweight one at walmart and I HATE it! It doesn't adjust in height and I have to hunch over it. I am only 5'6" so it must be made for a 4' person is all I can think! I think we are going to get the Graco safari themed lightweight stroller for now. I tested Kylie in it at Toys R Us a few days ago and she seemed to like it and it was much nicer than what she has currently. It is about $60 but I am getting it cheaper due to taking surveys and receiving gift cards for Toys R Us. I think I will probably end up getting a double stroller eventually but don't know. Dh wants to start ttc our 2nd child this fall. I don't know. I still have mixed feelings about it so I guess I don't plan to make any definite decisions about that until the time is here and I let him know that. But if we do end up ttc we will have our kids within an even smaller age gap than Madison and your new baby so I am thinking a double stroller may end up being the way to go for us! Guess we'll see! I am definitely getting a nice lightweight stroller for Disney for now though!

SL~ Thanks so much for being my "messenger" the past couple of weeks! And I love all the pics you have posted of Lucas lately. He is so cute! I still insist on "fixing" him up with Kylie someday! ;) Good luck with the temporary work schedule!

nuchpharm29~ Glad you had a safe trip! I know what you mean about the weather. We live in MS and our weather has been up in the 60s and 70s quite a few times this month. Doesn't feel like winter at all! I love it!!! I hate the cold too though if you didn't already guess that!

Gems~ Aw! Love the picture of Shelby and her friend! Adorable!

Hillbeans~ I was able to see your pictures and they are really good! You look great btw! Oh, and for those who can't see it if you right-click on the little red x and select properties you can then highlight the address and copy and paste it into your address bar. It will pull up the pictures for you!

J & D~ Try not to let your MIL get to you! My MIL can be a piece of work sometimes too! All that matters is that you tried really hard for Jenna and she was happy either way. And if it makes you feel any better part of the reason we are going to WDW during Kylie's b-day is so we can skip having a big party for her. We were going to originally but both sides of our families have been so wishy-washy about it that we decided to skip it all together and noone even seems to care! It makes me sad that noone is interested in her 1st b-day but what can you do? :guilty: She will have a better time in WDW with just mommy and daddy anyway! Oh, and I am not making her a cake either! I am a store-bought cake person all the way! I will probably buy her a cake either before or after WDW so that she can have the first b-day cake experience and I can get some adorable pictures!

DisKim~ Wow! I can't believe it has been 1 year since you were put on bed rest! I remember when you first started posting as you and I were due at nearly the same time and I remember we both were getting restless toward the end since neither baby wanted to be born until the last minute, lol! Doesn't that seem like only yesterday and at the same time a lifetime ago?! Oh, and I hope you have a great time in NC. I used to live there when I was little but don't remember much about it!

vald~ I hope you feel better soon and I am wishing you lots of luck during your interview. I used to teach preschool to 2-3 year olds and I really enjoyed it for the most part but it could be stressful too.

Joats~ Sorry to hear about Jace's blood disorder! Hopefully everything will work out! As far as baths, I have always just got in the bath with her until recently. Oh, and I never thought of that as weird so I was pretty surprised by some of the people on the other thread about it. Now I sometimes just put her in the bath by herself when I don't feel like getting in with her but it is torture on my back. She loves the water though! She will actually put her face in the water! I figured it would freak her out the 1st time she did that but she came up smiling and did it again! She even "kisses" the water! She kisses everything these days though since it is a game to her!

Alice~ I am so happy your dh is home and love seeing the pictures of him with Molly! I would definitely love to meet up someday at WDW but I am with lissawynn and think 2-3 years from now would be better due to money issues for us. Of course you all can meet up before then as long as you promise to do it again when I can, lol! ;) If any of you are going the 1st week of May this year though let me know and we will try to meet up! My problem is that dh has a hectic winter schedule and is only allowed to take vacation time during March-August and they'd actually prefer he not go in March. So if I go during those times it would be fine but any other time I would have to come w/o dh. Which I have done numerous times but my mom has always gone with me. I doubt she'd be interested in a meet type trip so I'd either have to go on my own or with dh. He is just paranoid of me being alone that far away which I can understand. But I am definitely game to trying to meet up when we can! I was hoping to go the last week of Sept. this year but his boss won't let him go then. If that had happened I might have been able to meet up with SL but oh, well. Maybe it will happen another time! Oh, and Robin, I completely cracked up picturing your 4 year old feeling you up! :lmao:

Hi to all the other moms and sorry for those I missed! It wasn't intentional!

Good morning! I have so much catching up to do! I got to school early this morning to copy my stuff and get ready for my day. Well, both copiers were acting up and I didn't get most of the stuff I wanted.

It's going to be one heck of a day!

I'll catch with you all later!

J&D - That's too bad about having to replace the carpet pad. It seems like it's always something with a house, doesn't it? We have hardwood floors throughout our entire house (tile in the kitchen and bathroom) and I'd love to have carpeting put in either the living room or at least Lucas's room. When he falls over, there's no cushion so he's gotten a few bumps on the head. I'd be interested in doing an Easter exchange if you get enough people.

Tasha - Good to see you again! Good luck with Kylie's dedication. I hope you'll take some pictures!

You know, I recently read the clique thread (AFTER I heard about it here and posted my reply about it a couple pages back) and I have to admit, I'm kind of confused by what was said about our thread. I may have had a slightly different reply if I knew. Oh well, I just hope everyone knows this is not an exclusive group and we welcome all. I guess that's probably all I should say on the subject.

I remember hearing about free dining last year, but I didn't look into it. Is that with a certain package or something like that?

All right! 2sweetangels, if you are reading this, I have to say I am REALLY surprised you feel we ignored you! You posted quite a bit for a while there and I remember responding to you as well as others responding to you. And you even participated in the Christmas exchange with us so I am kind of confused as to why you felt ignored? :confused3 I am very sorry you feel that way though and hope you will come back eventually!

This on got me too. I was just wondering the other day where she had gone to. I had Hayley for my swap baby and then they seemed to disapear. I don't want to beat a dead horse, but I never intentionaly leave anyone out. I respond to things I can offer input on and thats that. This thread flies and its impossible to get to everything.

With that said, I am running to Aidan's 6 month appointment today and will update later.

T&S - Good to see you!

Welcome back Tasha!! That's so exciting that Kylie might be spending her 1st birthday in WDW. I know I posted this before when you were gone, but I bet she'll love Pop. She seems like she's really alert and interested in what's going on around her so I'm sure she'll have a great trip. Oh, and Madison was older when she was christened, almost 7 months, and I know what you mean about how hard it is to find a dress in that size. Everything we saw was 0-3 months. Luckily she was small enough to still fit into a 3-6 month dress cause otherwise I don't know what I would have done. We were just lucky that we found a line that ran a bit bigger and that she was on the thinner side. And we actually thought about stopping in WDW for a couple of days after we get back from the Dominican Republic (cause we have to connect in Orlando or Miami so we thought we'd go with Orlando and then stay in WDW for the weekend). But the trip got moved up to April 21-25 (It was supposed to be 4/30-5/3) and so now we can't do that cause we have to be back in NJ for my great-aunt's party (she's been a nun 75 years so they're giving her a jubilee on 4/29). We still thought about stopping for 2 days or so, but then we felt like we'd be rushed to get back up to NJ so we scrapped that plan.

Bellacam, happy 1/2 birthday to Aidan!! Can you believe it's been a half a year since he was born!?! Does he have to get shots today? I feel like Madison got them at practically every visit till she was 15 months old, but part of that was that her dr switched from carrying a combined vaccine to not using it when she was 2 weeks old so we were behind schedule.

Okay, now you all have me interested in reading the clique thread so before I take a nap I think I'll do that. I too had wondered what happened to 2sweetangels, but I thought she just got busy and hadn't been posting as frequently and sorta left the thread. I had no idea she felt we ignored her. Honestly, though I've said it before, I really don't think anyone here ignores anyone else intentionally, and I think all the people who have remained on the thread feel that way. Sometimes I post and could care less if anyone even responds, I just want to share a story, frustration, whatever. So really, don't feel the need to respond to every single thing I say girls! I promise I will not be upset or offended. And if I really want a response and don't feel like I'm getting one, I'll post it again if it's that important. Okay, off to read the thread now. Hope everyone has a good day!
