The Official May 2015 Thread!!

Has anyone started craft projects for their upcoming trip ? I have decided that with a year to plan there is plenty of time to be a little creative.:rotfl2:

Hi this is my first post!
We booked our 2nd trip yesterday. :cheer2: We fly in on 15th May and leave on 30th May staying for 10 nights at Port Orleans French Quarter followed by 5 nights at Pacific Lowes Univeral.
Very excited and looking forward to hearing everyones tips and advice

Looking forward to booking meals in November!
This is what we are thinking so far...

Crystal Palace - lunch
Hollywood and Vine - breakfast (Doc McStuffin and Sofia are now there!)
T-Rex Cafe - dinner
Coral Reef - dinner
Le Cellier - dinner (2 credits)
Be Our Guest - dinner (2 credits)
Crab House - dinner (2 credits)

I take it the regular dining plan?

If you would be willing to spend 2 credits for a meal:
Hoop-Dee-Doo. It is great fun. Somewhat corny, but fun. Family style served.

Sprit of Aloha Dinner Show at the Polly. Outdoors, so it can be cancelled due to weather. Family style served.

Check videos on Youtube of them it might not be something your kids would be into.

Cinderella's Royal Table. You get a 8X10 with Cinderella and your family included, plus a nice picture of the castle itself. Great character interaction from the other princess during the meal. Individual meals.

1 credits:
Liberty Tree Tavern at MK. Lunch is individual meals, and dinner is family style.
Cape May Cafe at Beach Club. Sea food buffet. Believe breakfast has characters but not 100% on that.
50's Prime Time Cafe at HS. Individual meals.

Those are places I have been that I thought were good/great.

I have heard good things about Tusker House and 'Ohana for breakfast (plan on trying one of them myself). Be Our Guest for lunch or dinner (going to try to get a dinner here). Akershus Royal Banquet Hall for breakfast (heard not so good for lunch/dinner, plan on breakfast here myself).

Yes we'll do the regular dining plan with one TS and one QS meal. I'd like to stick to using just one credit per meal.
Thanks for the suggestions. I've heard great things about Ohana for breakfast.

I have mine all mapped out lol here are a couple we are going too!

Akershus
Ohanas breakfast
Chef Mickey
Crystal palace
Hollywood and vine
Mama melrose fantasmic package
1900 park fare
Spice round table
Be our guest

I thought about doing a fantasmic package. We missed the show all together on our last trip so I plan on catching it this trip. Can you use the dining plan for the package.
I've never heard of spice round table. Gonna have to look that one up!
I'm pretty sure Ohana and 1900 park fare will be on our list. I've heard good things about them.

We loved Hollywood and vine last year. I didn't realize doc and sofia were there. My DD will be so excited!
MY DH really liked T-rex and I had the pleasure of eating at Le Cellier on a business trip. It was so yummy!

Be Our Guest is quick service for lunch and only one for dinner.

Oh yes , thanks.
That gives us an extra meal somewhere - hmm any suggestions?

Already done sci-fi diner, mickeys backyard bbq, chef mickeys and tuskers .

Hmmm.....
Via Napoli.
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall (breakfast).
'Ohana.
Kona Cafe.

Seeing that we are talking about meals, here is what my wife and I have as a tentative:

We are doing Deluxe Dining

Arrival Day:
Trail’s End Restaurant (Dinner, might change to some place if we do a park that day, depending on when our flight lands at MCO).

MK Day 1:
The Crystal Place (Breakfast)
Narcoossee’s (Dinner)

MK Day 2:
Cinderella’s Royal Table (Breakfast, if unable to get we will go to Kona Cafe or 'Ohana)
Be Our Guest (Dinner, if unable to get will we go to Liberty Tree Tavern)

MK Day 3:
The Crystal Place (Breakfast)
Cinderella’s Royal Table (Dinner)

Epcot Day:
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall (Breakfast)
Via Napoli (Lunch)
Le Cellier Steakhouse or Yachtsman Steak House (Dinner)

Animal Kingdom/Hollywood Studios:
Tusker House (Breakfast)
Hoop-De-Doo (Dinner)

Leave Day:
Boma (Breakfast).

If we can't get into CRT for breakfast we would have 1 credit left so we might go to 50's Prime Time Cafe for lunch.

Wow...you're all organised! :)

We have a few places we'd like to try for, but as of yet, I do not know when we'd do them. I know for sure we want H&V for the Disney Jr breakfast for my DD and I'd like to do BoG (lunch or dinner, I don't mind). After reading the other day I think or other character breakfast for this time is going to be at Tusker House and I think I *may* have to venture back to O'hana for breakfast with my beloved Stitch too :lovestruc

Wooo Hooo! Welcome aboard!! I've got you added to the happy dance list! I haven't stayed at the French Quarter - but it was really pretty when we walked through it! You will love it!

Go ahead and add us on for May 1-May 11 for CSR! Haven't booked yet but these almost surely look like our dates and we loved CSR last time we were there! We'll probably do the deluxe dining plan, in hopes of using up those snack credits at the Flower and Garden Festival @ Epcot!! Can't wait...so excited to be planning right along with the rest of you!

Ahhh, I cannot wait to see the F&G festival again! I absolutely love Epcot when it's in full bloom :flower3:

We have never been in May! ! That is the reason I chose this date. Can't wait! !!!

We've never been in May either but we want to do either F&W or F&G and Sept/Oct this year is just too soon so May is what we're aiming for. Have already started getting ADR ideas together...can't wait!!
