We have had a change in plans... we decided to cancel our "sea" part of our vacation on the Fantasy to enjoy 2 full weeks at WDW - we are now doing June 30 - July 7 at Poly CL and July 7 - July 14th at AKL CL! Initially I was really sad to give up the cruise, but financially it just made sense for our family. I can't wait to enjoy the water parks for the first time on this trip and even go miniature golfing!

Just trying to decide now if we should upgrade to the PAP from our AP because of the water parks. Anyone have any thoughts on that?

Hi! can't answer your question but just wanted to say we did the same thing! Were originally doing 4 nights WDW and 4 night cruise but decided to switch to 8 nights at WDW to make full use of our APs and it saved us about $3000! I think we made the right decision for now and i am also looking forward to a more leisurely pace and maybe a stop at a water park!

We just booked OKW for July 24th-August 1st. ADR window opens on Saturday! ARGH! Lots of planning to do in the next 2 days! Any suggestions from any of you who go in the summer? I've been to WDW over 20X but only once in the summer! lol This time going with another family for a group of 10.

Do most of you go to one park in the morning, take a break and go back to another park in the evening? Trying to figure out where to make my ADRs. If I use the crowd calendar, those predictions are mostly for the days, not the evenings.

I was searching for July threads and found this one. I know it is mostly for WDW but I see a few DLR entries too.

Our family and extended family will be at the VGC from July 16 - 20. Of our 8 travelers, 3 have never been to Disney. So, there will be lots of "first times" for the group!

It will also be our first time in a DVC 2BR.

Midori told me a few days ago that she does not want me to go to Korea with her this summer.. What a bummer.. I really wanted to go but I see where she is coming from....She just wants it to be her and her friends...Midori is growing up way to fast...

So, with that being said.. I will probably take a Disney trip alone.... OMG go to stay busy while Midori goes to Korea...

It will probably be the second week like always..

Hello!!

Checking in for July! My daughter and I will be there July 2-9 celebrating her 16th birthday. My husband and sons (12&14) are going on a trip to Europe for soccer, and when I asked my daughter if she wanted to take a quick trip while the boys were gone, she immediately yelled, "Disney!"

We will be at PO Riverside, I booked a River View room, and am hoping for Magnolia Bend. We have TS Dining plan. I booked all our ADRs earlier this month, including a BOG dinner and CRT breakfast. So excited! I wasn't going to do either, but DD saw BOG on the Disney Channel, and said it was a must-do!

So we are obviously going to be there at a really crowded and hot time, but I'm doing my best to maximize our down time, and with just two of us, basically adults, I figure we will move quickly and efficiently. Still going back to the room for mid-day, and planned our completely free, non-park day for July 4th. But I did make an ADR for Cali Grill at 8:55 p.m. that night to get that great view of Wishes!

I'm working on my tentative touring plans and have a working sheet for planning my FP+ session, even though its not until May. But if anyone would understand how I feel, it's you guys!!

Don't know if I will experience the magic this year without Midori. Maybe a Cruise... OMG I don't know!!!!! I am devastated and can not believe my Dad & Daughter days are coming to an end. I get it.... Midori is growing up and I knew this day would come..

Maybe when she is in her mid 20's Dad & daughter trips will be back.....

Just booked a bounce-back offer when we were in WDW last month. We originally were going to do a week in Clearwater Beach, but upgraded to annual passes when we were just there so want to get our money's worth! So now we are doing 3 nights in Clearwater and 4 in WDW. We are booked for the Beach Club.

This will be totally new for us. We have always gone in the winter and stayed at a MK resort. So summer and an Epcot resort will be like a whole new trip! We figure since we have the AP we won't be stressing about being at the park from open to close and just plan on going early, hanging at the pool during the afternoon, and then back to a park in the evening.

I have ADR's at CRT, Beaches and Cream, Via Napoli, and Cape May Cafe Breakfast.

Yes, I am hoping as the time passes we will get more active too. I am a part of August 13 and 14 Dis facebook pages and it is cool that we are still chatting after the trips are over. =)
