Okay, we are in "prepare mode" in our household. DH is trying to get all the yard work done as well as other last minute things. I think I may have finally finished shopping, although that is not a promise.

I took another look at my plans today and switched a couple FPs around so they make more sense.

Yesterday I had to resend a room request to POFQ because I requested the wrong room number on our reservations (duh! ). Well, to be fair, I did do that when I was extremely sick. This also allowed me to put in extra information so if that exact room isn't open, I could describe what type of room I wanted and in what building. Keeping my fingers crossed!

For so long I felt so out of it and unprepared due to the chaos of life this winter and then the chaos of end of school. However, I am definitely on it now. Yay!

I don't think I'll be able to print out the July Disney head. You can throw darts if you wish. However, I'll be sure to post a photo of my baggalini and green mickey head before I leave. That way if you happen to be looking for me, you'll know what you are looking for!

Still trying to decide exactly how to do my nails for the trip, but I have a general idea.

Okay, I need Wednesday to come fast and the days of our trip to go slowly!

Lots of teachers in this group! Our last day was Wed. (Me) and Thu. (My kids). I just started to get nervous about packing today! I still have 10 days until our trip (we are doing a west coast trip before disney), but I can't seem to keep the swimsuits, etc. clean and dry to pack!

We are packed. We still have 20 days until disney, but we leave on Saturday for Florida to visit family. Things are under way for the house, dh asked the neighbor to look after the house while we are gone. I am doing some deep cleaning, I hate to come home to a messy house. I am getting nervous about it now. I have been counting down from the 400 numbers and it's finally almost here.

Finally! Seriously, they actually originated in Davenport, FL, passed us in Charleston, SC and went to Memphis, then to Atlanta, then to Memphis again , then to Greensboro, NC, and then here. The gas it cost USPS to do all that back and forth could've paid for another WDW trip for us

I'm pleasantly surprised to see that they're slightly less bulky and are a little more 'delicate' than I expected!

Hello all! Just wanted to share a little story that I found amusing. My birthday was yesterday and I got some cards and gifts from the family and then we had my DD's gymnastics end of year party. That was nice and fun and free food, so all was good. I had booked a comp room at the casino hotel in the town next to me since it was free and on my birthday. My DD and I went and during this whole time I kept thinking about Disney and how if what happened to me there, it would have been a whole different story and outcome. first they said they were doing electrical work from 11p-5am and power would be out but AC would not be affected. I said ok as I didn't need power just AC as I would be asleep. Turns out AC went out first, then lights and there was no clock in the room and the Jacuzzi tub only worked for 5 mins for my DD. I could barely breathe (asthma) with no AC and no windows to open so we checked out at 1:30am and went home. I kept thinking, What Would Disney Do??? The check out lady said, well it was a comped room so you are good to go! What no offer for anything else. CRAZY, at least to me!!! So glad the rest of my birthday was good!

We leave on vacation on Friday but do not check in to Disney until Saturday. 5 days - can't wait!! I wish we received our MagicBands in he mail - we are Canadian so we have to pick them up at the resort at check in.
