HELP with Walmart order

I just placed an order for be delivered on 3/3 to The Polynesian between 2p-4p. I should get there by 5pm. I just got my confirmation email and it says I need to be present for delivery and provide a passcode. What did I do wrong? I thought it would be dropped off with resort staff and they would hold it for me until I got there. I did leave instructions in my order with my name and that I would like my order left with hotel staff. Can I fix this or am I screwed?

You did not do anything wrong Walmart added the Passcode / Bar Code (on the app) for curbside pickup or delivery. It should still be left with Bell Services at least in the short term.

I placed an order for 3/2 at Pop on my laptop and I'm not seeing anything with like this. Where did you see this? Was it on your order confirmation?

I had the same issue yesterday. I placed an order on my desktop, but then when I went through the app, it was canceled. I chatted with Walmart via the app and was told that whatever device you start the order on, you need to continue it. So I started an order this morning via the app, but was given the same thing about a passcode that I need to present to the driver. What is that all about?

Did you order via the app or desktop? I ordered through the desktop, but it was canceled. Re-ordered via the app and was told the same thing about needing to be there to present code. Have you found any answers yet?

The PIN Code / Bar Code feature was added by Walmart last month. They used to ask for just the contact person's name.

I ran into it last month when it was rolled out here.

Walmart is implementing a 4-digit PIN code (or barcode) for pickup and delivery orders to enhance security and ensure order accuracy. Customers can find this unique code within the Walmart app or email confirmation and must provide it to the associate or driver upon receiving their order.

Where to Find It: Located in the "Order Details" section of the Walmart app or in your confirmation email.

How it Works (Delivery): For certain deliveries (especially high-value items or if required), the driver will ask for this code to verify identity.

The delivery driver should text you asking for the code and you could then give it to them. Of course if your up in the air on a plane this might not work.

Are you saying that Bell Services will text you for the code when Walmart arrives? Will Walmart have your contact info and give it to Bell Services so they can text you? Or will Walmart text you for the code when they get to Bell Services?

Sorry I should have been more clear and have updated my post.

The delivery driver will text you as they can't complete the order without it from what I understand
