Here we go again! Lol. So we decided to drive to save money this year and we switched our resort. We are now staying July 28- August. 4 @ POR and August 4-6 @ AKL.

Haven't stayed at POR in a long time. Haven't been there since our honeymoon in 2002, but looking forward to trying something new with the kids.

Hi! We are SO excited to head back in July. We are going down in a few weeks but I couldn't pass up the excitement of a longer trip this summer!!!

We are busy trying to figure out the best resort choice for us... we are Poly lovers at heart but with no volcano pool in the July heat, we are planning to go elsewhere... we are so torn between the WL CL, VWL... we may buy in to DVC before this trip which may alter our plans... I'm just such a planner that it is killing me that we can pin-point that part of the plan! Does anyone know if both VWL and WL CL were included in last year's discount? I read through my notes from last year's July trip but didn't note that... To be honest, I'm not even sure if villas are ever in the discount! We've never stayed in a villa... but the idea of having our own bedroom and a washer/dryer with full kitchen is SO tempting!!! What's your thoughts???

Can anyone else tell that I am OVER the MOON excited to plan this trip??? (And I am still finalizing plans for our trip in a few weeks!)

DH and I just got back a few weeks ago from our first Christmas Disney trip. We had a great time. We usually go in summer and are looking to go back July 5-12, 2014.

So happy to have you with us for this trip!

I have booked us flights for July 27-August 7! Super excited for this chance to go alone with DD15! This will be our 6th trip, but first time for us 2 alone! Now that the flights are booked, I am on the watch for which resort. We plan to get APs, so hoping there is some kind of discount. I would like to stay Dolphin/Swan for location & affordability or else a value. What kind of rates/discounts are generally offered for this time of travel?
