Stayed up til midnight and snagged everything we wanted in FP when our window opened.

Woohoo... I got up at midnight and booked my fast passes.. I was able to get everything I wanted including Anna and Elsa and the mine train.
I thought it was a little time consuming being given a time then goin back to change that time after to a time we wanted.. 59 days and counting now

That will be me tonight. I have an alarm set for 11:45 in case I doze off...

Any tips? Should I do Anna/Elsa first even though I don't plan to see them til the middle of our trip?

YUP. That's what I did. I went to that one first just to snag what I could. Luckily, I got one for 9:10AM. I am torn about it though I would never tell DD. I hate to use a FP for a meet and greet....and so early in the morning. However, DD will be fresh and bright eyed for that meet. So that makes me happy about it. (Though we could be on Splash mountain)

I would also make them your first priority. I did use a 9:10 for ours also - on our first day- I couldn't believe I got that! When I asked DD what she wanted to do first she said to meet them and I can make that come true! We may beeline to Peter Pan for DS as the very first thing (his choice) just to give the rope drop craziness around them a little time to settle down.

Yea. Those seem like the most available. We are getting to the park in the PM too and got AE for like 2-3pm time frame.

I was able to get BoG for her bday dinner at the 180 day mark, and I scheduled BBB mid-day so she can get her princess on.

We have a late night scheduled the day before, so I was planning to keep this morning pretty quiet for a sleep in day, and then go to DTD so she can have a birthday shopping spree! I also planned BBB in DTD, as I suspect it will be calmer (and cooler!) than braving MK that afternoon. We plan to head over to MK for her 7pm BoG dinner @5, and I am praying that we can schedule Anna and Elsa @ 6:00. Wish me luck!

Awesome!!!! We snagged SDMT for 2 days as well! Glad you were able to get what you wanted.

Ok, I remember the rest of our theme park days. On the 25th we are going to legoland and the 26th is a resort day.

7/27: TSMM, Indiana jones, and lights, motor, action
7/28: Soarin (can u tell it's our favorite?!), spaceship earth, turtle talk
7/29: space mountain, Peter Pan, MSEP

And I made a mistake for July 22nd...we don't have a FP+ spaceship earth that day. I wanted to get a FP+ for illuminations for due to tiering I couldn't get that one plus Soarin. Since we could still see the fireworks without a FP+, I figure if we can't get the FP+ it's not a big deal. The system suggested Mission Space. We don't ever go near that ride, but I took it at 11:15 so it could expire and I can try to get the FP for illuminations. (Mission Space is our last FP+ since we did morning ones). If illuminations doesn't work out with a FP+ it's no big deal to us.

So now, I'm all excited not to have to run to Soarin or TSMM for a FP like I did in our last three trips!! DH will take the boys on test track at rope drop since it is in the same tier as Soarin.

We're finally approaching our 60 day mark, and the emails are flying as we prepare to book those FPs! I placed our order through Garden Grocer and got the 10% discount... hey, it may as well be in my pocket as theirs. Our order isn't going to change, so there was no harm in booking early.

How'd you get a 10% discount on GG?

Anna and Elsa stop meeting at 5:00pm. I am not sure what the last time they offer for their FP times. I was looking for a time around 1:00 so I did not pay attention to the later times offered. I hope it will work out for you to go around 4:00pm.

It's funny you say that... last week they didn't have their pictures up next to Aurora at all! We first arrived in the evening so we thought it was because they were done for the day... but then when we were there in the morning another day, their pictures still weren't up! I wonder why they do that? I saw a whole bunch of people walking around confused because they couldn't find their pictures between the two lines and they kept asking CM's ... I'm guessing that would've gotten annoying to the CM's after a while!

I was just about to ask the same thing We are getting ready to plan out our order!

I also found this a nuisance and waste of time for no apparent reason. After the first few days I started immediately hitting the selection option that gave me times that were completely opposite to what I wanted (so if I wanted late afternoon / evening FP's I chose the earliest morning set) and then at least when I went to change them there were no conflicts. I find shifting something a pain too. When you have them for say 10, 11, 12 am and you want to change one of them, you have to shift them all and even if you may have initially got them back to back, when you go change, if the time is off for one by 5 minutes it won't let you book it without having to shift everything else too.

I learned the same thing (the hard way, after the first few FP+.) I even shared this tip on the FP info thread because it saved SO much time!

Well, we had to change our vacation dates (again). Good news is we are moving up to June (only 24 days left now)!! Bad news - I had to forfeit the A & E FP+ that I scored and have been unable to find availability for new dates Up side is that kids don't know we are going so my DD didn't know we had FP+ for A & E so she won't be disappointed now
