The part of the magic band you can peel off to make it smaller for kids. It is a greyish/black color.

I was not aware that Magic Band Tracking was a thing. Now I'm conflicted if I should check it or not. I think not.

My magic Bands have been in Fl since Friday. I have a feeling they will just show up one day. What I haven't heard anything about is luggage tags so not sure what the deal is with that.

Call DME. They can fix MBs at the resort, but you NEED those tags.

Okay, I absolutely do NOT want to send anyone into a panic, but I feel obligated to tell you what happened with DSS. I got a call from my buddy Kevin, and he saw the bands were hung up with USPS. He said he didn't want me to worry about it, so he was having replacement bands sent into production for me this evening, and they'd be mailed out before the end of the week.

He felt pretty confident there was just a hang up in the system somewhere, and most likely I'd wind up with two sets (which is going to present a whole other set of problems, but I'll burn that bridge when I get to it). He also offered to have them sent to the resort for me, but knowing how crazy things get at MCO, I decided I'd rather have them on me when we landed, and also make sure ahead of time I didn't have two conflicting sets.

I genuinely think he's only having them sent because I'm CL and they do that kind of thing, but again, in the interest of full disclosure, I wanted to give the rest of you an opportunity to decide if you want to wait a bit longer or go ahead and start calling.

For our Feb trip, my friend and I were leaving from the same airport at the same exact time, and booked our trips within a week of each other. We got our tracking numbers on the same day. They left Davenport at the same time. They were coming to the SAME post office. Hers arrived 10 days before mine. *insert Kermit flail* Mine toured all of the East Coast. I'm curious how mine will travel this time - booked very last minute on Wed, shipping notice on Sunday... still not updated yet. We leave June 1st. If mine take as long this time as last, we'll be using old bands.

And yes, grey part off, definitely!

Yikes!!! I am going to wait and see what happens. My delivery window is May 10-12, if they aren't here by then, I'm calling!!!

That is the same thing my sister's says. In the past, I don't feel like it took this long for the magic bands to be delivered.

A lot of people say they just show up without any updating so I'm not worried. I'm thinking today or tomorrow for mine though that's a guess. Mine last updated on Monday, as well.

I did get mine last year at 26 days out...I'm at 24 now.

I'm more worried about hours getting extended. I'm hoping we get lucky and it happens Friday, but I'm assuming Monday is more likely. Regardless, I just want it to happen!

My tracking is always wonky with MB - they end up just showing up with no correlation to the tracking information!

I am also waiting for updated hours - our trip spans over 4th of July - and I assume that MK will open at 8am that day ... just waiting for it to happen so that I can adjust our first FP ...

Yep, this is what I hear!

I am also waiting for updated hours - our trip spans over 4th of July - and I assume that MK will open at 8am that day ... just waiting for it to happen so that I can adjust our first FP ...

I know last year they did a "semi-final" hours update around 5/15 for June (not sure if it included 4th of July or not). But they did not add in any 8am openings until June 2. Of course, who truly knows what they will do this year as they already extended MK from 9 to 10. Hmmmmm.....

Speaking of magic bands, I was trying on my son's and it fits me so much better without that dark gray outside part. Any of you other ladies tear that part off too? I don't know why but I'm really apprehensive about removing it.

I have small wrists and usually take it off but I have to kids and was able to test it. I mostly get annoyed with the long grey part wrapping up inside. I've cut that down before too. The perfect size for me seems to be the two notches that are different (first grey part and last regular part). Just know that's an option a second well. Cutting it down made it much more comfortable.
