So, in an effort to find my "delivered" magic bands, I today called the post office again and spoke to the manager that I spoke to yesterday. The same one that PROMISED me he would find out from my carrier what happened to my delivered package. I spoke to him and he was so sorry that he "dropped the ball" and forgot to find out what happened. I'm sorry, you WHAT??? How many other complaints do you have that you forgot mine??? If it's that many, you all are in trouble. So fine, He will find out today and absolutely get back to me today no later than 7pm but if I want to, I can call him after 5:30pm. I started trying to call at 5:45pm until 7pm and every time I called, every 3 minutes or so, it was continually busy. How is that possible for that length of time??? Did I get a call from the manager by 7pm??? NO I DID NOT!!! I am furious. So, I call Disney and explain what happened and they were so nice. They are shipping out a new set and said if we receive the first set, just use them as souvenirs. I had told the manager that this was very important vacation stuff. He said oh, that's nice. So done with them. What he doesn't know is that if he doesn't call me tomorrow by noon, he will be getting a visit!

That is so frustrating..glad Disney was so understanding

Our magic bands arrived yesterday!! Woo hoo!!!!

Graduation today for my students, last day tomorrow and end term party! My beautiful niece graduated elementary school yesterday and won the music award. I'm so proud of her!

Does anyone have any experience with adding someone to your reservation? My sister didn't think she was going to be able to join us, but now she can (even if it's just for two days,) yay However, I'm trying to figure out what this will mean now with Magic Bands, FP+, and Magical Express. I'm going to call and add her today (and just tell them she'll only be with us for 2 days.) Will they send her a MB and ME tags? I'm also really hoping it's not too late to get her similar FP+ times to ours.

No but they assured me that they will be here before we leave. I confirmed my address so there would be no issues.

In regards to SRUAImn and adding a person....

Just went through this two days ago. My SiL is coming only for two days of our 10 day trip. You cannot add her to you room package unless she is getting the same package as everyone else, including dining and tickets. So I had to call just the disney tickets line to get her a 1 day pass. They gave me a number to link the ticket to our MDE and placed the ticket at will call for the park we will be going to. She will not have a MB but a regular ticket. She is staying in our room just one night, just unofficially Should be easy but..... Unfortunately, the first CM at the disney tickets number royally messed up our order. The 1 day ticket was listed as MK even though we were going to Epcot (I couldn't see why that mattered in the first place). So I waited on hold for about half an hour for that to be fixed. Then when I got the ticket number it did not work in MDE, the CM had linked ticket for my DW instead of SiL. This time I called and was sent to a tech person. The tech CM fixed it easily and even got all the FP+ ressies matched exactly. So in the end all was great, it just took me over an hour on the phone. Just make sure the park is specified correctly if it is a 1 day ticket and be sure it is linked to the correct person in your profile.

Thank you so much! We have a room only reservation, so hopefully that will make things easier! We also have a two bedroom villa at BLT so I don't know if we'd get an extra room charge or not since that would be a 5th person and I don't know how they do the max occupancy for the Villas. I'll call today and see what they can do

Oh, and as for your ticket issue, the one day tickets are priced differently ( just figured this out last night when looking for my sister since we've never had to buy a one day ticket!) MK one day tix are $5ish more expensive than a one day ticket for one of the other parks.

After seeing all these MB delivery issues, I am starting to feel lucky that I am Canadian and have to pick them up at the resort. I was disappointed about that at first. I hope it works out for all of you still waiting for yours!

Graduation was tonight for my students. We had 800 graduates, and altogether our students received over $20 million in scholarships!!! I'm so proud of them and all of their hard work and accomplishments. This year's class was extraordinary in so many ways. I'm going to miss them so much!

Last day tomorrow and end term party tomorrow night where we bid farewell to the retirees. One of them is the paraprofessional in our department, who has really gone above and beyond for the students. She works with our bilingual students and the ESL teachers. But she also does so much for our department (Foreign Language and ESL). She will be greatly missed but we are all so happy for her.

23 days until we leave, but 25 until check-in! Now I'm going into the phase of "I have to get a billion things done before the trip...did I buy all the necessities or am I forgetting something? Is the daily theme park itinerary good enough or should I tweak it at all? Are the ADRs we have really perfect? " And it's not just with the trip planning. I get crazy about the house too. I have to leave my house 100% spotless and perfectly clean and neat when I leave for vacation. It's a thing I have. I need to come home to a perfectly clean and neat house after a vacation. The funny thing is that while I'm regularly cleaning the house and doing everything all the time, I'm not fanatical about it. There is always clutter around here, whether it's books and papers on the dining room table, my makeup and beauty products spread out on my dresser (I have a lot of those!), or the kids' toys all over the place. And it bothers me to and extent, but not like right before we leave on vacation. Everything has to be perfect. Are you guys the same way?

I am completely that way!!! I have to have a clean house or I can't think straight and definitely can't relax. It drives DW and DD crazy. We laugh all the time and say we have a flipped relationship, I'm the neat freak super planner, she's the ...eh whatever. But we balance each other out.

I'm so excited to finally have to wait less than 20 days! We have friends coming to visit this weekend - so next week I can really start laying things out in the guest room to get organized for packing. We decided that since we are flying with 1 free checked bag each and using ME to and from the airport that we are actually going to bring 3 suitcases! I am normally cramming things and stressing over not having enough room - with 8 nights and 3 of us at least I can relax a bit when packing!
