Sorry folks for the absence, have been busy elsewhere .

Our plans are coming together nicely with the another main slot booked last night.
We are at Royal Pacific Resort from 15th to 20th July.
This follows 2 magical weeks at Port Orleans Riverside 1st - 15th July.

Hi, we are doing a mini version of your trip. Two nights, 1 day at Universal, then 2 nights, two days at POR (I think...haven't settled on that yet). After those fun tiring days we are heading to the beach. Can't wait!

Really looking forward to our trip this year (just like every year)...

We have booked:

• 1 night at the Holiday Inn Orlando - Lake Buena Vista (this is the day we drive down)
• 5 nights at the Grand Floridian Resort
• 2 more nights at the Holiday Inn Orlando - Lake Buena Vista

Our plan is to drive down from NJ on the 12th of July and stay at the Holiday Inn since we will be loosing most of that day. Then we head over to the Grand Floridian for the Disney part of our trip from July 13th - 17th. We will then round out our trip with a day at Sea World and a drive down to one of the Golf Coast Beaches to look for sharks' teeth and then drive back up to NJ to join the world again.

Woo-hoo, our plans (except FP+) are finalized. We will be staying at POFQ from July 9 - July 20. My mother and I in one room, my brother, sis-in-law and two nieces in another. It will be their first time at this resort. We are dining at T-Rex and Rose and Crown for dinners, Mama Melrose for Fantasmic package, Crystal Palace for breakfast and we were able to get two lunch ressies for BOG. Now we must wait for May to schedule our FP+ options. We have a plan in place and hope we can make it work.

Since Midori will be in Korea, planning my first solo trip has been a challenge.. I don't even know where to begin, where to eat, what park to visit...ALL BY MYSELF !!!!

I don't feel I need to stay onsite - just need a place to hang my head.... OMG, where is the Magic???? if I don't stay on site??

I will figure it out.....

Lately we stayed at Lake Buena Vista location and really liked this. A number of the hotels have suites along with decent kitchens.
Downtown Disney is only 5 minutes away

2. Stalking the boards for an announcement of Frozen Summer Fun Premium Package so we can book that

4. Watching YouTube videos of our two resorts for this stay

Our first trips were off site. We had a villa at Kissimmee though felt it was a little far out...especially if including SeaWorld and Universal as part of a trip.
Lately we stayed at Lake Buena Vista location and really liked this. A number of the hotels have suites along with decent kitchens.
Downtown Disney is only 5 minutes away

----- I have always wondered about the Dolphin & Swan.... This trip might be a good time to check them out and possibly do a split stay. Traveling Solo, I will not have much to lug around...

Hi all!!! Hope the planning is going well for everyone. And I'm so happy to know that I'm not the only obsessive planner of all things Disney. Last week I was finally able to use the Disney Visa summer discount and upgraded from Pop to Port Orleans Riverside. Then today I got a pin and saved even more money! It was a really good day. I've got all of my ADR's made but would still like to switch CP for BOG breakfast. So far, not showing any availability for July. I guess, like everything else, I'll just keep waiting and checking. Patience is a virtue-but I think I've used up all of mine. LOL Next big hurdle is, of course, the FP race. Still tweaking plans for all 13 people. Anyway, just checking in. Have a magical evening!

We are also hoping to switch a breakfast to BOG when it is released. I hope we don't have to wait until June 18th when the first phase ends! That's cutting it close to our vacations!!

So excited to be heading back to WDW (July 27-31)!!! Not looking forward to the heat/humidity, but being with my family (DS 12 & DD 10) at WDW again will be worth the sweat! Staying at the Caribbean Beach Resort. Anyone else going to be there?

So very excited that we will be at OKW July 6-10! We are a party of 8 and staying in a 2 bedroom villa. It will be myself, my parents (DD, DM), my kids (DS17 (celebrating his 18th birthday on the Wednesday during the trip), DD16, DD11) and my best friend with her DD16. We have not been to the World since 2009 and I absolutely cannot wait. We will be on the deluxe dining plan. I have made the following reservations so far:

July 6th- lunch at BOG
dinner at 1900 Park Faire

July 7th- dinner at 50's Prime Time

July 8th- Breakfast at Chef Mickey
Dinner at LeCellier

July 9th- Dinner at Ohana

I plan to tweak and change these up if I can manage to scoop up a dinner at BOG and Narcoossee's, as well as add some lunch/breakfast. We love the dining plan and are really excited to have the deluxe version this go round.

We will be driving from Texas and staying at the beach before travelling to Orlando on the 5th. I do have some questions regarding our Monday check in. I know that our room probably will not be ready early, but we want to be at MK for the opening at 9 that day. How exactly does that work? Will our dining plan and tickets be all activated first thing the morning of the 6th? Can we do online check in super early that day and just leave our cars at the resort and hop the bus over to MK?

I'll be down those dates! I'm staying at the Boardwalk but I definitely enjoyed staying at CBR last summer; the refurbed rooms are nice
