We have decided to stay at AoA in a Cars Suite! I am so excited. I am even more excited to have my ADRs booked and them actually be available! I am a bit nervous about 1900 Park Fare though as I have heard mixed reviews.:confused3 But my DD is a huge Cindy fan and I think she will greatly enjoy this one. Anyone have any input on that one?

Nope. I'm a little nervous too. But mainly going for the step family..:)

1900 Park Fare is a must for us! You have to try the strawberry soup! I know it sounds gross, but it's like a cold strawberry pudding. :) I love it! We love the interaction with the characters. DD has gotten to dance with the Prince in the past.

We're checking in on May 20th and checking out June 2nd.
Staying at POR.
We will be celebrating my Daughters 5th bday. :wizard:

Psh. Overload my foot. I love character meals. We are doing three.

I love them too! I still think its a little bit of an overload having 5 (we may be adding another) just cuz they do end up taking longer.

That is one I'm not worried about, my sis and her family just did it in Dec and it was one of their highlights.
Im worried about Chef Mickey's dinner because I had two sets of family members come back and say service was awful. I'm gonna go with low expectations on service and it should be fine then.

My hubby and I are going the last week of May and I am so excited, were only doing one Disney park, Magic Kingdom this time, we've stayed at Movies twice and this time were trying Pop Century, then a down day when we will take advantage of mostly free things to do, like ride the monorail and visit the other resorts and eat a meal at one of the resorts then check out downtown Disney in the evening and play a round of minature golf at the Fantasia course, we will try to time it around the time Hollywood Studios is having Fantasmic so maybe we can see some fireworks and hear some music. The next day we hit Universals Islands of adventure, I am dying to see the Harry Potter part of the park, I'm a huge fan, then we head over to Sanibel Island to spend a few days with friends. Its so so crazy cold today, 20 for a high, all I can do it think about this to try and get warm!:cool1:

Please add us, We just booked last night. Our dates are May 4-11 and staying @ AKV (Kidani Village).:yay:

2 weeks! That's awesome! :)

My only question was on your 5/25 plans (because I'm also questioning the same date in my own plans!). We had also planned on HS that day but since it's the Saturday of Memorial Day during Star Wars Weekends I've been reading that the crowd calendars are wrong and that this will be an awful day to go unless you're super into Star Wars. Since you have a H&V breakfast scheduled it doesn't sound like you're going for the celebrity autographs so I thought I'd ask. We're undecided. Touring Plans says the crowd level will be low that day (I even emailed them to double check their logic) but SWW vets on the DIS say otherwise - that it'll be a madhouse :)

Have a great trip!

Im really into Star Wars and so is my DD4... but Im not interested in celebrity autographs. My daughter really wants to see what star wars weekend is all about.
But going back to your question. Yes we will be eating breakfast at H&V and (sadly because my DD4 wants to ) eating early dinner at Pizza planet :confused3

We told her that the day (not like the whole trip is) is for her.

We also designated the next Saturday for Hollywood Studios as well. Just in case we miss anything.

On a side note we also have a good friend, who recently worked at Disneyworld, will be guiding us through HS during StarWars weekend.

Im nervous about the crowds :crowded:

I hope you have a great trip as well!

We are super excited for our kids 1st trip to WDW - and our first in 20 years- so virtually a first visit for all of us! (coming all the way from New Zealand DL is closer and we have been there twice in the past few years- and will be calling in to Anaheim again to check out Carsland on our way home!)
We are early riser rope- drop-types so plan on doing most of our park visiting in the mornings.
Our WDW plan is looking like this so far:
10th arr Windsor Hills 8pm and collapse after a 30 hour trip and 4 flights!
11th AK with an afternoon nap for all if needed! Dinner at Ohana
12th Epcot
13th UIOA to check out WWOHP
14th MK with dinner at BOG
15th HS with dinner at SCiFi Dine In
16th Epcot - dinner tbc - Biergarten?
17th Kennedy Space Centre
18th Blizzard Beach- dinner at WL maybe?
19th HS to check out SWW
20th Nothing confirmed- revisit whichever park we liked best!
21st dep for Washington, NYC, DL and eventually- home!

Please add me we will be there from the 6th - 20th May staying at BLT :wave2:

I'm a massive over planner who is used to booking 11 months out, having a bit of a panic that I only have 3 months....the other half thinks I have lost the plot! :lmao:

Woke up to 4" of snow here in Virginia....and still snowing...with more expected tomorrow!

The first thing I thought was...in 106 days, I will be in sunny Florida!!! :cool1:

We are the opposite of you! We usually plan our trips 3 (or even less!) months in advance. This is the first time we actually started planning about 8 months out and this wait is killing me!! It was nice I actually got to get our ADRS at 180 days out... but these months of just waiting and waiting are really a killer! :rotfl2:

Good luck in your planning!

We'll be there April 30th to May 23! Doing a split stay at POR and Beach Club!!

The waiting is the hard part for me, everything is book, have all my ressies booked, and now the wait!

Normally I know what i want to book and count down to my 180 day ADR's and as we still havent decided this is causing me the most panic right now! :scared1:

I know what you mean though, waiting when everything is organised is hard but hang in there, it will be worth it when it comes! :jumping1:
