I'm down to 11 days and I just got my suitcase out a few minutes ago! This is my 21st trip to WDW and I still get this excited every time! My music player has been non-stop Disney music since before Christmas.

I'm so looking forward to it because these last few months at work have been crazy and stressful. Plus, it will just be me and my youngest sister for the first 4 days of the trip before our dad joins us, so I am excited for some girls-only time. (Not that I don't enjoy spending time with my DH or my dad...) It will also be her first time visiting the WWoHP at Universal and she has been looking forward to it since it opened!

Guess I'd better start packing!

Just waiting for my Christmas company to leave so I can start my packing...laying out clothes for each day, getting toiletries, etc.

Will take one more look at my park schedule but then I'm leaving it alone!

Now I'm trying to decide whether I should rent a car or take Disney Magical Express to ASMu and the resort buses to the parks. Any suggestions for a low priced rental car?

If touringplans would just leave well enough alone then I wouldn't be rethinking my park schedule!! I'm with you guys and have decided not to mess with it anymore.

I'm more worried about the weather for next weekend. Looks like it's getting colder. I was hoping for at least 70s. Please help me pray to the Florida Weather Gods!

I'm a Floridian 6 years now and I can say this EVERY year since I'm here it seems the day after Christmas the temperature dips and it stays cold through February. I would expect it to go up into the mid 70s but 40s and 50s at night!

we are staying at Old key West from jan 22nd to Jan 27th

Can't WAIT Now that Christmas is over the countdown is really on.

We are doing BBB for the first time. I'm still hoping for a morning cancellation at MK lol.

Ten days for us! I can't wait! We are at the Pop from the 7th until the 22nd and then 3 nights at Loew's Royal Pacific Resort. We've never been to the WWoHP before so we are thrilled for the entire trip!

Only 10 days to go for us! We will be at Pop on the 7th, then Coronado Springs the 8th - 16th!

Reviewed my packing list today and went to pick up a few travel things we need. I want to be completely packed by the end of the weekend, so we can just have our short 4 day week and then take off! It is so hard not to over pack at this time of year. I want to make sure we are prepared for the weather. My husband and I went years ago in January, before we were married. They had a record cold snap and we were not prepared. We had to buy hats and gloves. All of our photos from that trip have us all bundled up and huddled together. Last January, I only brought 2 short sleeved shirts thinking it would be cool the entire time we were there. It was in the upper 70s and low 80s most of the time we were there. Had to go to Walmart and get some short sleeved shirts so as not to roast in the afternoons. This year I will be watching the forecast very closely and making any required last minute changes.

From what I can see it looks like the temps will be in the 70's during the day and 50's at night, which is fine with me. But, you can't really trust anything more than about 3 days out.

Hey everyone! We are staying from Jan 22nd - 29th at CSR. We got our Mickey mail today with the luggage tags and book with the vouchers and Magical Express stuff. The envelope also had the photo pass card to register in advanced. It seemed like when we went in July these things came separate.
My MIL and FIL also received theirs in the mail yesterday. They are in OK so I bet all those going around the same time as us will probably start to see your's showing up in the mailbox soon.

We will be there before we know it.

Ok, so I got us checked in and I didn't see my medical requests listed, so I had to call and they are in the computer, thank goodness, I didn't need to get there and not have my needs met with this stikin foot. I am at least getting used to this boot and it's not quite as annoying as it was last week.

On another note, I have been sick to my stomach, because I had misplaced $50 worth of Gift cards from my MIL, but DH found them this afternoon, what a relief.

I have my iPod ready for the drive and I have gotten a few things out and will toss them in the suitcase before I go to bed. I feel like I have so much to do, but I really don't think I do. But, I seem to work better under the last minute pressure, whew.

I can't believe we're leaving in 9 days. I've been pouring over the touring plans, crowd calendars, and the boards, trying to get my basic plan down. DH thanked me for doing all of the work. That made me feel good. At least he doesn't think I'm crazy.

I ordered our PhotoPass today. Mickey mail is in hand. We received our Disney Rewards card. DH got a $50 Disney gift card from his work. Still need to get our gift cards from Target (thanks to my mom and her Target card) and I need to put in an order with Garden Grocer.

It's all coming together. Oh, and we still have to tell the kids! We plan to tell them Thursday afternoon. I hope it goes well.
