We can now officially say that we are going to Disney next month!! I switched our resort to CSR, but the kids think we are staying in Pop plus they think we are going in August. We have never stayed there before. So exciting!

Right now we have our FP+ set for
Safari - all 4
Everest - 2
Dinosaur - 2
Kali - all 4 of us

We don't love Kali because none of us like walking around soaking wet, but I know that would be a hard one to get later if we decided we wanted to. I don't know that we'll 'waste' a FP on Lion King unless reports come back and there's some super great reserved viewing area or something. Then we'd prob swap out the Kali one.

Oh, cool! Last I heard it was just early entry.

We had a bad experience with reserved seating once. We found a lost child in AK and a CM insisted on giving us reserved seating at Lion King. Well, my husband is 6'5" and I'm 5'9" and the reserved seating was in front of the section for those in wheelchairs and their families. This lady yelled at us, went and got a CM, and complained loudly through the whole show because she couldn't see and she was with someone in a wheelchair so she should have the best seats (direct quote there.) I'm worried that will happen again, so I'm looking forward to hearing what/where the reserved section will be!

DH got a wild hair this morning and added 4 more days to our trip. He booked us at CBR, AKL was full.

CBR? Really? But, I am focusing on the four days earlier part. WHOOP WHOOP.

If anyone is interested there are FP+ available now for Anna & Elsa from 5:00pm until 30 minutes before Park closing in July and June. I don't know if anyone wants to see them again or change their existing time.

Thank you so much for posting this!!! You have made one 12 yr old girl very happy!!!! We had all our fast passes set. No luck with Anna and Elsa. I did read they were planning on extending hours but checked again last night and they were still not available. I read your post and immediately went online and we got a FP+ for July 4th!!! So happy!!! You made my daughters day!

Ok July folks. Our house has a debate going on and we need some help breaking a tie. We are doing a countdown calendar ( which we always do before our Disney trips). We used to do a Mickey head one with the paint chips you could get from home depot, but since we can't get those any more we have to do something else. In 2012 we did Mickey shaped head images pulled from a google search and printed out and glued on a posterboard. This year I thought we would do all kinds of Disney characters but we have a tie in the house. 2 for characters and 2 for Mickey heads. What would you all do? HELP!!!

Hello - My Friends --- Just wanted to come by and Hijack the July Thread for a moment. Midori just graduated 8th Grade and OMG High School this fall... Where has the time gone? Midori is growing up to fast.... She is already talking about Catholic Colleges, OMG - I haven't even started paying for her High School yet. Yes, all of our trips are getting closer and closer. I love this time...when it's so close it's starting to become a reality, but we have the whole trip just ahead of us to look forward to.

I would do different characters. You could keep to a theme like Pixar characters only but different ones, or characters from the same movie. How about the fab five as a compromise? You could alternate them.

I'm a fan of Mickey heads, personally. That reminds me; I need to do my mousekeeping envelopes. I prefer different characters for my mousekeeping envelopes.

I am now going to be obsessed with checking every day for BOG FP+ and FOTLK FP+. Helps pass the time, I guess.

I vote Mickey heads! I started making some, too, since they don't have the paint chips anymore. I traced the old paint chip rectangles onto scrapbook paper and then cut it out. Then I used my jumbo Mickey head punch on coordinating scrapbook paper and glued it onto the rectangle piece. They turned out SO cute Let me see if I can include a picture.
