Just saying "Hello" for now, hope to join this thread soon. We just decided last night that our Spring 2015 vacation will likely be Disney rather than an all inclusive, so just started looking at the best time to go between March and May. Based on a quick look at historical crowds, its looking like late April or sometime in May. I'll keep you posted

We went in May last year and loved the weather, didn't find crowds too bad-our only regret is that we spent 7 nights on a cruise at the end-we both agreed we wished we had stayed an extra week at Disney.

I just looked up all the menus at all of the parks and DD. DH and I have narrowed it down to 4 places at HS, 2 at DD, 2 at AK, 2 at EP and 5 at MK. I even pinned the items I would like to eat to pinterest. I felt like we were eating the same things over and over in the past. We would just stop and eat at a place we were near at the time. This time we can make sure we are near a place we want to eat w hen it gets near the time. Some of our selections are QS and some are TS. So, we'll have to figure out the best things according to the meal plan. I had to do something to start planning.

I actually liked both 1900 breakfast and dinner. And the kids loved the big bowl of gummi bears they had for dessert there.
I was not impressed with Akershus for dinner. I actually liked the appetizer buffet better than the meals. I would go again, but probably only for breakfast. I hear that is really good. My sister will be there in a couple of weeks so I will get a detailed description soon I hope. : )
Is the Stitch juice the same Jamba juice they have at Boma and Tusker? We LOVE that stuff! Never made it to 'Ohana for breakfast though.

I was wondering the same thing about the juice. We have been considering Ohana breakfast. Will be waiting to hear the review.

We will be there May 2-10. CSR looks like a beautiful resort they have a beautiful pool area. Glad to see you on the boards. Former Indiana girl myself. Love the sunrises over the cornfields some of the best I have ever seen .

I know it's a long ways away but I was looking for suggestions for table service meals. For our first trip we did.....

Crystal Palace- Food was so-so. We loved the character interaction
T-Rex- My DH loved the food here
Via Napoli- kids and I loved it. DH was on the fence
Hollywood and Vine- loved the character interaction
Sci-Fi- Won't do again
Raniforest café- was just ok
Chef Mickey- food was good. great character interaction.

We will be on the dining plan.

If you would be willing to spend 2 credits for a meal:
Hoop-Dee-Doo. It is great fun. Somewhat corny, but fun. Family style served.

Sprit of Aloha Dinner Show at the Polly. Outdoors, so it can be cancelled due to weather. Family style served.

Check videos on Youtube of them it might not be something your kids would be into.

Cinderella's Royal Table. You get a 8X10 with Cinderella and your family included, plus a nice picture of the castle itself. Great character interaction from the other princess during the meal. Individual meals.

1 credits:
Liberty Tree Tavern at MK. Lunch is individual meals, and dinner is family style.
Cape May Cafe at Beach Club. Sea food buffet. Believe breakfast has characters but not 100% on that.
50's Prime Time Cafe at HS. Individual meals.

Those are places I have been that I thought were good/great.

I have heard good things about Tusker House and 'Ohana for breakfast (plan on trying one of them myself). Be Our Guest for lunch or dinner (going to try to get a dinner here). Akershus Royal Banquet Hall for breakfast (heard not so good for lunch/dinner, plan on breakfast here myself).
