Koh1977, They better not change, I have a late ADR at CRT that night. I don't mind them adding more hours, but they should keep the ones they have for their guests to continue with plans we made based on their schedules

Do you get a email confirmation when they ship?

Yes! Our "last day to customize" was Monday (July 16.) I received an email confirmation that they shipped on Wednesday (July 18.) The anticipated arrival date said Wednesday (July 25,) but I thought there was no way it would take a full week to come to Charleston, SC, from Memphis. Guess I was wrong!

That is just weird. I live in NC, mine shipped one day and they were delivered the next.

I think the USPS delivers when they want to. I sell on line and a few weeks ago a package going to NJ went to FL.

So weird! I seriously was starting to think that it got left on a truck or something. Why on earth would it have gone from Memphis, to Atlanta, and back to Memphis? Someone didn't unload the FULL truck in Atlanta

My magic bands say they are in Philadelphia for this entire day. I could just drive there and pick them up, for real!!! They are less than 20 miles from my house and I probably won't see them until about noon on Tuesday! It says they would be delivered by the 26th, so I guess they are ahead of schedule.

In other news, I got my paperwork packet and booklet with our new luggage tags! Mickey Mail!!!!!

Yay! I'm at 10 days! Going to Caribbean Beach Resort for the first time. This is only my second time staying on property. My sister and I snagged a lunch Fastpass for BOG on our first day! Really excited! It will be a great way to celebrate being out of school for the summer (we are both teachers). To all those who have started their trips, ENJOY!

Really excited! It will be a great way to celebrate being out of school for the summer (we are both teachers). To all those who have started their trips, ENJOY!

Teacher here too! Can't wait to get out. If it weren't for snow days, we would've been out last Thurs. we don't get out til Wed.
Then leave for Disney 2 days later.

Me too!!! I'm so annoyed because mine went from Memphis, to Atlanta, back to Memphis, and then to Greensboro, NC. I live in Charleston, SC, so it's like our MBs are dancing all around us, but they aren't coming here It's making me nuts! Someone previously mentioned the different methods they've been shipped is making a big difference in how fast they arrive. I guess I got the slowpoke one

Those recitals are the best!!

Right now we are in the middle of Regents week, NY State exams for high schools. Tomorrow is the foreign language one (my subject is Italian), but I'm not teaching a Regents class this year...they take the exam after the third year. I have first, second and fourth year Italian classes. Wednesday afternoon is the last state exam, and that evening we have our graduation at the Javits Convention Center in Manhattan. Last time I worked graduation it was at Lincoln Center! It will be very nice. Thursday is the last day for teachers, and our students just come in to get their final report cards, in the morning. Then I have a production meeting for our musical in December. Our students are going to be performing "The Wizard of Oz" and I'm really looking forward to doing make-up and hair for that one! This will be the first time my school has ever put on that production, in the 40 years since the school first opened. And they always do two musicals and two non-musical productions each year, in addition to the student-run musical that I'm in charge of, which happens in February every year. It's nice working with the kids on these shows, and looking forward to the next school year even though I am sooooooo ready for summer vacation and WDW!!!

I will be obsessing for the three weeks I will have once I'm off starting later this week, until we leave for WDW. Can't wait to obsess and then to go!

As long as they don't get car sick, a DVD player with their favorite movies. You could get a portable one with a case that hooks onto the back of the front seats, so it's centered and they could all see it.

We discovered on our last trip that our younger one gets car sick. Learned that the hard way between the DVD player and his DS games. He had been fine with movies on the first two trips at ages 1 and 3, but last time, at age 5, it was terrible for him on the way home between that and a stomach bug he had caught. The doctor and us all thought it was only the stomach bug that made him sick. A few months later, on Christmas, we were traveling on the highway on the way to family friends for the holiday and he got sick while playing on the DS. That confirmed that he gets car sick, so no more DVD player for the trip. This should be interesting!
