I'm just checking in while I wait for my husband to come home to give Madison her bath (bath has become his full time job). Wow, I feel like I've actually been on the boards a lot the past couple of days, but still I get behind.
Yes, I am still so, so sick, but the past 2 days I have at least felt okay till around noon or so. Then I get so hungry that I have to eat something and then the sickness starts in. With Madison I didn't really have too many problems with what I ate. I was still pretty sick with her everyday, and never wanted to eat anything, but the little I did eat didn't make me feel sick. This time though, I don't feel like eating anything ever, but then I get super-hungry, which makes me more nauseous, so then I eat, then whatever the food is somehow gets me sick too. So no matter what I feel like I can't win. With Madison I was sick till 18 weeks, so I look at it that I only have 8 more weeks of this, hopefully less. It still seems like forever to me, but when I remember that I have already passed 10 weeks it doesn't seem so bad. Of course, I wasn't sick till 5.5 weeks but I try to keep that out of my mind.
Vald, sorry to hear you've still been under the weather. I'll be wishing good thoughts your way for the interview though!
DisKim, I know you don't find it funny, but I was LOL at your description of your tax man. Sounds like the woman who took Madison's photos at JCPenney-maybe they're related. She was so smelly we couldn't wait to get out of there so I can only imagine having to go over something as exciting as taxes with the man.
Gems, I love the photo of Shelby! So adorable! I can't believe she's sitting up already-what a big girl!
InsideBall, your highchair sounds very cute. I've never seen one like that around here.
Nucpharm glad that you're enjoying your trip to see your family. I am not a cold weather fan either so those temps sound great to me.
Okay, Daddy is home so time to get the munchkin ready for her bath.

Ew!
Good luck with your job interview! Let us know how it goes.

at your description of free dining! We did it too- I went with my parents and the kids in September and I felt like a freaking Queen being able to order whatever I wanted. I think we used most of our snack credits for water and Diet Cokes to fight the "Congo" (HAHAHAHA) heat! I asked DH last night if he could handle Orlando at the end of August and he was all, "Yeah, I'm not freaky about the heat like you are!" I guess so after sitting in 140 degrees in Iraq. But it's that humidity that's the killer.
Still doesn't change my thinking. It is a bit of work, much safer and fun too.
!). Katrina has always hated baths so far so I do sponge baths with her. I feel it gets her just as clean (maybe even cleaner since I can really get into all the creases) and doesn't murder my back and make her scream. So it works for us. I have taken her into the shower with me a few times also.
. I really try to stay away from some of the hot button threads but sometimes I read them just for fun
.
I am very sorry you feel that way though and hope you will come back eventually! And I also want to go on record and say that although I will try to respond to posts as often as I can I know for a fact I will not respond to all. I just don't always have the time or the patience to try to remember it all and I am no where near as organized as Jill!
When is your dd's b-day? I know you said she was 9 months so I am thinking she is pretty close to my dd's b-day. Anyway, as far as carseats we have a Graco Comfortsport and really like it. I would like to look at a Britax sometime based on reviews but haven't seen any around our area for some reason. That's okay, you have to order maternity clothes here too since the stores don't seem to carry any here either!
