Thank you, Jason! He'll be well cared for, and we'll make sure his first trip is one to remember! :thumbsup2

After finding out today that Flower may also be lost I have decided to add some new rules to the croc exchange.

From now on all people taking part in this exchange must provide a tracking number along with the name of the service the package was sent with (ie: USPS, UPS, FedX, etc.) to both the next exchanger and me when sending any crocs. Having these tracking number will help us find lost crocs quicker and take some stress out of my life. :badpc: Please provide your phone number as well as address to any DISer sending you a croc as this is sometimes required by the postal services.

Rule 3 on page 150 I made when I started this exchanged said that you must pm me when you receive you croc from the other exchanger. Some people have not done this but in the future everyone needs to do this before they leave for vacation. This is the only way I know where the crocs are and helps me to know if they are MIA. Otherwise I have to worry that a croc has went MIA until you return from your vacation.

I will be posting these rules on page 150, along with pming everyone on the current lists. Thank you.

We enjoyed Flora's company during our Minnie Marathon weekend trip at the beginning of May. As one of the last families to spend time with Flora, I felt the need to post a couple of pics...

Yay for Flower! Perhaps there's hope for Flora and we'll hear a good report on her soon! :thumbsup2

FloridaGirl - your DD is ADORABLE!!

Thanks DisneyBee...the kids had a great time with Flora.

I'm glad Flower has been found...we're looking forward to hosting her in December!

I guess I'll be taking Fang since Flora hasn't turned up as of yet.

I also haven't head from Mouseaddicts regarding getting Fang to her after our trip is over. If you're reading this Mouseaddicts - please pm me! Thanks!

I keep checking the mail everyday to see if she has been returned to sender (me) and so far she has not. I don't get how something can get lost...completly lost. I still have the receipt here from the PO dated 5/15.

I thought the mailing of the crocs would be more reliable after reading other dis ers never showed up to exchange or one wasn't left where it was supposed to...and now this too is proving to be not the case. Well I think USPS would be fine so long as tracking numbers are used in the future. I feel so bad for little kids who were looking forward to getting FLora. I am so sorry this happened. Like I said I have never run into a problem with getting something to someone. Unfortunately my first problem occured when so many others were involved.
Again, I'm soooo sorry this happened. I can't explain it...I think I will go looking for a replacement croc. It won't be Flora, but I feel I owe it to this board to some how make good on this whole thing. I'll PM Lonegulgal17

I will of course let everyone know if she ends up back at my house in PA.

Oh where oh where is she??!!

:confused3 :confused3 :confused3 :confused3

We always thought that having a tracking number would be foul proof, until a person that we rented our timeshare to sent us a certified check through the USPO with a tracking number using 2 day mail. We did not receive it until 3 weeks later after much agravation. They eventually found the envelope left in a machine in a Philadelphia post office. We are 2 hours north of Philadelphia.

Let's keep our fingers crossed.

The USPS tracking number service has been less than impressive when I've used it. There's less customer service as well. Just MHO. Not arguing. :goodvibes

FYI, for those who don't know... Flora and Fauna were bought at an Old Navy long ago but are no longer available, or weren't last fall. I found Fang and Flower online and can PM anyone with where to find them, though I think having varied crocs is more fun. popcorn::

Well I got another croc. I'll let Lonegungal give more of the info since she had great insight for this little guy.
When he arrives, I'll see where he should go next....UPS only right!!!

::yes:: I'm happy to annouce that Maefly has gotten us a new croc to replacement Flora for the future (or until she is found). This new croc's name will be:

For those of you that don't know Bob Varley was important member of these boards and the DISunplugged podcast that passed away suddenly in April. Although I never met Bob I felt connected to him through the weekly podcasts I listened to. No matter how bad of a day I was having at work, Bob could always make me laugh out loud in the staff room. After Bob's passing I decided that a nice way to honor him and make sure he was remembered would be to name the next new croc after him.

Bob Focker (the croc) will be taking over Flora's list as soon as he's ready.
I'm sure Maefly will post us pictures when he arrives. ::yes::
