I am hoping in the fall or winter the budget will be there to do another 3 nights somewhere deluxe with DH so he can experience it too. Probably will have to wait until tax refund and bonus installment time early next year though to swing deluxe. We want to go in October and again in December for 2-3 nights each. Maybe I'll do a value and a mod. We usually stay offsite for around 125 a night so it shouldn't be too much of a difference. I can use the military discount but I am hoping they do another AP holder one like this summer since it is only 5% less discounted and has memory maker. I swear that mouse gets all my spending money! Wish i had more of it to give him haha!

Hello Disney peeps! We are going to WDW from July 20th to the 27th! We are staying at POR. I am staying on property for the first time ever and I'm really excited. This marks our 4th trip in two years. We plan on trying new experiences this time around. We are going to see The Hoop De Doo Musical Review for the first time. We booked a couple of spots for Epcot After Hours at Spice Road Table and we are attending the 5 hour behind the scenes tour of MK (forgot what it's called). I'm excited to have the luxury of taking more vacation time this summer. Our past trips have been fairly brief. We have also been writing down various food and drinks that we'd like to try. Has anyone tried "tipsy ducks in love" at Joy of Tea? It's coffee, tea, chocolate, bourbon, and milk. Sounds intriguing. We've also cancelled our ADR for Brown Derby to opt for the new Brown Derby Lounge that has recently opened. The sliders are supposed to rock! I hope everyone has a great vacation in July!

I enjoyed Tipsy Ducks in love in February. It was good, different. I like green tea and chocolate... Those favors dominate. I don't think it is a repeat for me, but I did enjoy it.

For as long as I can remember, MK has had PM EMH on Sundays (used to be Fridays, too!) For the past 5 months the site has listed Sunday, July 20, as having PM EMH until 1:00am. I made our plans (ADRs and FP+) based on this schedule since it was going to be our resort day and we were ONLY going to do MK PM EMH that day. I just logged in to check hours to see if anything was extended, and now it shows MK PM EMH being on Saturday, July 19, instead. This changes a lot for us. We had planned on being at MK in the morning on Saturday because it was listed as an OK park for that day, but if there are PM EMH there, does that mean it might be a bad day now? There are actually AM EMH that day too (at DHS,) so maybe most people would go there? Grr......


Just an FYI for anyone else going the week we are - they also changed AK AM EMH from Monday (July 21) to Sunday (July 20.)

UPDATE: I just did an online chat with a CM (I know, not always the most accurate, but I thought I'd share.) She said ALL MK PM EMH have been changed to Saturdays instead of Sundays, not just the date I was asking about.

Yes, they added a Sunday morning MK EMH for June 29. I'm bummed because we have an 8am CP breakfast and there is no way we are getting that time on another morning, although I keep checking. So we are keeping the ADR.

We were disappointed with Brown Derby Lounge in January. :-( That is our favorite type of place ( small plates/tapas, drinks, desserts) and it fell short. We did have a great server, who snuck two pieces of my beloved BD grapefruit cake out from the restaurant. Lol

We much prefer Spice Road Table and Tutto Gusto. Will be returning to both on our upcoming mother-daughter trip and our (what is becoming annual!) January trip with the three of us. Yes - hubby does get to come then!

That's the thing! With FP+ and ADRs everything has to be set in stone way in advance, so its ridiculous that they'd change EMH this close to travel dates. Everyone has to be an über planner now. I had a BOG ressie for dinner that I was lucky enough to get and now I have to adjust our schedule, but I don't want to give up the ADR so I've got some work to do!

Stupid snow days!!!! I get out Wed. Then it's Florida on Sat. Woohoo!!!!!
I vacuumed the truck today. I'm doing some laundry which I feel is useless since they'll need the clothes this week. I'll be doing more on Friday I'm sure. It's so much easier to pack for Disney anytime other than summer. Lol

That's great! The CM I chatted with gave me the blanket statement that "MK PM EMH have been moved to Saturdays," which to me sounded like ALL of them, but maybe it's just for our week, or our week and later? So annoyed.

I live in Charleston, SC, so it's like our MBs are dancing all around us, but they aren't coming here It's making me nuts! Someone previously mentioned the different methods they've been shipped is making a big difference in how fast they arrive. I guess I got the slowpoke one

That is just weird. I live in NC, mine shipped one day and they were delivered the next.

I think the USPS delivers when they want to. I sell on line and a few weeks ago a package going to NJ went to FL.
