We are hoping to make it to SC but just over the border lol. Florence. so we will be leaving from there Saturday morning does that count?

We're on the North side of Charlotte. If we leave at 6, like we hope, we should be there by 3 at the latest. It's such an easy drive from here.

We are about 45 min NW of Charlotte, and it is an easy drive! We try to leave by 4am, 5 at the latest. It seems like we never get there before 3pm because we waste time at the Florida Welcome Center( free orange juice and getting tons of brochures) , and we usually stop at the outlets in St. Augustine( Crocs!)

I shouldn't say *waste time* at the Fl welcome center, I love that place for some reason!

We leave NC Saturday morning! WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOO!!!!What's the latest on the weather and the crowds? It looks like it's going to be gorgeous there, and I hope the crowds are super low!!

Us too! We leave Saturday morning from NC! The weather looks awesome! Highs in the low 80s and lows in the 50s! Sounds perfect to me, hoping for low crowds too!

Were in NC and what time you leaving?...we are driving from Durham NC and I think we are leaving about 6am...maybe earlier if I can get my butt out of bed...thinking I can since I will be so excited I probably wont be able to sleep.

We are leaving from NC too, but on Friday morning!! We are leaving at 7 and then upon arrival will check into Pop Century for the night. We check
into Old Key West Saturday morning!
Hoping for good weather and safe travel for all of us!

I'm definitely interested in what you think of Legoland. We were gonna go but decided against it since all the reviews were so bad. Maybe things have gotten better now that they've had a few months and crowd levels are down.

We have points to use for WBC so we need to stay there....that means we cannot join you for dance party right? DS6..... oh he sure would love this!!!! Not sure how to swing it!!!!

Ok, you just gotta laugh now at all the refurbs going on this week.. (or else you'll cry!). Here's another one:


"Crane to be onsite for the Castle Dream Light removal from Thursday night. A crane is scheduled to be onsite after park close on Thursday January 19 at Cinderella Castle for removal of the castle Dream Lights. It typically takes around 7 days to remove the lights."

This is our first Jan visit. We usualy go in Nov or Dec. But I swear, the last 3 visits there has been a stupid crane there. I'm getting used to see it and I'm not convinced it's not ALWAYS there anymore. Good thing I'm great in Photoshop.

YAAAAAAAAAAY we leave tomorrow. less than 24 hours and we will be on the road.

This morning is dragging by but this afternoon will go quickly. We are starting our first day in a new homeschool co op for three hours this afternoon so at least I won't be sitting here watching the minutes tick by LOL.

Really it's getting a bit out of hand next week with refurbs and dark shows, Oh well!! I will not let that get me down, I will still be in the World for a week and the weather looks beautiful!! We may actually get to swim a bit.

Everything is packed up and ready to go--house is clean--refrig is cleaned out (who wants to come home to furry leftovers )..now we just hurry up and wait..off to hotel at airport tomorrow evening and then bright and early saturday we are off
