The Official "I pack way too soon" Club-inspired by TinkerPixie

We seem to have a few clandestine members of this club who pack way too soon for their Disney trips. Anyone else want to fess up and be counted among the official members?

How early have you actually pulled out the suitcases and started packing? I will admit to 3 months ahead, pulling the suitcases out and starting to throw things in them as I come across things I don't want to forget.

Anyone else?

I have a small house so when I am sure that my MIL isn't going to be over until we leave I start packing!! I just can't bear to see the look on her face as she finds out we are going AGAIN!!

I'ts all her fault anyway she got us all hooked!!

I used to be like that....but the last two or three trips, I have been packing the night beofre...weird huh?

I'ts not exactly a suitcase but I do have a large totebag that hangs in my hall closet and it's called the "Disney bag" and whenever I buy or run across something that should go to WDW I toss it in. The bag's already filling up & we don't go til Feb.

husband has informed me that for our short four night vacation.....all I can take is a carry on...no big 27 inch pull man....just a lousy carry on.....I need help trying to put in the all the clothes that I WANT TO TAKE.....and my bathing suits and my supplies..you know that needed stuff.....

JTB, I KNOW that modesty dictates that your DH MUST sleep in pajamas, but some of us believe in affording our wives easier access ......

DH and I sleep in separate beds - like Lucy and Ricky.

My name is Barb and Im an early packer, actually I never really unpack.

We are cruisin on the Nov 30th Disney Magic Eastern Carib. We leave in 96 days on turkey day for the airport. In the upstairs closet (closet is about the size of a small room) I already have piles laid out for DH, DS and myself. Ive been hitting alot of the stores and buying dress shirts, shorts, pants, etc for the cruise. Where else am I suppose to put my purchases?!

In the summer I leave my suitcase partially packed between our mini-vacas. Why should I completely unpack just to pack it up again?
Sept 3rd I'll unpack from the last of our summer mini-vacas, clean the house and bring the suitcases down from the upstairs closet and really begin packing. So I'll have 12 wks to fully devote to packing for the cruise.

And I thought I was the only early "packaholic"!! Yep, I have suitcases and items to pack out at least 3 months ahead! The funny thing is that I don't pack a lot of things! LOL! We are DVC members, so I need to take things like laundry detergent, non-perishable food stuff that I can't seem to find my favorite brand of in Florida etc. We actually take very few clothes. Our list includes 2 pair of shorts, 1 pair of jeans or long pants (we go in January),a couple warm weather tops, a couple cool weather tops, unbrellas, 2 pairs of shoes each, and 4 days of underwear. We do a load of laundry every day, so don't need much in the way of clothes. Just LOVE that in villa laundry at OKW villas!
