Since my husband will be arriving much later in the day on the 24th (he has to work) and he'll be at a conference some too and he'll come home for a few days, I need some suggestions for what to do while I'm by myself. I am feeling a little lost and am worrying that I'm going to be pretty lonely.

take the time to do something you want to try that he wouldnt maybe a ride he wont ride, a tour he won't do, or even trying restaraunts he wouldnt want to eat at

head over to the solo boards, you can find a whole lot of suggestions there. You could also think about doing a dismeet or two so you don't feel so alone. meet up in the park and ride some rides together or something.

ok so I couldn't sleep and I was thinking about things I might have forgotten to get and I remembered I forgot earplugs!!! dd does not even a little bit like the loud noises of the fireworks and we skipped them all last time and I wanna watch them this time! So I definitely have to get ear plugs or at least pack my full size headphones.....

So I gotta tell you, DH is so excited he can't sleep! The kids reaction is "2 more days? But that means we still have school." And my reaction is "2 days ?? But we are not ready yet" so I guess the biggest kid in the house is also the oldest

This is getting sooooo EXCITING!!! I love seeing everyone's post who is getting ready to leave. May you all have a safe journey!

We have hit single digits and will be down at the Poly in 8 days. I'm debating whether or not to do on-line check-in.

I changed another ADR, I cancelled Garden Grill on June 9th and moved it to June 11th at 4pm, I can't believe they had an opening. It'll work out better for our schedule.

Gotta get the kids off to school today and do some laundry and packing. I've been at the beach and pool all weekend so I got nothing done except sunburn! Best wishes to everyone!

first part of my travel is complete. I made it down to IL just fine. I got DD in the bath now, and I shall shower after she is done. We wake by 3:30am to leave by 4am... so excited~!~

p.s. anyone that prays, please pray my DD naps on the plane! :begs:

OMG I agree....must make sure we hit several of these locations during our trip to sample some of the cupcakes!

Officially 7 days away from our trip!!!

I'm so glad my husband is the most excited since I planned this trip as a birthday gift back in February. I kept thinking to myself, How on Earth am I going to justify booking a trip without seeing what he thinks first?! My daughter and I set up a pirate treasure hunt with a sign that says "You're going to Disney World---Jimmy-style!"

He was more curious than surprised, but as the days have gotten closer, work has become stressful, and Star Wars is everywhere (that was the carrot), he is more excited to go than I am at times. In fact, he said he wants to go now which is a relief. I told him the other day that when I planned the trip those months ago it was his excitement/anticipation at this moment that I was going for. I knew if I didn't, next week would come and go, and I would have regretted it because I knew he would've loved and needed the trip. Nothing like validation!!!

So, as a PP said, gotta keep up with the weeds and pre-trip clean...and (Da-Da-Dummmmmm) pack!!!
