We are going July 22-28th and for the first time staying at Boardwalk Inn. LOVE POR though. But now my teenagers are larger and the trundle won't work!! Trying to decide on Quick Service Dining this time ... with 3 teens ... we have ALWAYS done sit down dinners, but I think this time they want more freedom ! Still, Teppan Edo is on my list !!
Wondering about the Boardwalk Inn pool ... I usually like the tropical feel, so this will be different for sure. I imagine when I get tired, that the kids can keep going and my husband and I can hang out by pool and relax !!!

It was amazing! The CM's there were so helpful and friendly - always willing to help out in any way! The food was delicious - loved the mimosas! Make sure you get some! Lounge was spacious and inviting. Gorgeous all around! Truly a wonderful experience! Looking forward to going back in July 2015 maybe!

We didn't. We wanted to at MK yesterday around 12:30pm when we finished our first 3 but the line was so long at the place we found (I'm sure that there were other ones - we didn't look around) - that it deterred us from doing any more - we just decided to do things without FP's at that point. If we could have booked them through my phone it would've been a no-brainer - but we just didn't feel like waiting in a line to book them when we were trying to avoid waiting in a line for a ride!!

to the July thread. We are staying at POR but this may be the only time we can do that since the next time we go back our kids will probably both be teens as well. My daughter is soooo looking forward to sleeping on that fold out bed.

Ok, I am going to sound like such the idiot now! We were counting down for our FP+ window to open and it was yesterday. I knew since I was working then having a meeting at the kids school then going right to gymnastics that I wouldn't get on to the computer until 7pm. So I get home and get food then we had to take the car and drop it off to get fixed and by the time I get home, I FORGOT!!!!! So finally there was some commercial on the TV and I was like, Holy Cow!!! I forgot our FP+. It was 10:45pm and I was already up an hour past when I should be getting ready for bed. Oh well, I stayed up and just got some basic times done and will be going on after dinner tonight with my DH to get it exactly how I really like them (or really close)! What a DOH kind of moment!!!

You'll love the Boardwalk! We always stay at Boardwalk Villas, our DVC home. We will be there July 20-30. It is so nice to be able to walk to two of the parks, or take the boat if we're too tired on the way back to the resort ( we usually walk though). The Boardwalk Bakery has some really delicious treats!

We do a lot of sit down dinners. DH and I prefer them and it makes it feel like more of a relaxing vacation. But my kids are only 9 and 7. I'm sure they will also want the freedom when they're teenagers!

The pool at the Boardwalk is very nice. My boys enjoy the water slide. They also have a couple of quiet pools so you can relax there if you prefer. But only the main pool has a lifeguard. We love the Boardwalk! The entertainment at night is a lot of fun, and you can see some of the Epcot fireworks from the boardwalk.

Thankfully, no. I even asked my DD repeatedly if she wanted to meet them or not and every time was an emphatic NO! (no offense to anyone, she just isn't into meet and greets anymore or at this stage anyway)

Ferrentinos- How was your view?

Perfect! Right in the middle of the Arusha savannah - giraffe, zebra and other animals daily and plentiful! A 2 minute walk to the elevator and lounge, maybe a 4 minute walk to the pool. Was perfect! Room 4421. We also had bunk beds which DD found to be the coolest thing! And it gave us a little extra floor space. We have zero complaints! Well... Only that we had to leave!!

Having a terrible time here.... We got our tickets from the base, linked everything in MDE, but when I go to book fast passes it keeps telling me we don't have park admission!! I'm on hold with Disney right now to try and fix it....

So I have an answer. Even though EVERYTHING says I can do fastpass on the 20th of May, they're showing at the call center that I can't do it until the 21st. I have a letter, an email, my welcome booklet, everything that says the 20th.... but they won't let me do it until tomorrow. It's just one day and I'll live, I'm just disappointed....
