I live in Lansdale. I used to work in Norristown.

I'm in Ambler!

WOWwe are all neighbors! I love how websites like these can make my world smaller and smaller. I did a dining review for my last trip and someone that posted a comment turned out to live only 1/2 mile from me! This is awesome. And we are all going to Disney in July. Amazing, love it!!!

I booked some of my ADRs today. Here is what I have so far.

June 30 - Dinner at Be Our Guest
July 1 - Dinner at Le Cellier
July 2 - Dinner at the Brown Derby
July 3 - Lunch at the Tusker House
July 4 - ( they were having troubles booking ADRs for this date. Gotta call back)
July 5 - Dinner at Ohana
July 6 - Dinner at Maya Grill
July 7 - Dinner at Cape May.

That's all I have so far. Have to call back and book the rest (up to July 15) as they come available.

Last year I was able to call for the Disney Visa summer discount on March 28... what is everyone's thoughts about when/if discounts will come out for this summer? I'm hoping for a good one again!

So just incase you haven't seen it when I posted earlier (or you weren't on the board then) and you haven't looked at Post # 577 or #579, here is my itinerary for park touring and where we are (at this point)hoping to get our ADR's for our July 18-27 stay.

July 18 Arrival in afternoon and dinner at Ohana
July 19 Off Property family party all day
July 20 MK- Chef Mickey Breakfast (DD request) and BOG dinner
July 21 HS- 50's Primetime Café Lunch and fast food in park dinner
July 22 Epcot- Rose &Crown lunch and Teppan Edo dinner
July 23 DTD- Raglan Road Lunch (w/my mom & dad) and Maya Grill dinner
July 24 Epcot- Via Napoli Lunch (no kids this entire day ) and Yachtsman Steak house dinner
July 25 AK- Yak & Yeti lunch and Cape May Clam Bake (w/my mom & dad) dinner
July 26 MK- Kona Café Breakfast (w/my mom & dad) and Cosmic Ray's dinner
July 27 Departure day Breakfast at resort

Hopefully others of you will have some similar locations/ADR's and we could set up a meet while down in Disney!!

Last year I was able to call for the Disney Visa summer discount on March 28... what is everyone's thoughts about when/if discounts will come out for this summer? I'm hoping for a good one again!

I wasn't sure when that came out, but I am sure hoping for something, anything at this point. The only thing that wouldn't help me is free dining (and I know they usually don't offer that in July)!

My TA will take care of any discount that is available when they come out. I like not having to worry about it too much. But a discount would be very nice.

When we went in August 2012 I got a PIN for free dining. I am hoping for a PIN this time!

Every time we have gone in August it was with free dining and right before our kids went back to school. I am going in July because of a family Graduation/18th birthday party/going away to college party. I am hoping for the % off for resort stay. If it is a decent one and my next 2 months go well, I might even upgrade to moderates. If not or I just want to save more $$, I will just stay at POP.

We got a free dining pin for our July 2012 trip. I believe the email came in March or April.

I remember we had to check in by the last Friday in June in order to use it for our trip.

I hope we we're lucky enough to get a similar discount this time around.

In 2012 we stayed at POP. This time we are staying at All Star Music, but we will also upgrade to a moderate if a decent discount comes out or a PIN. I am have my eye on CBR!

Hi everyone... We have not been in a few years, and now that my oldest is in HS we need to go in July instead of August (or end of July overlapping into the 1st week of August.)

We were thinking about going July 27-Aug 3; however, we could go the week before... Which week (if either) would the crowds be better?

I don't know that there is much difference in those 2 times. I think the drop off actually happens in the middle of August when southern states kids go back to school and college students head back to their campuses.

Wow, we really are! I used to live in Conshohocken on North lane and my Dr office is on Germantown Pike in Lafayette Hill. Small world.

My DH was just in LH yesterday for the funeral of his Aunt.

Sorry to hear about your DH's Aunt. It is a small world... we probably live down the street from your dr's office!

I will let you know when we decide on our dates for sure. I'm almost positive we are staying at POR. We always stay there - but thought about trying Beach Club. We are waiting until the summer discounts come out... but even with the "historical discounts," there would still be about a $900 difference, and I don't know if it's really worth it!

For me (imho), I would rather stay value and if I was going to spend the $900, I would use it for flying instead of driving! I have stayed deluxe before and love it, but I know if I want to do all the food and other things I love in Disney, I will need to (for this trip) go cheaper on the resort. It is still Disney and we are in our rooms SOOOOOO little, I would rather put the money in a different category of my budget. But that is just me!

So I'm working on figuring out all of our days in July - we haven't booked our RO reservation yet but will do so before our 180 days. When my 180 day mark hits, can I only do ADR's on the first day of our trip? Do I have to go on each day to book for that next day of the trip? Do I need to have our RO booked by then?

At the 180 mark you should be able to book ALL the ADR's you want. If they are available. Right now, BOG seems to be feeling up super duper fast. And CRT.

Hoping for a room only discount. Free dining would just be too much food for us. But I will happily use any discount Disney wants to give me!
