I just looked over the MK park calendar for a few dates to see when BTMR's availability changed and here is what I found:

through June 30th BTMR showed park hours on the calendar
then July 1st it changes to "schedule unavailable" (along with several other rides) and it continues "schedule unavailable" until Aug 7th
August 8th it changed to "Closed for refurbishment"

If this is true...then

Thrilled that I can officially join this group! I'm flying to Orlando on June 5th...and not leaving! I'm moving down to start a College Program internship, and I plan to stay down there and start my career with Disney.

ICYMI, the BTMR refurb was pushed back to August.

I've heard late June or early July for Soarin so I'm pretty much counting it out. I'm wondering about FEA.

Booked for mid June hoping for discount I always get pin codes and this time I can't!! I'm doing room with ticketless dining I already have tickets. I heard from a lady on phone she said she thinks tmrw will be general public released date for discount?

last year the Disney visa discount was released on 3/19 and the general public discount was released on 3/23. Go to mousesavers. They have the dates of released discounts from the last 4 years.

I am so excited to be going to Disney World with my family this June!

You will have sooooo much fun!!! I was in a similar situation back in 2001. The last time I had been to Disney World was in high school in 1981 -- so it was only Magic Kingdom, then. Fast forward 20 years and I was returning with my husband and our 2 oldest children who were already teenagers (our infant and toddler stayed home with the grandparents). I felt like a kid at camp while we were there! No laundry to do, no meals to prepare, no baby to get up with during the night (which at that point I had been doing for nearly 2 years straight), nothing to really worry about! We took that trip with the older kids and figured we'd bring the younger kids back when they were about 10 & 11 -- so about 8 years later. Well, by day 2 of the trip we knew we wanted to bring the "littles" to Disney when they were about 4 & 5. Long story short, we've made 6 trips back to Disney World since that trip in 2001. And I see us making many more trips in the future. We love Art of Animation and will be staying there for the 3rd time this summer -- I hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Summer storybook pin codes are being mailed and ours almost got thrown away because it looks like an advertisement. There is a unique offer code towards the back of it good for stays 5/30 to 8/25. We called to ask if we could use it as it was in my daughters previous married name. CM wasnt sure but said all 5 of us had the code attached including 2 kids so I used mine. My daughter was the only one that received the mailer. Hope this helps some one going this summer.

We took our granddaughters on their first trip several years ago. So Magical through the eyes of little ones! Have a great trip!

I agree! We are taking my 74 y/o mother for her 1st time this summer and I am excited to see her reactions to everything. She is like a kid asking questions, gets teary at commercials and ready to leave now. Have a great trip!

We are also staying at AOA. We have stayed in the LM section one time but never in the suites. The pictures of the suites look Magical with the decor. My granddaughters are excited about the underwater music at the pool. It really is the little things that make Disney special.

Thank you! We've (both my mom and I) received them in the past so I'll be on the lookout, just in case. Our current ressie is in my name so it's probably more likely my mom would get one, I think. We are currently booked at the spring discount, which was also up to 30% off for villas....so might not be any difference anyway.

FWIW, our current reservation is in my name and our Summer Storybook mailer came addressed to me. I've always been the one to book the reservations over the last 16 years so the reservation is always in my name but our PIN codes almost always come addressed to me. I think my husband has gotten 2 PIN codes addressed to him.

This is our first trip with Magic Bands. Our account is showing that we can customize them until 5/22 (our trip starts 6/2), but we're leaving early (on 5/29). We're concerned they're not going to be here in time. Does anyone have any experience here? I was hoping to customize them at home too but looks like that is out the window with the late shipping.

Thanks! We just called and got 20% off our CSR booking! Also changed our son's MB selection to the BB8 "Awaken Summer" gimmick band. Our daughter may change hers as well.

I would love to get this band. Unfortunately our trip is earlier in June and we bought separate tickets from a broker.
