I feel like I have sooo much to do to get ready. But I'm a teacher and this is final exams week so I have to focus on work and getting these seniors graduated. Then I can start thinking DISNEY!!

Question: What's still left on your to-do list?

Whew! Sure has been hot here in Ohio! That's ok - it'll help us adjust to the Florida heat. Cedar Point (amusement park) was hot and draining, but fun! Then, it stormed in the evening - just like being in Disney

I can't take those big rollar coasters so much anymore - but I have teens and that's what they like. I prefer the rides at Disney

4 days until we leave and I am nervous about forgetting something. We are surprising our girls so I have not done much packing. I am one that usually has the suitcase out for two weeks before our trip. But if I forget something we can just come home with more Disney stuff.

I hope everyone that is leaving today and soon have safe travels.

Those are some yummy-looking cupcakes. The Chocolate Peanut Butter one looks like perfect fuel for the Photo Safari.

10 days until we leave!

I feel like I have sooo much to do to get ready. But I'm a teacher and this is final exams week so I have to focus on work and getting these seniors graduated. Then I can start thinking DISNEY!!

We have 14 days until we leave...and I have only 7 work days after today to work...even better!

As for what's left for us...well I just put our mail on hold.

I still need to arrange for a cat and fish sitter...and give that person instructions on our alarm system and the feeding process. I have two neighbors in mind...one has volunteered so I will probably ask her.

I want to put together some travel bags for the kids. On Friday I found a great travel book for kids with activities. I want to go through it and find pages to do with the kids and then make copies of those pages for each kid. I was thinking of doing something that centers around each state. So when we start out in FL, we have activities that are based on Florida, then Georgia, SC, NC, VA and MD...though by the time we hit MD it will probably be late! Since we are taking the train down, I feel like I don't need much to keep them occupied for that trip as we'll be exploring the train, eating, watching the movie on the train and then sleeping!

I want to put together a bag of our travel toiletries, drugs, etc. and last night I already started my dry goods stockpile to take with us....cereal, pop tarts and bottled water are ready to go!

I want to make a few more magnets for our door.

I just ordered some glow in the dark rubber bracelets. I'm going to write our cell phone numbers on those and the kids will wear them in case of emergency. This may work better than last time...when I just wrote my phone number with a sharpie marker on my then 5-year-old's arm! With the sweat and heat, that may not work out well this time!

I'm sure there are other things I'm forgetting...like making a list of things I want to pack!

I'm off tomorrow to take my DH to have a sinus procedure done...so I am hoping to knock off a few of these things while home with him tomorrow!

i *think* i have everything done, itineraries are done, bags are packed, lists are made I just have to remember to stick my ipod charger in the suitcase after charging it the night before. WHAT IM I SUPPOSED TO DO FOR THE NEXT 5 DAYS!?!?! You know besides life haha.

So excited- staying at CR for the 1st time! 28 more days to go !!

Woohoo! We are staying at CR this year for part of our trip for the first time in SO long. I can't wait either.

We're leaving this morning!!! Just gotta wait for the bank to open.

You guys hold down the fort here and I'll go make sure Mickey isn't causing any trouble. I'll report back on the 12th. (I refuse to pay $10/day for internet...)

Just tied our Disney luggage tags on to our bags I have the kids about 80% packed. Haven't started on my own yet though... and I know DH will wait until the last minute!

I want to tell the kids SO bad but trying to wait until Monday so we can say "We're leaving tomorrow!" I can't believe I've been able to hide it for all of these months!!! I have their new luggage filled with new clothes and things hiding in my closet!!!

2 more days. Packing all the stuff needed for a 10 month old is overwhelming. I have to make sure to pack the bottles tomorrow night.

I'm going to try to knock out most of the clothes packing tonight after the kids go to bed.
